Bought a porlex coffee grinder, an aeropress and some coffee mugs from here! Really friendly and helpful staff, they threw in a tote bag too. Didn’t inquire about the coffee machines but they have quite a good range from the looks of it. Would recommend!

Love this shop! I needed a new grinder and sent an email asking if they stocked the one I wanted. Response was no, they used to but had had too many problems with them. I did a bit more research and found that model did indeed have a lot of complaints online. (I should have checked in the first place) When I picked another model they advised new stock was expected. I received an email the day stock arrived and one was kept aside for me for a few days until I could get there from the Gold Coast. Gave me a trade in price to boot! We live in NNSW & needed a replacement espresso machine. CMS sales staff gave us excellent honest info to help with choice. Unfortunately our chosen Lelit espresso machine had a pump failure only a couple of weeks after purchase. All service staff were friendly & prioritized helping us with a solution, (tho' occasionally not yet familiar with their own procedures.) The pump was very quickly replaced under warranty at no cost and has worked perfectly since. We are still v happy with our choice. Our only problem was communications as above & some handling & tracking of accessories that went astray. (Perhaps a cross-border COVID problem?) Otherwise 5 stars.

I took my Baratza coffee grinder into this place for repairs. Was fixed within a week and works better than brand new! Great service from the staff, very knowledgable, and best of all-- FIXED PRICE, with exception to replacement parts, which is understandable. Highly recommended! EDIT: Originally 5 Stars but have knocked it down to 3. My grinder broke again just outside of repair warranty period. I had taken it in thinking they could repair it better than myself, but not the case. I opened the grinder up myself and found it was inadequately repaired. They did nothing but slip the drive belt back on, when a component inside was coming loose and the real issue. Worst still, nothing had been cleaned and coffee grounds had found their way into every possible space. They still delivered a working device, but I now think this place is not worth the cost.

Fantastic service. My coffee machine stopped working and I was in a panic as I need coffee, especially at this time. I rang them and they said to bring it straight in and it would possibly take 10 working days to fix, which is still a reasonable time. I dropped it in on a Tuesday and it was fixed by Friday. Our Rancilio Silvia had not been used for a number of years while we were travelling around Australia. On our return we thought that we should have it serviced before it was used. I purchased the ECM Classika PID in October 2019, to replace my Rancillo Silva (Good Upgrade). Chris gave me a good price for my old machine so overall cost was great. In April 2020 the steam wand started to loose horsepower, rang The Coffee Machine Specialist to get it looked at. I live 5hrs from Brisbane which makes popping into the shop difficult, but the Team arrange a 1 day turnaround for me when I visited Brisbane next. The fault was one of those rare occurrences and easily fixed (at no charge). Had the service done at the same time. The Team are polite, professional, prompt and cannot do enough to help. Have had my machine serviced by others many times over the last 10 years, and never been satisfied, despite ridiculously high bills. I wish I had known about these guys. Quick, communicative, thorough and not expensive. Reckon I’ll get another 10 years from it... and will now go back to having it serviced regularly... update Day 2... realised that at last I’m getting good steam and great milk, which was why I bought a Vibiemme originally. I have complained about this for years, including contacting the distributors for recommendations Re service agents, to no avail. Steam is now showing 1 bar on gauge, as per specs, not 0.5... thanks A year later, annual service done, running like new, very happy and suitably caffeinated

(6 March 2021) I have used Coffee Machine Specialist subsequently for my La Scala service. Each time it comes back working beautifully. I especially like that CMS takes the time to explain what they did, what they replaced (old bits returned to you if you wish), and what might be needed in the future. Great service... -- My La Scala coffee machine was in need of a thorough service. All sorts of niggling little things were going wrong. It's a heat exchanger, group E61 machine. They explained what they would do and within a couple of days I received an email stating what needed to be replaced and fixed. When I was told the machine was ready for collection I was given a full, itemised list of everything, with photos, that had been done including a box of the old parts--nothing worth keeping. In fact looking at them made me realise I should have been doing more for my machine. My machine works beautifully and smoothly. Every cup of coffee is a delight. CMS have made my machine like new. And the cost was fair and reasonable. I think they're great and I will go back.

Definitely the place to go when looking for coffee machines. You will find almost everything you need here for coffee making and the machines are top quality. NEW REVIEW 28 NOV 2020 After researching relevant espresso machines I opted for lelit mara x pl62x. I placed a order with the team during covid and they kept in touch with delivery dates as machine had to be shipped ex Italy. This is my second service for my La Scala Butterfly E61 coffee machine. CMS are quite forensic in their approach. After taking in the machine I received an email from Gary detailing what he'd found wrong and which parts had been replaced. Photos were included too. Following testing I picked up the machine along with the parts replaced. My machine is brewing beautifully. Worth every penny....

Exceeded expectation! I bought an entry level grinder today and can't get it to work or some reason. Frustrated and took it back for help. They explained and tried every single setting til they found a reasonably fine setting. Then she actually made a coffee for me to see whether the flow is too fast or too slow. I also got some beans to take home so "I don't have to waste my own beans when I might have to keep trying the grinder setting". Exceptional service.
