Here is one of the most delicious ham, tomato and cheese toastie I have ever eaten!!! Its environment is comfortable and the price is very reasonable. If you want a convenient breakfast, this is the perfect choice!

Really friendly staff with good customer service. Excellent smashed avo on toast! Love the purpose driven mission of the Hope Street Cafe helping train staff for jobs in the hospitality sector. If you are close, or at the State Library, then this is worth the extra few minutes walk to contribute something more than the economic bottom line. Nice alternative to Southbank too!

Amazing people, price and food. They are doing great non-profitable work for new and young workers as well. Just one thing, this place is freezing inside when they use air-conditioning. Please bring your jacket, especially in the summertime. It will be best if they save energy just a little bit more. Anyway, a great place overall :)

A cute little Cafe with good pricing, nice food and polite staff. Had a lovely light breakfast here with friends, pricing for meals was very reasonable and the resulting quality was slightly above what was expected given the price. A nice location with average serving times, though given the number of staff and size of the Cafe, serving times are more than understandable. Would recommend for a nice quiet breakfast or lunch!

This place is amazing. The food and coffee is fantastic. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The whole premise of this cafe is to train those who need extra help and to give them an opportunity that they wouldn’t usually get. Going there really does help and gives you an opportunity to give back and support those who need it.

So much bang for your buck and warm service. I had the mushrooms on toast with a side of halloumi here this morning for brekky and it was the best I've had. Served on a lovely plate and completely full! I struggled to finish it. The servers are very friendly and the coffee was on point. Added bonus; all day breakfast. This place is a winner.
