What a nice little surprise! Found this place when we had to be in Annerley one morning. Good coffee, super friendly staff and plenty of locals dropping in for breakfast on the covered deck. Dog friendly too.

We went to little Clives this morning, the service was great, however I am only giving 4 star cos they offered us cold water but forgot to bring it out as they were busy!!! The food was delicious and always and the staff were friendly and helpful as we were nearly going to order just some chips as well as our meals but it was recommended it comes out huge!! I've mostly been happy with my morning. The lovely little lady making coffee however sadly has left. The big fella making them now delivers ordinary at best brews. I've put up with this for a while but now left dumbfounded at the 2 warm milk waters I was served as coffee today. Wont be back.

We are hitting the breakfast jackpots recently. Found little gem online from a food blog and was not disappointed. The food is really high quality, delicious and prepared for coeliacs - very impressed. The staff have mastered easy-going and friendly with extreme attentiveness and it was a lovely experience. Great customer service. Very professional and quick to be served. The breakfast wrap was delicious. It looked a little small but the flavour made up for it. Good bacon and tasty sauce. The wrap bread tasted home made. Banana smoothie was sweet and creamy. I would have preferred if they chose to use biodegradable takeaway cups and straws, time to cut out the plastic! The prices are on the high end but the taste makes up for it. Dog friendly.

I don’t usually review takeaway coffee, but I had to share this experience! One of the best coffees I’ve had recently. Perfect temperature and smooth blend. To add, the staff were friendly and super efficient! The cafe was busy for takeaway coffees, but mine was ready in a few minutes. Would definitely come back to dine in and try the food! The location is convenient with lots of parking space. Both of the dishes tasted good, the chicken was crispy and with halloumi was a pleasant surprise. All the flavors came together well with the sriracha mayo sauce that had a Korean taste. Finally had the chance to have a bite of Little Clive. I ordered their special waffles. The presentation was on point. The waffles were crispy. The chili spiced up the flavor and left me with that slightly tingly sensation, but was not overpowering, which I really appreciated. The beef brisket was tender and rich in flavor. My partner ordered a mushrooms on French toast which according to him was a bit too greasy and I agree, especially the deep fried kale. But we both agreed that the coffees were spot on. Very appealing to our likings. In general it was a really enjoyable experience and the staff were great.

Nice little cafe with 2 hour parking. Not hard to find. Friendly staff. Pretty good amount of seating. Prices are moderate. I got the bacon and eggs Benedict and they came out looking Instagram worthy with two perfect little eggs on top that when I lightly poked one, the yolk just oozed beautifully out over everything. Very tasty. Nice coffee too.

Went here based on an Urbanlist article recommendation. Food wasnt bad but it felt like limited options and like pub food (burgers and fries). I went to Little Clive this morning (Saturday) after an earlier appointment. I was walking with a pram, and it was difficult to access (both the car park (without using the driveway) and then the store level (I couldn’t see any ramp down sections in the high gutter). After ordering I went to the toilet, with my toddler in the pram. Again, it was inaccessible with the pram without mounting curbs (no chance with a wheelchair!). There was not enough space in the cubicle, so I had to park the pram in the hand washing area, leave the door open and go to the toilet. Those things are about the centre, which I imagine LC has little control over. Now as for the cafe itself… Thankfully they did have a high chair which I made use of. Bub was getting grumpy, so I went to the counter to ask if they could bring the fruit toast out ahead of the eggs. The barista said, “I’m making coffees. The kitchen looks after that.” She was not only unhelpful, but her tone was rude and was such a strong reaction to my mildly phrased request. Fair enough, she’s been allocated a job, but she could have at least suggested that I speak to the other counter staff member, as she didn’t have capacity right now. To the other staff member’s credit, she took the initiative to come over when she heard our discussion. She checked what I was asking for and actioned it. Not only that, but she brought over a kid’s activity pack and offered it to us. That was unexpected and amazing. As for the food, the presentation was excellent, with a special touch of edible flowers on the plate. The fruit toast was enjoyable. The scrambled eggs with a side of bacon, had SO much bacon (it was disproportionate, although on the other hand made the steep $5 price tag more reasonable. The eggs were disappointing, quite oily and lacking seasoning.

Tables were sticky, the service was a bit blunt, one of the female staff delivering coffees and working out back had no mask on and the coffee wasn't that great and pricing was not very reasonable. Although they do a nice bacon and egg muffin and there rid plenty of free parking it won't be enough for me to go back.

This is a great meetup spot. They have heaps of room on the deck and a dedicated car park. Coffee is decent, breakfast is pretty standard price and what you'd expect at a nice cafe. The service can be a bit hit or miss depending on who you get but it's never ruined my experience here.

Was 5 star coffee and food with previous owners (changed hands 6 months ago). Current owners don't have a clue as to what it takes to create a proper espresso...and food is now ordinary. Sad to see such a stellar venue slide due to inadequate handover and current owners not understanding coffee or innovative food that was mainstay of venue when they bought it. We've been there 4 times since the place changed hands...coffee is drinkable (my partners long black today was so was insipid and week, it was 'almost undrinkable' according to her. My flat white tasted burnt but was drinkable) and food passable..but compared to how this place was...recently and today its a fail! They get 1 more chance..and then they've lost us for good...then its time to find another 5 star coffee haunt...let's hope they get the message and lift their game!!

I popped in for a quick breakfast on my way through on a Sunday morning. I was seated promptly, my order taken, and I barely had time to scratch myself before my coffee came out. The place is warm and friendly as are the courteous staff, however the food lacks balance. The pancakes and waffles are always super sweet and offer no relief. Some acidity on the plate like fresh berries or citrus instead of popcorn would really lighten up the meal.

Nice coffee and lots of vegan options. Unfortunately the pancakes were really disappointing. The artificial strawberry syrup they used was awful (menu says "macerated strawberries") the chocolate cream tasted like water, chocolate powder and unmelted sugar. Little Clive was disappointing, the menu was limited and overpriced, nor could the quality of the food bring me to give this place better than 2 1/2 stars. Nothing inspirational about the decor or location to write about either, it was a hot muggy day outside and inside too.

Didn't seem busy enough to warrant the late meals. Service is good, and the food was decent, but it's the wait time that brought it down.

This is the first place I went to upon moving to Annerley and I was lucky, as I picked the best in the area. Consistently great food, great range of boutique beers and lovely staff. I felt right at home here.

The smoked chicken salad was nice, but the avocado content was very tiny (no more than an eighth of an avocado) and this is avocado season! Similarly, the fresh fruit and muesli was nice but very tiny yoghurt portions - meaning about a third of a bowl of plain dry muesli to finish on.
