Such a great venue for a large, casual lunch. We had 27 people for our Christmas work party and the functions team didn’t miss a beat. I can highly recommend the Feast, every option was fabulous and there was certainly more than enough food. From the initial booking with Michaela to Luke, Molly, Ben and the rest of the service team … everyone couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a brilliant, chilled day and it was such a lovely, stress free experience for the organisers!!

Lovely spot for the lunch break between the bike ride through river city. The Smash avo, salad and the ice coffee were perfect and light and healthy meal for us to order. The river view and this lovely lunch did it all ❤

My family and I attended Christmas Day lunch at Mary Mae's. It was our second time for Christmas lunch there and as usual it was a wonderful experience. The staff were happy and welcoming, the food was plentiful and divine and overall it was just lovely way to spend Christmas. The box of chocolates (a thank you for being return customers) was unexpected but lovely. It's these little touches that keep us going back. We look forward to Christmas lunch there again next year.

We LOVE this place. We had a day on the river, showcasing Brisbane to our visiting daughter ( from Melbourne). We took the City Cat from Northshore Hamilton to New Farm Park, wandered through the gorgeous parkland, and for that we earned our lunch at Mary Mae's. We chose 3 different meals: Fish cakes, Green focussed salad, and sweet potato chip salad. Our 3 meals were delicious as we traded bites at the outdoor bar table. Wines and beers complimented our meals. This place had a DJ with a great music mix. The sunshine and the sparkle on the river just added to the ambience.

We stopped at Mary Mae’s bar for brunch on a Thursday. It was busy but not overly busy with lots of choices where to sit. There is the indoor area with French windows, the outdoor area have tables with umbrellas and other tables without umbrellas if you want to soak the winter sun and warmth. Nice food, nice river views especially if you sit outside close to the water. It is a place we visited in the past and will definitely return to.

First time I have visited this amazing restaurant and to say it has exceeded my expectations is an understatement. The food, omgosh so delicious. I had the Mediterranean gnocchi and my partner had the lamb loin. Both were so delicious. So much flavour, present beautifully. Great serving sizes. For dessert we had the lemon posset which was mouth-watering. The staff were marvellous, the lovely gentleman behind the bar (I wish I had gotten his name) was happy to answer all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my chai tea decision and how I wanted it made (on milk by the way. It was perfect) Huge shout out to Amy who went above and beyond to make sure we were warm and toasty outside on the deck, happy with everything and just took the time to make us feel at home.

Beautiful location for a relaxing meal or drink. This river side restaurant is a great place to meet, with plenty of parking close by, a ferry stop just down the path, lots of walking paths and is very puppy friendly. The meals were tasty, but nothing special and they couldn’t do a few things we asked for (bed of spinach rather than bread). It is the location that definitely wins this place over for me.

Visited on a weekday lunch, food and service was great for a reasonable price. It's an order at the bar with a buzzer to collect your food affair, but when they can the wait staff try and bring it out to you if it's not too busy. Service was good with friendly and efficient staff. Food was all high quality, we enjoyed the ploughman's platter and the salt and pepper calamari with a few sides, all very tasty. The kids meal was also great, even coming with dessert. Nice views and great to sit outside when the weather is right, just watch out for the bin chickens that can get a bit close when they're hungry. Kid friendly with highchairs available. Will definitely visit again.

Very chillaxed spot right on the Brisbane River! Perfect place for a drink on a warm Brisbane afternoon. Lovely breeze coming off the river as you watch the boats, Citycats & paddle steamers float by. Drinks list is extensive & reasonably priced. Most importantly, they were well made by friendly and efficient bar staff. Food menu isn't huge, but covers a good range. Plenty of nibbles that go perfectly with a drink! Best of all, it's pet friendly! Plenty of people with well-behaved dogs sitting in the outdoor area, which just adds to the relaxed vibe... 👍

It's not everyday you get quick service from a restaurant that not only seems understaffed but also on a public holiday (Christmas Day). The food tasted fresh and delightful the only detraction would be that the food was a touch on the cold side otherwise perfect!

I was fortunate enough to host an engagement party at Mary Mae's recently. I never bother to write reviews but i felt a need to put my two cents worth in writing this time. PROS 1. reasonably priced and extremely transparent - not typical of engagement and wedding party venues. 2. Great communication from Michaela the event organiser. 3. Food, fan-bloody-tastic. Rave reviews from all guest on the roving menu. Also dietary requirement meals at no extra cost, served directly to those guests. 4. highly versatile space in regards to wet weather planning, media and sound equipment etc. CONS - i suppose a valid review provides some room for improvement 1. some more assistance in taking gifts back to the car post event would have been handy, as the trolley was unavailable late at night. But im sure there is an easy work around to this. All in all, the event was a success and at a fabulous venue. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a party location.

A quick stop here via a 10 min e-scooter ride from Howard Smith Wharves on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon for a post-brunch, pre-midday-snack snack... Service was fantastic, personable and fast... Pimms was awesome... Calamari was light and crisp. All in all, a perfect Sunday. Ooh, yeah, and the DJ had very good poolside mixes.

Great place to visit on a weekend. The environment is amazing and the food is great. This is a place that I will definitely come back again. The staff is very friendly. 4 stars as the Eye fillet is just not worth the $40 you will get two tiny pieces of steak and a whole bunch of mash.

The bloody mary are Delicious. We had a relaxing day outside by the water watching people walk by and the city cats pass us. The Cheese board was amazing, we had to get more crackers because we just had so much cheese. Staff were nice and professional. Plenty of parking near the New Farm park.

I had the crumbed fish and chips with tartare and coleslaw. The fish was pretty large and a large amount of nice thin cut chips. It was beautiful with a nice live musical on the water. The only thing I could say is I wish they had the seafood platter still as it’s still advertised online and looks amazing. Hopefully they bring this back in this new menu.

Great setting looking out over the river. Food is good but they need to up their salmon quantity in their poke bowl. I had just a few measly flakes make an appearance in mine! However why they get a 3 ⭐️ review is the service. Staff are nice enough but don’t seem in synch and the service overall is a little confused which detracts from the experience.

We want to thank everyone at MMs for our fantastic wedding reception last weekend! Michaela was extremely professional and accomodating in helping us organizing our dream night. The staff were all superb and welcoming to us and our guests. The view out over the river was lovely and the venue was setup exactly as we had imagined. We opted for a feasting menu, all the dishes were delicious and the portions were perfect. Thank you to chef Jen for your fantastic menu. Many of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the meal!

Lovely spot for Saturday brunch. Food was good & prices about what you'd expect given the location. They serve breakfast until 11:30 and we arrived at 11:15 and were able to easily get a riverfront table and food/ drinks. By noon the place was packed though, especially outdoor seating. The specialty bloody Mary's were fabulous, if pricey ($17). Staff were all very friendly & helpful. I like the relaxed environment so would definitely return.

Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with 30 guests in the 'lounge'. The venue is beautifully decorated with stunning views across the Brisbane River. The substantial canapes were a great size and very tasty. All the drinks including basic wines were of high quality. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

I had breakfast on one morning, (benedict with mushrooms), then the crispy barramundi a couple of nights later. Both meals were oustanding! The mushrooms in the breakie, are the reason you go out for breakfast, perfect, golden, buttery portobellos, also a very generous serving all round, eggs poached to perfection, and a beautiful housemade hollandaise. The crispy barra, was fresh and skin crispy as promised, cauliflower was cooked thoughtfully, and pomegranate and sauce were the perfect balance to the hearty barra.

LOved everything about this place..food for sharing, beautiful view and atmosphere and dog friendly. All the dogs were on leads and under control. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the kids. Don't blame the kids. Blame their folks sitting by ignoring signs for kids NOT to play on the installations there. Just dangerous and the parents would be the first to scream and point the finger if anything happened to any of those offspring. Great example parents. Just don't expect them to take much notice of rules and regs, yours or any others as they grow. Whilst they didn't spoil our night...the difference betwen responsible dog owners and irresponsible parents was glaring.
