What a lovely little place for breakfast. Friendly faces and service, good home cooking done really well. Stop in on your way through, you won't be disappointed.

We've been through Miriam Vale a few times, as it is one of the more comfortable places to stop for the electric vehicle charger we can use. This was the first time we tried the cafe and found that the food was excellent and well priced. On top of that the service was even better. The fact they serve Merlo coffee as well is an added bonus.

Firstly, this place is awesome!!! Big thank you to the women who put so much effort and love into providing great coffee and food to locals but mainly they’re providing a service for all of us on the road! Secondly, ignore any reviews less than 5 stars - people have no idea what it takes to run a cafe in such a small community!

Wow, the new owners have made this place amazing! The best scone I've ever had, and lots of other yummy looking homemade treats. The pies are very popular, so you need to get in early to get one.

We stop here every time we drive past. Thankfully this isn't too often, but that's more to say it's a long drive than the venue. Food is fine, sitting down and having a decent breakfast travelling south from Rockhampton is most welcome. If you're driving through Miriam Vale, turn off and take a well earned break at a nice cafe.

I enjoy stopping here every time I 'm driving to Agnes Waters/1770. The staff are always prompt and friendly, the pies are the best in QLD and the restaurant is alway clean and inviting. I love their chips and gravy and their big breakkie. Great healthy options too! Definitely worth the stop every time!

Just dropped in on our way through. Opposite park with very clean and plentiful amenities. Merlo coffee was well made but the bacon and egg burger is the best burger we have had for a long time. Freshly made. Tasted great. Fantastic value. Don't hesitate to stop here.

Well worth the stop for food and coffee. Everything was made how food should be with love and with the intent of perfection. We had coffee’s with “almond” milk, chicken and veg pie, chips and a toasted sandwich with our choice of fillings. We had a Big Breakfast $16.00 and was a bit disappointed as the sausages were only 3/4 cooked, the 2 thin slices of tomatoes were overcooked and mush, the hashbrown was overcooked but the bacon and eggs were perfect. I would have liked to butter my own toast but alas it was buttered prior to us getting our meal. The staff were friendly enough though which was good as this is not the first time we have visited this cafe during our travels that take us through Miriam Vale.

Last year at the same time, we had a beter experience. We love coffee, and this time we only get ithe coffee in a takeaway Cup. We dine in and everything was wrapped in platik and bags. Sadly it looks a bit Run Down. Maybe next year we give another go.

This is a fairly generous rating for what is a fairly standard country Cafe. It is partly in recognition that our country cafes have been lifting their standards. It may in fact be that social media reviews such as this reward the extra effort, but we have appreciated the better cafes we have found on our long drive north this year and this is one of them.

This is an old fashioned cafe in a quiet little town. It should be charming. People going somewhere else stop here, so maybe the clientele is the once only type. Unfortunately the cafe is rather run down and not terribly clean. In the hands of energetic management it could be much better.
