A really good cafe, great variety of creative food and friendly staff. Would absolutely go again, I want to try so many things on their menu. Staff is very friendly. Parking easily available. Scan the code to get their menu on your phone, they have limited printout menus. The drinks menu look incredible!

Piggy back cafe is a good brunch place, very tasty food ! We got the big breakfast and the eggs Benny, we even tried their cool rainbow coffee. The staff were all friendly and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be back again soon!

Staff are amazing and always provide professional, polite and diligent service, making sure your meal is to your liking and you have enough water. The food its self is banana's good. In the few times I've been, I've never had bad food. The Popcorn Chicken Waffles are amazing, as is the pancake stacks. The fruit smoothie/blends always taste amazing with the meals. The rainbow Coffee's are delightful and a good little treat. Also being a dog friendly Cafe you get to enjoy your meal with some real cuties. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would give it 10 stars if I could.

Back at the Piggy Back café after a long pause. The new and refreshed menu is great. Really fun items in there (I especially liked the Peanut Cream Latte) and a nice place to hang out. The food presentation was great and it was delicious.

Piggy Back has been one of my favourite cafes for its vibrant and unique appeal. It’s one of the few cafes I’ve seen in QLD that do ‘rainbow’ coffee, and for that I think it’s worth a visit a least once. The coffee blend itself is often a bit of a hit or miss, depending on the barista that makes it. Likewise, the food that we have tried has been very underwhelming. Our last visit, we got the salt and pepper calamari, which was very hard and uncomfortable to eat. Everything is very ‘instagrammable’ not necessarily delicious, but then again I have only tried a few menu items. Staff have been pleasant each visit, but never go out of their way to be friendly. Overall, I love this cafe’s vibe, which may be why I keep coming back. It’s always busy, always vivacious, and everything always looks great. If more attention was put into the taste of their menu items, I would definitely be raving about the place. Until then, a visit every now and then is enough for us!

Really nice and different food. Massive servings, really tasty. Great customer service. The drinks are so delicious. Definitely worth a trip.. especially if you have a sweet tooth too. Bit on the expensive side but it is worth it!

Unfortunately there are no vegetarian options on the gluten free menu apart from sides. I asked if the tofu curry is gluten free (just as it is at both other locations) In which the kitchen staff said yes. I then received the curry without tofu. Staff then questioned kitchen and confirmed that it’s gluten free without tofu and sent back my bowl of sauced vegetables. Lucky the bar staff was highly embarrassed and gave my drink complimentary but not a good setup for people with allergies. Strange as tofu doesn’t contain gluten and both other locations serve it gluten free. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re plant based with coeliac allergy unless you feel like chicken flavoured chips for dinner..

What a great atmosphere...made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Solid menu selection at reasonable prices. Service is friendly and efficient. Tried both the Green and Banana Smoothies....both were delicious. Oreo shakes tasted even better than they looked. Waffles are worth a real crack as are the eggs benny. All in all a great experience.

Expectation vs reality, unfortunately it did not live up to my hopes. I abandoned my rainbow coffee after 2 sips, just awful. Way too much milk and the coffee shot itself just not nice coffee. When you pour it into the mug of milk it overflows. I had the zucchini corn fritters which were actually waffles. They lacked the crispy crunch on the outside and weren't very warm so the texture seemed stale. Overall taste was nice though. The avocado and tomato mixture on top was really nice but I seemed to get a lot of the stem from I assume watercress? My partner got the piggy benny and he said it was nice. He got the neon coffee and wasn't a fan. All up this place has potential to be better, a few minor tweaks and I think they could really nail it.

Seriously one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. The cafe is quite far from the city but absolutely worth the trip! The location is very quite and strangely gives a beach vibe. Make sure to check out the blackboard on the left when you enter for some special menu! I was lucky to try the rainbow latte and their signature rainbow coffee!

We also ordered the rainbow coffees which is really insta worthy however the coffee itself is pretty average. Cafe is dog friendly with a couple of dog treats on the menu. Cute Drinks but the Chicken n waffles and the Piggy Benny weren’t the best, the chicken didn’t have much flavour, was a bit dry, waffle/fritters had a weird texture and neither were hot, egg was raw, the Piggy Benny was drowned in bbq sauce, would have been nicer without so much, if we come back we won’t go for the gimmicky savoury meals.

Piggy back was great! I got the pancakes and my friend got the eggs and toast. I also got an iced mocha and bacon. Everything was exceptional, I appreciated the cafes interesting combination of fruits and sauce on the pancakes. I had never had mango on pancakes before, and it was awesome! They were thick and well made, and the helping of bacon was sizeable. The iced mocha was presented well and tasted great. Presentation was average in general but on par with other local cafes.

Nice place to dine with family and friends. The exterior and interiors have nothing much to see and admire though. Nonetheless, their food is so appetizing and satisfying to the eyes, too. I liked how they put the ingredients altogether but still made such a pretty presentation (full of color and flavor). Loved the cookies&cream french toast and green smoothie. A nice cafe with great food and coffee in the western suburb. Child and family friendly. The famous coffee is rainbow coffee. Its served with a rainbow latte art with double shot espresso in a separate cup. We tried Popcorn Chicken waffle. It was very nice. Parking is plenty on street.

I think I had the best eggs benny (bbq pork belly) I've ever had here! They have a great range of drinks too. Their hot chocolates are crazy and I loved their vegan bounty shake.

Mostly this spot was great. Nice menu. Some interesting options. As usual I saw pork belly on the menu and had to have it. Nasi Mekang I think. It was delicious. Unfortunately there had been a mix up in the kitchen and the side sauce was way too salty. Staff apologised and replaced. The rainbow Coffee art is lovely, as per the attached picture. One thing that I really loved was that the staff didn't rush to clear away anything that was finished with. This is something that really bugs me. They waited until the table was finished eating and then cleared. No feeling rushed or leaving a single person with a plate. That alone was almost enough to make this a 5 star for me. Not quite there but I will be back and really look forward to it.

Simply superb. The service great, even on a busy Saturday we were greeted warmly. The menu items are creatively tempting but we settled for the 'Golden Gaytime Pancakes' and the special Banoffee French Toast. Both were spectacular, though perhaps a little on the sweet side towards the end. Coffee was good, and my wife's acai shake was also apparently good. We shall be back for more!

This is my 2nd time here. It’s a 1 hour drive to and from and I don’t usually go out of my way just for a piece of bread with avocado. Piggy Back puts enough effort with flavours and presentation that it sees people coming from all over the world to try their eye-catching rainbow coffees. A suggestion would be to start table service, as that would have given it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Great cafe, easy menu, friendly staff, dog-friendly!

Went there with 3 people and ordered 1 of each desert (3) and said it was to share no side plates or extra cutlery just in the presentation plates. Go for a date and try it out.

I live on the Northside so this cafe is definitely out of the way for me, but made for a nice side trip when visiting DFO just down the road from there for some shopping. I went for the rainbow coffee (they charge you an extra $2 for the privilege and the coffee shot is served on the side, so you have to pour it in yourself) but it makes for a pretty picture! That said, it wasn't a very strong coffee at all and seemed like a mild roast. The strawberry unicorn hot chocolate was ridiculously sweet, but oh, so colourful to look at. The bacon, egg & basil savoury muffin was delicious and not too expensive ($4.50 - cheaper than the rainbow coffee!) and the staff were cheerful & friendly. Would I go back? As it's a bit of a trek for me, probably not, but at least I saw what the fuss was about & got a lovely photograph out of it!

When first opened this café had a very interesting menu but over time the menu reverted to very ordinary selections. At my last visit, the breakfast selection seems to have become much more extensive and interesting again. Great coffee & the barrister certainly is a whizz at "late art".

It was incredibly crowded and there were some very noisy customers which made it tough to hear my friend. She got a rainbow latte which was a fad. It turned grey after stirring all the colours, ok for an Instagram photo, not if you are a serious coffee drinker. Lots of options on the menu, sign in was a bit confusing and manual sign in sheet would have been nice. Beautiful navy walls and pig themed decor.

Would definitely recommend here if you’re looking for began options or any other dietary requirements. The waitress was super friendly and helpful with navigating the menu to ensure my meal was fully vegan. I really enjoyed the avo bruschetta with hash browns on the side of course. I ordered the Piggy Benny which was decent. The hollandaise sauce lacked flavour, there was only one slice of bread and the BBQ/pork sauce was over powering. Definitely not worth its 20$ price tag. However, the service was good and the food & drinks arrived in a timely manner.

I was very excited to try this place after looking at the menu online, the photos looked amazing. When we arrived the staff were talking amongst themselves and we basically had to interrupt them. The customer should always be made to feel welcome and we were not. I ordered the Popcorn Chicken Waffles which basically made up for the bad customer service because it was pretty damn amazing. The staff also forgot a side that we ordered, which we had to go and ask for it, so another let down. But I must say go and try the Popcorn Chicken Waffles- a great comfort food dish even if it is a heart attack on a plate!

An unassuming cafe in the middle of suburbia which really surprised with a truly outstanding brunch menu. Their signature rainbow coffees might be a gimmick, but are actually fun and well-made. Fun little cafe in Jindalee that does rainbow latte art for something different. We had the hotcakes and panna cotta with granola, which were both delicious and loaded up with lots of fresh berries and edible flowers. Who doesn't love a meal that looks great and also delivers on flavour? We went on a Sunday morning around 9:30am, so the cafe was pretty busy, but despite that the food arrived quickly and service was great.

We saw Piggy Back Cafe's rainbow coffees on Instagram so we made it a point to give the place a visit. We ordered the rainbow coffee, sweet potato fries with aioli and the salted caramel milkshake. The rainbow coffee was really pretty and tasted great as well. The sweet potato fries were amazing – really crispy without a single soggy fry – and went really well with the aioli! Wish we had a little more aioli though. The salted caramel milkshake was great as well. Overall great food, great (and pretty) coffee, and reasonably priced.

Pretty sure I got over charged.... paid $11 for what I though was a cheese and tomato crossaint and a coffee turns out was just the crossaint.
