On the list of my favourite cafes! They are not wrong when they describe themselves as part cafe, part living room and a whole lotta lovely. Instantly you feel like you could slink into a comfy corner, put your feet up (maybe actually don't) and do your thing whilst being genuinely welcomed home. The location and space is airy, attracts the sunlight and comfy as hell. The staff are genuine in their desire to serve you up some tasty eats and brew and you this consistent with each team member and each customer. I ordered the vegan bagel, a soy latte and then also an almond latte. The bagel was fresh, GREAT size (I hate leaving hungry) and full of flavour and the coffee was strong, smooth and consistent. Literally cannot complain

My friend recommonded me to try this cafe, and now I'd love to recommond it to you. There are a variety of bagels to choose, which they are concentrating on and really good at. Otherwise, you won't want to miss the coffee, not matter espresso or white coffees are nice and enjoyable. My favorite part was the environment. It's beautiful and literary, you can spend time with friend there, or enjoy it alone with nice lunch, amazing coffee and some reading, like me. Actually I didn't want to leave since I've taken a seat until they were closing.

Went to scout cafe for breakfast and ordered the meat version of Scouts Honour. It was super delicious! The egg was perfectly cooked with the yolk nice and gooey! The sourdough remained nice and crispy and didn't become soggy! The pork and maple sausage tasted so good and flavoursome. Such a great combination! Also ordered the ice latter which was refreshing on a hot day! Even though it was hot, we sat outside as it was super busy inside (but a lovely day to do so!)! Great service too!

Had breakfast here two weeks ago during the holiday period and there was a short queue. We were attended to promptly and got a table outside within 15 minutes. Ordered the brekky bagel and a raspberry smoothie for myself and the salmon bagel and iced chocolate for my girl, both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. The bacon in the brekky bagel was thick cut and tasty without being too salty. Raspberry smoothie was ok, but nothing special. Definitely recommend coming here for the food!

I've been frequenting Scout for almost 5 years now. The owners and staff are delightful. The food and coffee is great! The big table at the back is perfect for doing study/work during the week and perfect for escaping the heat in summer.

My favourite cafe in Brisbane. Feels like popping in to see family. Delicious vegetarian bagels with fun specials popping up each week. They are very flexible to substitute avo or halloumi in the items normally containing meat. Consistently good coffees. Sometimes ridiculously packed on weekends which is a tribute to their awesomeness. Also doggy friendly!

Brilliant little dog friendly cafe, there's a decent amount of seating inside and a couple tables outside too. Their covid process is super simple and easy to do as well. We went to Scout for their milkshakes as we read an online post saying they were amazing. We strongly disagree with that. Milkshakes were pretty dismal. Tasted like warm milk, no flavour.

World’s best Breakfast bagel 🥯!!! Ok maybe not world best because I’ve never had a breakfast bagel in any other part of the world but definitely Australia’s best. What a gem! The coffee is absolutely superb and this is from someone who is very fussy about their coffee. Had the salmon bagel which I have to say was filling yet light and extremely tasty. The only drawback is that it is a little on the small side. But I have to say the service was excellent prompt and very courteous and helpful. would not hesitate to recommend this little coffee shop to anyone hinge get there early on a Sunday

Great atmosphere. Parking after peak hour is great. It's a one way street, so you have a choice of either side. The menu changes regularly. Plenty of locals dine here which is always a good sign. I'm not a fan of the coffee here, but I know a lot who are. Personal taste. A couple of tables on the footpath and good seating inside. One huge communal table in the back room which is cosy. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food on offer.

A great place to get an assortment of yummy bagels, and they always have some kind of sweet French toast which is great for those with a sweet tooth (or those with a whole mouth of them 😁). Coffee is nice and the juices, milkshakes and smoothies are also really good. The muffins and donuts they have at the counter are also a great morning- or afternoon-tea option.

After a 10 min wait for a table (the cafe is very small), we were seated inside the window where there was very little air flow. Don't know if the air con was broken? It's a very busy cafe and the staff were obviously pressing us to order so they could turn the tables around quicker. Despite this, the bagel was great and coffee was lovely. Parking can be difficult depending what time you go, and the nearby streets are very narrow.

Needed a coffee and some breakie before heading to an appointment in Spring Hill and decided to pop into Scout on our way through. I have been following them on Instagram for awhile but haven't had the opportunity to go there until today. For a Monday morning it was busy! All tables taken by the time we sat down after 9am. Very nice coffees (strong, well made) and we had the bagel, fruit toast and kiddies cheese toastie for my son. Nothing overly fancy but very nice. The only downside was the time for the food to come out - not *too* long but when you are on a time constraint I would take this into consideration. Staff were friendly. This cafe reminds me of what I would find in Melbourne or inner city Sydney (ahh those were the days!).

Known for their salted caramel milkshake and it does not disappoint! Delicious! No air con which sucks in Summer but fans around at least. Staff were very friendly. Quaint, little cafe which wasn't a far walk from our hotel. Was quite busy arriving there at 8am but we were lucky to get the last table. Staff were lovely and attentive. Ordered smashed avo, with egg and bacon, husband ordered big breakky. Didn't wait too long for our food. Not my favourite version of the meal I've ordered several times over the years. Avo consistancy had too much lemon and feta blended in. Bacon cut was so thick, didn't like that. Egg was cooked well. Didn't even get half way through the meal, I didn't want to finish it. Wasn't enjoyable. Husband said the sausage and baked potato was quite nice, but too much bread. Cappuccino was delicious. Overall, kinda hit and miss.

One of the Best coffees in town. They use 'supreme' coffee beans which are very good quality and baristas are quite skilled. They are always happy to wash your keep cup and service is always fast despite the morning rush of people.

Quirky little cafe on the outskirts of Brisbane CBD in Petrie Terrace. Good selection of gourmet food and bagels on offer although on the pricey side. Averages around $15 for a bagel on it's own and around $5 for a coffee. Recommend a visit but I would try to avoid lunchtime as it's a small coffee shop so you may have to wait for a table.

Supreme brand coffee is absolutely amazing plus they have the baristas to match its excellence. Not for me - needed a quiet place to read and have a cup of tea and relax but it was the opposite of comfortable A fellow wearing head to toe black outside as I entered the door sneezed violently and his poet like friend kept earnestly making eye contact. I wanted to laugh but very serious people ☺️ Noise levels deafening so I moved to a different spot which was worse - tiresome jazz music plus twenty people inside on a 32 degree day gave me a true introverts’ conniptions Uncomfortable stools that had a strange uneven top with one side higher than the other You will not relax here ! As extremely popular (over-crowded) I waited a long time for my single cup of tea I asked for my money back $5 citing hearing issues which was given with no fuss by the hyperactive manager Pleasant staff smiling and efficiently attentive

Scout ,scout ,let it all out! This is the kind of place where you can go in every now and again and they miraculously remember your order, great little cafe, always busy, good selection of papers at the weekend, those meusli slices are brilliant,I think they might have slightly changed the ingredients,but that's not a bad thing, always a really nice friendly atmosphere in there ,also has outside seating so you can daydream and watch the world go by. Coffee is excellent too.

tl; dr: Good food & coffee, definitely worth a visit I keep coming back because the food and coffee is fantastic and caters to both omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, all other dietary trend fads (you know, gluten free, paleo etc. etc.). The vibe is unfussy and a bit hipster pretentious, but it makes for good people watching. One minor quibble was that on the recent Queen's Birthday public holiday, the prices had already been increased from the menu available online, and there was an extra 15% surcharge on top of this!

Love it! Scout is unapologetically nothing more than it needs to be. Everything about it is worth your dollar, and for some reason so much of this place reminds me of cafes on the Sunshine Coast when I was growing up.
