Amazing. Absolutely amazing! Not only do they have a gorgeous puppy grass and fenced play area and wonderful puppy-loving staff, it’s the ONLY place so far that has let me make a breakfast based purely on their amazing sides. It allows me to fully control what I eat AND pay for. The food is magnificent and we were so impressed we’ve been 2 weeks in a row.

Loved it! Many cafes are dog friendly, but Snag & Brown takes things next level....with a dog play area! Of course they serve Puppycinos, as well as well executed long blacks (on Bear & Bones beans). Menu offers a standards and some with a twist, try the Hash Stack for some sustenance.

Delicious food, great coffee and excellent service. There are rooms inside - great for small groups and a lush garden outside. Service was prompt and helpful. I had the vegan bowl and it was good! The cooked mushrooms and tomato were warm and the sourdough fresh.

Just finished an amazing brekky there followed by some delicious sweets they sell. The potato curls were also amazing 👏. We eached loved our meals. Everything was cooked to perfection and well presented. A great place to take your dog aswell. They actually have a dog park for your fur babies so it's a must! I only wished they had some music playing, but still I rate it 5 stars. Looking forward to coming back.

This was so surprising. Whilst it looks unappealing from the outside, the staff were so lovely and attentive to our dogs and my partner on our visit. We had the Snag of the Day and coffee and both were delicious - exceeded our expectations. The little dog park at the back of the cafe also adds character and our pups loved it. Definitely a quaint atmosphere, with food that was reasonably priced.

Super lovely experience. I should have asked for the wonderfully kind waitress's name who served us at table 9 today at about 12pm. She saw how red and hot my son was from being at the park and quickly got us to an air conditioned room and brought cold water. Without even having to ask, she brought out a high hair for him and some toys he can play with. Seriously a life saver for a struggling mum. I appreciate your kindness and will be in again the next time we are in Tarragindi.

Overall pretty good. The avocado dish was really nice, some really good flavours. My partner liked his snag and brown dish but he said the eggs were tasteless and the yolks were really pale. Unfortunate. Cute little outdoor area and staff were great.

Ah, dog friendly. Small off leash area at the back ( although our Border Collie cross jumped back over the fence when she had had enough 😂). Very friendly dog loving staff, oh and the food was first class and very well priced. Good coffee too! My wife and I cleared our plates and we aren't exceptionally big eaters. There were 2 puppies there at the time and both were enjoying their puppochinos. We will be back!

Tasty food and beverages but there’s bit of space for improvements. Hash brown was cold in the middle and the bowl of food could have included spoon than just a fork. Otherwise good experience and professional staff taking care of our needs. Would recommend visiting.

This is a unique, beautiful place for brunch. Set in an old Queenslander with cute little well decorated rooms throughout the building and a small balcony area out the back. The food/drinks were incredible and service was lovely!

Try to sit on the back. Is lovely out there. There's a cute doggy play area around the back and a beautiful garden. This cafe is a little odd since they seem to be operating out of a family sized house. It's a bit bizarre in terms of layout but charming in a way. The coffee was nice and I enjoyed it.

Incredible! 63 degree poached eggs are cooked perfectly, and the house-smoked salmon is to die for (as is the dill creme fraiche over asparagus). Best cafe brekky I've had full stop. These guys know coffee too; it's hard to find a REALLY good macchiato, but Snag & Brown sure delivered. This place must go on your to-do list!

Snag and Brown is a total surprise! I drive down Ekibin road almost daily and didn't even notice they were they till last week. Stopped in for coffee and brunch. And I have only good things to say about them! Menu is brilliant loads of options for everyone, I'd say about 90% of the menu is available in gluten free. The hash Benedict was DELICIOUS! Serving bloody good cups of Bear Bones! Fresh juices and an a large assortment of iced drinks. The staff were seriously friendly and brilliant with kids! Not to mention they are super doggo friendly too! WILL BE BACK!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The coffee is good, very good actually (I am a pretentious coffee d**khead according to my wife). I came here for breakfast on a Friday morning, I had about an hour to kill and thought I would have breakfast here. The meal was a generous size with the bacon being a nice thick cut and pleasantly sweet with a maple syrup glaze (I make my own bacon, this bacon is more like home cured than mass produced stuff, probably from a good butcher instead of a wholesaler) and the sausage was large and flavoursome while not being greasy. Well worth a meal here if you get the chance, I will probably bring Mrs Wonderful and Wondeful Jnr here for lunch or dinner in the not too distant future.

Oh boy, what can I say but best cafe breakfast ever. Amazing homemade bubble and squeak hash browns, fabulously tasty and no-fat-at-all sausage, seedy sourdough bread the best ever and great poached eggs. There was nothing fried fat about it, just delicious clean eats! Good coffee, lovely outdoor setting. First rate!

Went for brunch worth my partner and dog, we came whilst it was quite busy, staff were friendly, the food was super unique and delicious & my dog absolutely loved the play area. It was really nice being able to eat at the nearby table whilst he played with other dogs nearby. We came home in a food coma, and he came home tuckered out from his play. The live music was also awesome. Just an all round lovely atmosphere 🙂 Also : good coffee!

This was the best place to come for a Saturday brunch after hiking with the dogs. Our group of 7 (+ 3 dogs 🐶 🐶 🐶) was accommodated for really well despite being fairly busy. We couldn’t be happier with the food and our dogs were happy too with the treats and water they received. We were very fortunate that other customers dogs were extremely well behaved so all the dogs got along and there were zero incidents (which the onus should be on the dog owner anyway). Hope to be back soon, thank you for providing such a lovely space for the dogs

Nice and relaxed outdoor area which is great on a sunny winters day. They have different sausage and hash brown flavours on the specials board every day but I don't personally like sausages and there are only half a dozen other lunch options that haven't changed in a long time. We go here quite a bit for the location but I wish they would update the menu each season. The curly potato spirals are great.

Came here for the first time today and was very impressed with the service of their staff and friendliness especially with my dogs. It’s fantastic being able to go to a proper pet-friendly cafe and not get any attitude from staff. Loved the backyard area setup for dogs with a kids playground area nearby. The staff were lovely and attentive, they knew my friend and her children by their names as they’re regulars which is a great sign of excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming here more frequently for excellent coffee and food 😊

So here is yet another quaint cafe. It has a great inside eating area which is not evident from the front of the shop front. It looks like there is minimal seating in the front of the cafe. Selected rooms with almost individual dining areas, As well as an outside eating area out the back area ample. This place has been here for years. I am really sorry to say this is the first time I had been there, despite being a semi local to the area. I really should have been there and shared great food and atmosphere with my friends. The menu is a good size and there are also specials on the board. The food was very very tasty and timely in its arrival at the table. The staff were very friendly and were very attentive. All round it was a worthwhile stop in our afternoon and would happily go there again. I do believe I am having an afternoon out with my sister next Tuesday and I think this will be our destination. Really want to try more of their menu. Costs were average but well worth the food and drinks we ordered. Take a dive into the unknown or another dip into the known for those of you who have been here before. I also remember hearing a while back that they are also good for dinner and functions. The coffee and the dirty chai is second to none and this is what the 5 stars are for. I was shocked to see the girl behind the counter touch her nose and face half a dozen times in the time it took to prepare my coffee and I then also witnessed her handle food twice. In these scary covid times we need to be mindful of those little things, and it is these things that will make or break a business. Especially in hospitality.

If consistency is key, then Snag and Brown have a heavy, jangly, full set of keys. I've now been a patron of S&B more times than I can count on one hand, and I've not been disappointed. Not even a little. The service is prompt and friendly. Staff know the menu and are happy to respond to any questions or requests. Today I was an accidental patron, as I was out walking my 2 dogs with a sleepy infant in the pram. Before I'd sat down the dogs were given water, and the umbrella had been put up for myself and my baby. I ordered the lunch special, which was house cured salmon with lemon and dill marscapone, fresh asparagus, truffled mushrooms and vanilla, among a few other ingredients. It was a deliciously light and zesty option, the flavours perfectly balanced, making it the perfect choice for a beautiful sunny spring day. Naturally, the coffee was on point as I've become accustomed to. I'm so glad the guys chose Annerley as their place to call home for this café, as I plan to visit often. These guys understand food, coffee and the needs of their clientele... and it's a refreshing addition to the suburb!

Great food with a slightly higher price tag: you get what you pay for. A main meal here almost always filled us up l, though we always ensured we could fit in dessert. Couple that with friendly staff who seem to enjoy what they're doing and you've got a winner. We lived just up the road and, while it's got a higher price point than standard restaurants (e.g. an RSL), we made sure to go back when we could.

As a local, I've been there dozen of times and I'm sad I had to come and change my review from 5 stars down to 4. I'm not sure if this is down to new staff or the owner not being around when I went, but it took them 20 minutes to take my order after I had to stand up and get a menu by myself.
