Staff are all fantastic, food is good, and it's a spacious venue. There are lots positives but on several visits I've found each time the acoustics make it a very noisy place (some glass walls), even when it's less than half empty. On my last visit, 6-7pm, there may have been about 15 people in the venue, spread out, but my friend and I struggled to have a conversation. It's been the same each time, so it doesn't seem to be particularly loud people, it appears to be the venue.

The best omelettes ever!!! Unsure what Barbara the review before me is talking about as I am about to have the spinach omelette which is meat free even tho I'm not a vegetarian. It is the only thing I've tried here (oh & a banana smoothie) but it's so good I can't order anything else! Thanks guys & just wish it wasn't so far away for me to walk here, but always well worth it! You guys rock!

Hot chocolate is far too sweet and i don't take sugar! Nothing decent on the menu for breakfast unless you eat bacon or ham! Some chicken cheese and avocado croissant would be great! Not everyone eats pig meat!

Good “on the go” food and coffee, big open space but can get too hot in summer. Super friendly service, food is ok and good value. Easy place to stop for breakfast as not too busy.

It's a great venue, the staff do a wonderful job. There is heart missing from this place. I will retry. I suggest the manager visits and eats at Sparrow and Finch as a comparison.

Lovely food, interesting flavours (in a good way). Booking made in person no problem. Had to remind them about my drink and food seemed to take a while - so lunch took longer than my lunch hour. Therefore recommend advising them if timing is important.

The prices are good. But the fish I ordered tasted bad. It was dry and it tasted strange... it tasted like there were chemicals in it. It just wasn't right. It was not enjoyable. Also, given the humidity and high temps it would have been nice to be served chilled table water or water served with ice. The wait staff were lovely though.

Been there twice for the Friday lamb special. Quieter than most of other cbd bars. Happy hour till 7pm is really good too! Friendly staff. Enjoyed the time with friends there :)

Went here last month for dinner and it was delicious! It was our second time to Too Birds and they didn't disappoint. We had the Grilled pork medallion in plum sauce, five spiced beef cheek and sweet potato chips. All were cooked to perfection and very tasty. They also have a wide variety of drinks. It's in a part of Brisbane CBD that's a bit hidden but worth seeking out. For the quality of food you get I think it's great value.

Food was good if they had it (5:30 and special sold out), as per cocktails (Fri night and no pineapple juice). Music was way too loud for conversation over meal and the seating we had was excepťionaly hot

Excellent food, excellent prices on the daily specials, and the bar snacks. I'm hesitant to point this out, in case the place gets really busy and they dump the specials, but I will, because I'd hate the place to close! Possibly the best cheese burger in Brisbane, their "signature" hot dog is good, but it ain't a patch on the burger. Never change toobirds. PS, $6 pints and house wines all day. Update - Really loud in there now. Guess that's the price of popularity... Almost too loud

Travelled up to Brisbane for the day on an early train from the GC and needed something quick and tasty before a full days training. Toobirds Espresso was awesome. Got a ‘Wednesday’ brekkie special, small almond chai and two slabs of Turkish toast with toppings for $6.50. Both delivered quickly, piping hot and with a smile-can’t ask for much better than that. Not in the big smoke very often but will make sure I visit again!

Lively bar restuarant. Can get very loud with the buzz of people talking and all the hard surfaces - a couple strategically placed noise dampers would work a treat. Small bar with freindly staff and good selection of spirits, average selection of mainstream beer and little choice for ciders. Good for afterwork and meetups.
