The New York Style sandwiches here are pretty good. I would highly recommend the Donatello on Turkish bread. The staff here are also lovely and the cost decor is also a delight when dining in

Stumbled here as i was new to town and was recommended this place by locals. Was welcomed by a wonderful couple and can already tell this place is adored by locals. The lady at the counter seems to remember everyone's names, the decor of the place was simple and cosy. Ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Burger and a latte, which came with a bear on it. Burger was nice and crispy, with a nice spicy kick. Overall, will come again and try their NYC style sandwiches. Really nice place for lunch and coffee break.

I LOVE this cafe. Unbeatable service and coffee. From the first time my partner and I went there they remembered our coffee orders and they also remember the coffee orders of literally everyone I work with. We’ve also had the breakfast a couple times and everything is always cooked to perfection. Really really impressive little cafe.

Blue Olive Café is clean and calm. It has good coffee and fresh breakfasts and lunches. It's excellent if you work nearby or if you're waiting for a bus. And there's a cool pub next door. Life doesn't get much better.

This cafe is a gem amongst a crowded marketplace of cafes in civic. They make amazing sandwiches, smoothies and have great coffee, also have the best coffee art I've seen. When I can get here before work I like to make this my regular coffee spot.

Very friendly, prompt service. Good choice of menu options, including gluten free which is one of the reasons I have already booked a table for next week when I meet with a friend who needs gluten free food. This has been a Friday breakfast tradition for a long time. The bacon and egg rolls are the best in Canberra! We often visit with a 10 person team and are never left hungry for too long. One of the only places on the west side of the city you can actually get a LARGE coffee. None of this hipster sized coffee cups. If your after a good, solid breakfast this is the place. I have moved to Sydney and cannot find a bacon and egg roll that comes close to the Blue Olive! Oh by the way, the owners and staff are amazing. One of the only places I've been to where they actually remember you by name! As Molly would say, "do yourself a favour" and visit the Blue Olive!
