R. H.The food is fast, the servings are large and it's consistently tasty and fresh. The waiters seemed grumpy though? Not sure what's going on with staff morale?
G. J.There was the usual crowd, including Mum's and Bubs. Luckily my friend had booked a table, which was in a great location, near to the pond and a wall, not in the line of running around children. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. My friend and I enjoyed our steak sandwich 🥪😋. She had mango slushy while I had an iced chocolate

Really below average food… The bacon kissed the heat but was not fully cooked or even hot. The sausage had very little flavour and it seemed like the mushrooms were boiled…
However, the thick cut bread was amazing my poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the scrambled eggs were buttery!

R. R.My all time favourite breakfast, brunch & lunch place in Canberra. I have been a repeat customer for over 5 years and will continue to do so! The menu boasts such a wide variety of options and the range of different dishes I have tried have been delicious! The food is of a large portion and at such a low price point in comparison to other CBR cafe - excellent value for money!
I also want to add how considerate and careful they are when made aware of severe allergies. I'm looking forward to returning again in the new year!

M. M.Going to Canberra is always frought with possible being over charged for meals and getting very little for the price. While price was a little more expensive, the value far exceeded my expectations by a factor of 10. The burger was the second best burger I have ever had (the best burger in Canberra) and the chips were First rate. I do not mind paying a little more for good food and I have to say they over provided for the price.
T. T. S. F.Always busy. Coffee is just OK, coffee and egg and bacon roll deal is good though and worth the price. Check out the massive Koi fish in the pond there's a little playground for the real little kids.

M. T. D.The food is nice the coffee is ok, sadly their idea of what a large coffee is, is disappointing and small. The customer service, is where they fail. I always ask for large skinny cap on skim milk, they gave me a full cream and refused to change it to a skim milk cap. On top of this they were rude, and when i visited again after and repeated my order, to make sure they have the order right, they were rude, again. There is an excellent café across the street from injoy, i highly recommend you try them.

S. K.My first time there, had the Injoy Burger which was massive, the bun was a little too soft for my liking but still good overall.
I think I will go back and try their brekkie special. You get an egg & bacon roll, hash brown and a coffee for under $10 which seems to be a very good deal.

S. D.I love how this restaurant has increased its number of dishes. The variety is required for a multicultural place like this. We went with Japanese family and each of us were able to pick a different dish. Loved the taste of my salted calamari with salad. Portions were big too. Luckily I shared with my son so it was just right for both of us. Our Japanese friends were struggling to finish their plates.

Can have a slight delay sometimes with the food but at the end of the day its delicious, the servings are reasonably priced and huge and it's a nice atmosphere sitting either inside or outside. Not sure why they completely re-did the outdoor front area and removed all the lovely green foliage. The fish in the pond are gorgeous though.

A. B.We ducked in here quickly today with a cranky, hungry toddler and our 4 year old guzzle guts. There was a huge line and the place was packed, so we were a bit concerned we would be waiting a long time for food, and worried the toddler may not last the wait. However, within 10 minutes of ordering our drinks were already at the table, and within 20 minutes of ordering, we had all our food. Absolutely amazing - and the food was hot and tasty. Thankyou so much!
N. M.The Injoy burger is a must have! The beef is succulent and the beetroot and pineapple add to the deliciousness. The chips are well seasoned with chicken salt! The salads are massive and well dressed (especially the ceaser salad). My only complaint is the noise level during peak hours. The fish pond easily makes up for this.

I had Eggs Benedict. It was good, but in my opnion the turkish bread toasted is not the best fit for that plate, to hard to cut with the knife.
My wife had scramble egg with avo on toast and her complain was just because they do not have sourdough bread.

J. K.The meal sizes were very generous and everyone enjoyed their food. They catered for gluten and lactose intolerance as well. There's a good reason that they are so busy. Wait times for being served however were long enough that by the time we'd made it back to the table after ordering, the other people at the table had almost finished their meals. Also a very noisy environment. I would sit outside next time so we could hear each other talk.
G.Serving sizes were great. We had the Injoy Burgers which were huge. Our kids had the pancakes with different flavours ice cream and fruit on top. They couldn't even get through half of the dishes. Topped them off with generous milkshakes. Great little spot.
C. G.Hard to beat the prices for the generous servings. Menu has a lot of options and all day breakfast. Good place to go if you’re really hungry and looking for a cheap option. Way too noisy if you want a relaxing meal. Not a bad place for young families but the oldies find it difficult to hear over the noise. Also gets very busy on the weekends so there’s often a long line to order food. They sometimes sell small cheap bunches of flowers from local farmers which is a nice touch.

J. W.Staff are always lovely, food isn’t 5 star restaurant quality but definitely worth the value for money for the prices you pay for.
The only things I would recommend that the cafe should change is:
1: The prawn chilli salad - try and avoid over dressing with sweet chilli sauce, the salad was really soggy and almost looked like a broth.
2: Please introduce wifi! I am on 5G with the most up to date iPhone and I get network connectivity like I’m in a rural suburb.
If you and your partner/family are looking to try somewhere new with good value then I highly recommend this place, also wish to add a great looking venue👌

Cafe Injoy accommodated us by reserving us a table outside (where we wanted). Food was very quick to come to the table (despite being busy) and was lovely. I observed tables being cleared quickly so that other patrons could use them. Staff were friendly. My friends' Master 3-year-old loved the play equipment and looking at the fish in the pond adjacent.

A. L.Cafè Injoy has decent food, decent portion sizes and lovely staff. Important to be aware they state they are open til 430pm, however after 330pm they won't make food or drinks beyond fries/wedges and coffee/milkshakes.
There is a small enclosed park for little children which is helpful for kids under 5ish.

J. R.They do good food, and it's in a good location. Lately I've been going to other cafes in the area because Injoy can be very busy, and the wait for meals sometimes too long, even if you're there early. Just a testament to what a mainstay they are. They also have kids meals that are a little pricier than others, probably because they're bigger serving sizes. Which is great for older kids, but makes it difficult to find something for a toddler to eat. Their outdoor kids play area needs a little TLC, too.

B.Always good when all day breakfast is available. Food was standard with large portions. Very popular on a Sunday. I had a 20 minute wait to order but food arrived fairly quickly. There is a small playground and a fish pond (fenced off) at the front; however the outdoor area is not fully fenced off from the car park which is not ideal for run-away children.
G. P.It's hard to find a cafe that can brew a good decaffeinated coffee but now I've found Cafe Injoy. I knew as soon as the waiter brought the coffee out that it was going to be top notch and it was. My husband had a caramel latte and was equally impressed! The only negative thing from the experience was that the venue is quite noisy if dining in.

The service seemed a bit slow but they were flat out. Only real gripe is the sound level. Busy time of day, around 11:30am, but the noise of the room just seemed to be bouncing and reverbing off the walls. Made it really hard to hear my friend's conversation. May have been better outside but seeing as we could hear the kids play area from inside, I somewhat doubt it 😕

J. F.Cafe Injoy was a family favourite of ours for years. A year or so ago it became a bit hit or miss both the food and service. I was in the neighborhood this weekend and stopped in for lunch. The coffee was good the food was a bit so so. Lots of children and a bit noisy. Overall a 2.5star experience.

For similar money that would order you a meal from Maccas, I got bacon and eggs so delicious and perfectly cooked that I craved them for the next 2 days. And that's saying something!

S. C.Hands down the best cafe in Canberra for classic Australian food. It's not a fancy or hipster place, with a very classic take on food and drinks. Has amazing burgers, super thick 'thick shakes' and the best chips in Canberra. Food comes out reasonably fast and there is a large number of seating options. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is that it always takes a long time to order your food due to the popularity of the cafe. They would benifit greatly from putting in a second register you can order at.

A. D.Amazing portions for what you pay for. This place should probably be your go to place if you're located in the Gungahlin area, it's worlds above every other place in Gungahlin in terms of food. Take a date here to impress them with what they can get for what they (or you) pay for. Their thickshakes are amazing as well. Huge seating area, so the chances of you getting a table without a booking are pretty great. They also do takeaway. You even have the option of calling the place, placing an order and picking it up. It IS busy though, so make sure, if you're calling ahead and placing an order, you give them at least 20 minutes to prepare your food for pickup.
