Recently work in city, DOP is my favourite place to grab coffee and breakfast now! EVERYTHING here is so delicious!! Highly recommend!

Went to Canberra for a short visit and came across this coffee shop which is near to the hotel we were staying. Saw a lot of offices working people buying coffee the next morning when we walked pass so, it probably a good one. Went to grab a flat white for missus and while we wait, we noticed indeed there are loads of people just came for their coffee and apparently they seems to know each and every customers too. Missus love it immediately on her first sip. The milk was so smooth and the coffee taste was speechless. They do serve amazingly good coffee to be honest.

So. If you check my other reviews, you're probably going to figure out that one thing I really like...is coffee. Good coffee. And good food - but i really dig a good coffee. Theres a few good places in town to get great coffee, but this is one of my favourites. The staff are passionate about what they do. This stems to the super tasty breakfast food, the awesome sweet snacks, the flaversome lunches and of course, great coffee! Do yourself a favour, have some french toast and a coffee to start your day. You won't regret it! *edit: just adding a photo of the new cannolis Dop are selling. So tasty!!

Great coffee and even better Egg, sausage and pepper roll. Food was fresh and made quickly. Special request of an unusual coffee style wasn't an issue either. The staff where very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Venue was quite upmarket, clean and tidy. Easy access from side street for fast food service. Definitely recommend popping in and giving them ago. If I'm in the area. I'd definitely be inclined to return.

Probably the best coffee in civic. The staff are pleasant and the service is FAST. Prices are well within reasonable expectations and the coffee tastes great. My only recommendation is to ask for an extra shot if you like it strong.

Ahhh the forgotten art of customer service, it's so rare in Canberra but it's right here. These guys nail it! Great coffee, delish foods and always up for a laugh. Fast coffee even when they have over 50 orders on the counter and it's perfect every time. A must for the inner city worker.

It has been a while since my last visit. The small nook got bigger. By the looks it kept its charming appeal and Joe is still the person that welcomes you, with a large smile, keeping his tradition of just nodding at you as he keeps tight track of his regulars daily habits. If you're on the run, you should add this to your route, but now you can get in, sit, relax and make a pit stop for refuel.
