This cafe is ONA coffee reseller. Coffee was fresh, tasty, and full of aromatic flavor in a flat white and latte. Good to stop by to have a joy of fresh morning tea break. Recommended

Good coffee (Ona), tasty food. The basic breakfast was... well... basic, but that's exactly what it was supposed to be. The service is quite fast.

Nice range of breakfast meal types and large servings. Especially the Big Breakfast. I've had avocado on toast, French toast, and healthy salad bowls, and have been satisfied every time. Also, a good range of milk alternatives.

I was genuinely ready to be underwhelmed with a basic bekky of 2 bits of toast, 2 eggs and 1 bit of bacon being 20 bucks, and was unable. It was 2 bits of very good bread. 2 immaculately poached eggs. 1 bit of thoroughly excellent bacon. Totally worth it and worth your time to try.

Firstly I’d just like to say a big thank you to Elemental for the exceptional service they provide day in and day out. Whether I am coming from a long training session or just heading in for my morning Chai. I am presented with nothing but beautiful smiles, amazing food and a great environment. My go to meal - of course The Eggs Benedict. Eggs are always poached to perfection. The lovely staff are always respectful to the adjustments to the meal when I order. I’ve been to elemental with my friends and family. As well as myself, they always only have good things to say. Every time we leave, we do it with a smile on our faces:). I definitely recommend to go here! Best in Braddon. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was good but service slow, despite the cafe not being full. They really struggled to keep on top of the takeaway coffee orders which impacted those dining in the cafe. Our coffee came out with our food and while the food was hot and good, the coffee was not hot and fairly average.

We went to Elemental on a Sunday morning for brunch. We were a large group of 9 including vegetarians. We ordered many different dishes. I had a vegetarian breakfast (Herbivore burger). The service was courteous. The food arrived in reasonable time. It was well presented and tasty. The only small improvement I would like in my dish is to have some sides. A small portion if anything. I think it will give more character to a good dish. Some of us didn’t get their coffees hot enough but this was fixed by the staff. Happy to recommend this place.

This place is amazing! It seems to be fairly busy (which is a good thing as the turnover means the food is always fresh). The moroccon Scotch fillet burger is very generous and the fillet steak is cooked between rare and medium rare - eat one slice of steak first. The herbivore burger is a stunner, the Halloumi is very pillowy and not as salty as most (the texture is almost like a medium firm tofu). The fries are so delish you don't need tomato sauce. The coffee was very good as well, and their machine and cleaning is very advanced

As a current man of leisure who's recently moved to Braddon from WA, I've had loads of time to get to know the Lonsdale coffee strip and Elemental is easily the best coffee on the street! In no particular order I've been to: -Barrio collective (two doors up) -Sonoma -Eighty/Twenty -Sweet Bones -Londsdale street roasters -Byron bay coffee (directly across the road) Elemental is easily the winner so far. Barrio collective is a close second, however you'll find that Elemental has a bigger space to sit down and generally chill out. I've had a couple of their pastries and sure they're fine, but really you should be going to Sonoma bakery for your pastries. That's not a criticism of Elemental - why should they be expected to compete with the best bakery in Canberra?? I've seen some reviews saying the staff at elemental are rude etc, but it's not my experience at all - I've been coming here daily

Fairly nice cafe food in a good area. I came here for a quick breakfast at about 8:30am in mid January. Unsurprisingly, it was fairly empty but I can't comment on what our would be like in a busier time of year. Service is ordered and prepaid at the counter. Menu is usually small but has all the things you'd normally expect for breakfast / brunch. Prices are a little on the high side but not unreasonable ($26 for a very substantial looking 'big breakfast'). Drinks came quickly and food came not too long later. I didn't order coffee so can't evaluate that. Eggs were cooked perfectly and proportions were pretty good too. The bacon was but too crispy for my liking and the bread, whilst very nice, was very thickly sliced but that can be put down to personal preference. Unfortunately, I found a hair (not mine) in my eggs and I noticed none of the kitchen staff were wearing hats or hairnets which was very disappointing. In summary, not a bad place but with so many options around probably not one I'd rush back to.

Ordered the Big Brekky and they delivered! It was massive and had everything I wanted and they even replaced the tomatoes with an extra hash brown. I wish my scrambled eggs were a bit fluffier, is that's all. But the others on our table seemed to love their food and coffee, which is fantastic.

***Revisited, from 1 star to 3. Updated review below*** Partner took me to this cafe convinced from the great reviews but the experience was not great at all. I got the Ham Benedict. Sauce was sour and the eggs hard. It wasn't just me, the person next to our table complained about their eggs. Partner got the French Toast which was swimming in maple syrup. Iced mocha wasn't very iced at all, it was warm, likely because they are relying on the ice cream to make it cold. Coffee was just OK. Staff wasn't very engaging, they seemed kinda over it? No welcome, no goodbyes. One girl was trying her best to stay positive, served with a smile but was treated badly by other staff. When my partner was trying to order the other staff member interrupted him to talk to the girl trying to take his order. The two things I can say that was positive was the wall mural (that was super pretty!), and the waitress who served us. She deserves better. -- Revisited Review: The customer service was 10x better then when we last came here. We were served by a man that seemed very involved in every area, I can only guess he was the owner. He seemed committed to making sure the wheels were turning. Round 2, Ham Benedict. Sauce was still a little sour, 1 egg was poached perfectly but the other was hard, but it was still a big improvement from the previous meal. Partner advised that they thoroughly enjoyed their meal, so all was well. Coffee was OK, smoothie was cold and tasted great. A lot has changed for the better since coming here, still needs a little more in terms of consistency, but it seems like it's well on its way to being a great cafe.

Intrigued initially by the cafes name Elemental. A friend and I decided to grab a quick drink here. We where both pleasurably surprised by the level of customer service skills shown by all staff. The perfectly brewed coffee and delicious smoothie. Unfortunately I didnt have the time or pleasure of experiencing the food here but hope to revisit again soon. I highly recommend dropping in and putting the Elemental to the test yourself.

This is a regular stop for me during the week, I love the hot chocolates but today my partner and I both had whole coffee beans in our hot chocolates. I am a barista myself and I’m very confused as to how that happened!!

I always order Chicken Caesar salad here and I thoroughly enjoy it. They are very generous with the chicken and bacon that comes with the salad. Today I ordered Spaghetti on English Muffin with scrambled eggs. the price on the menu shows $8.50 (Spag on English Muffin only) . With eggs, $11 (as per menu). However I was charged $16 because I was told the eggs are at 2.50 each and the meal will need 2 eggs (the cashier said it was computed as $11 + 5). The menu is confusing because it already states $11 with eggs option. I was in a rush so I just paid. Kindly update the menu with the right prices to avoid confusion. Thank you.

Delicious food (the big breakfast is so good, great for one very hungry person or to share between two people with less huge appetites). Coffee is wonderful, as is the chai latte. They do a phenomenal job with almond milk (MilkLab brand). Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Really nice cafe in Braddon. Coffee is by the local roaster ONA. A perfect latte with a delicious bowl of muesli and fruit. Staff were awesome and we kind enough to charge my iPhone for me. I will be back.
