If you’re on campus or around and need a quick, filling, and cheap bite, Fellows is the place to go. You seriously need to try this place out. The dinner and lunch options are always changing and so you can eat here everyday without getting bored. The price is also a steal for the quality and quantity of food you’re getting.
I haven’t had drinks here yet, but PARSA has had a few fun events in the courtyard.

Pretty tasty food, came here a couple of times. They have daily specials and I recommend the salmon steak on the normal menu.

A close proximity to graduate house and university house. Good fries (unfortunately I don't have pics) though it will be nice to have a larger portion.

They have very good coffee and decent beer, but sandwiches and food are average and imo overprized. Sandwiches are particularly small for the prize... Friday night it can be nice with all people from the university coming there for a drink, but also can quickly become too loud. Staff is friendly and helpful as long as you are dealing with regular staff members.

Used to work at ANU right next to Fellows so here goes:
bar great for after work civilised hangs (though no match to Badger & Co.) Friday pretzels are to die for. Great wine selection, ambience and customer service.
coffee is great too!
But lunchtime experience at the restaurant was largely disappointing. Lunch menu is over priced for the servings and only average in taste. They serve banh mis but everytime I tried them, the bread was stale and hard. Staff is absolutely lovely though.

Nice spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the campus. Has really well priced food and good variety. Plenty of home-style meals to warm you up on a typical canberra day. I had a lovely lasagne there served by happy, friendly staff who were on the ball and very efficient! Plenty of places to sit, and really nicely decorated, with special touches like little flowers on the tables. Really lovely atmosphere and an option to please anyone!

I had breakfast at Fellows with my daughter. There was a very good buffet. It was well stocked and had a wide variety of food. The atmosphere was relaxed. We'll be going back.

On a sunny summers evening there is no better place than Fellows Bar. Cool, lovely environment, great beers and wines. Recommended.

Food are a bit inconsistent but generally good. Specials are sometimes good, sometimes over priced. The serving portions are a bit inconsistent as well. Apart from that it's a lovely place.

Probably the best beer garden in Canberra. A lovely spot for after work drinks on a nice day. Unfortunately the bar isn't open most lunch times.

Nice bar/Cafe. Evening food selection and quality could be improved - particularly for vegetarians. Great bar serving a wide selection of wine, cocktails and beer.

I went for a young alumni event for ANU. 8 people showed up. In spite of that, the drinks were nice. They need stronger /colder AC inside. People drink. They get hot. It's a fact.

Okay uni pub. Great in summer time with the outdoor area. The outdoor area is also great for kids to cut loose in. Food is basic but fine for the price.

Good food and drinks. A good place to meet on a Friday. Parking is free and generally available.

Large venue, popular with students. It has an excellent outdoor area. Perfect for group of friends.

This venue can heartily afford to drift upmarket in its ambience and offerings, but its cosy, comfortable and, a little lazily familiar.

Nice food, a rotating salad and hot food offering, but coffee a bit hit and miss.

Pretty good for a bar on campus. Has more of a function/RSL feel to it though than the other bar on campus.

One of Canberra's hidden gems. Terrific friendly staff, good prices and simple and cheap food.

Pleasant oasis away from the centre of campus action. A bit old fashioned, but not for prices.

Nice place for a quiet house wine after 5pm when happy hour kicks in.

Often come here for a coffee and to study. Staff is always lovely and coffee is good.

Lovely spot for a drink. The Bentspoke on tap is to die for.

Quality music from John Sharp, yet horrible reception (maybe free wifi would be good).

The best place for deep thinking with a cup of latte.

Tricky review to write. Overall, Fellows Bar and Cafe has really gone downhill. The food remains good, and the atmosphere is still nice, but under new management it doesn't seem to know what it is trying to be. A cafe, a bar, a fully a la carte restaurant, or all three.
At the cafe side, the coffee is good, selected cakes are good and there are a nice range of places to sit.
The restaurant seems to be where things are most confused and the reason for 3 stars. Is it a bistro, is it a restaurant? Is it a sandwich bar? Is it a salad bar? No! It's everything all at the same time!
The main thing that drove me and colleagues to Fellows was the quality hot buffet space that has now been replaced by a pitiful sandwich Bar comprising primarily of a giant pile of shredded carrot.
Now they have removed the limited hot 'of the day' buffet (usually a pasta, a vegan and some other option) it is virtually empty at what should be peak times on a university campus. The sandwich bar drastically slows down customer service - leaving a slow moving line.
With the Kambri development there are newer and more interesting meeting places on Campus for lunch and sadly I doubt I'll return.
Photos taken at 12:45pm on a Thursday during semester.

(Translated) The restaurant is located next to a university hotel, the environment is of high-grade, the dishes are good, the quantity is super small, the taste is not good, the price is not high.
