Quite lovely place in a residential/office area. Has got a good solid selection of breakfast/ brunch options, with vegetarian choices too. Otherwise has got excellent coffee which seems to be favoured by a lot of the local workers with single origin choices. The staff are extremely friendly and service is swift.

Visited twice last weekend and was really pleased with the quality of food and coffee as well as the service from all staff we encountered. Loved the Little Bird take on Eggs Benedict - such a generous meal for $19. Got a great seat in the sun for Sunday brunch and it was a nice to have the option to eat outside on such a lovely day. Wouldn't hesitate to come back next time we're passing through Canberra.

What a pleasant surprise- great coffee and tasty chicken salad with Mediterranean spices at a late Saturday lunch / we then returned for a simple but yummy Sunday breakfast - 100% better than what was offered by a our hotel across the road. It's okay, the coffee isn't particularly consistent which is disappointing. They don't even know the difference between a latte and a flat white (FYI, it's not the glass). Everyone that queues for takeaway coffee stands inside and blocks access to the bar window seats. The Cafe should use the window next to the coffee machine the looks out to the outside. The lady on the till that takes coffee orders doesn't remember anyone's name, even if they go there every day. And she can be pretty crabby sometimes too, not a great first impression. Food is reasonably good though, but service can be slow.

The food is scrumptious, fresh and just keeps making me come back for more. You have to try their Ham and potatoes croquettes... Best breakfast around! Coffee is delicious. Only down side is that with all the hard walls it gets rather loud inside. When the weather warms up it will be nice to sit outside. Service is always with a smile. I am a regular here now. Good spot for coffee and brunch. Menu was interesting and had some items outside the normal. The food was delicious and coffee was great. There is also a nice outdoor area to enjoy the morning sun. Visited on a weekend and it was very pleasant.

The breakfast at Little Bird is spot on! My husband and I were so impressed with the quality. As a serious eggs Benedict fan, he could not have been happier with their version! The service could have been better, but it didn’t detract from our experience. Love the decor and feel of the establishment as well. Has some of the best salad dishes in Canberra - huge, fresh and generously packed with different flavours/textures. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating options. Although busy during week days, it is a great walk-in option for weekends when it is quieter.
