Great selection of coffee, and the food was good, can get busy at times particularly on the weekend. Not a massive selection of food, but what is on offer makes up for in quality. Generous serving size and great service to match. Industrial styling throughout, great ambience.

By far, our favourite cafe in Canberra for the past 6 years! Tasty & very reasonably priced food, great locally roasted coffee and ripper cafe vibes, topped off by the most enthusiastic and lovely staff we've ever come across in hospitality. We're leaving Canberra today and this place will be deadly missed by us. Thanks 7 LSR!

Wonderful place and a Canberra icon. Great service with wholesome food, prompt and table service. Music was probably slightly too loud and hard surfaces amplify background sounds so the acoustics could be better, it would be difficult to hold a comfortable conversation when busy (hard surfaces and poor acoustics seems to be a general cafe trend) but overall a great local Canberra icon.

Their coffee beans are fantastic. Ona are also exceptional but they’ve taken their costs to stupid levels. Lonsdale remains reasonable and so they’re the best bang for buck in the high end coffee market for Canberra. They’re my go to. Also, their flavours actually have distinct different profiles unlike many other coffee roasters.

One of the best coffee cafes and roasters in Canberra. They have a couple of cafes and also sell their coffee in other Cafes. I would go to them for great coffees (pandemic and crises proof),they sell coffee beans whole and can also grind it for you. Tip :if you buy a big coffee bag,better to get a sample tested if it fits your coffee machine

I really like this place. The decaf is great, I had two strong piccolos and both very consistent. Yummy food in the cabinet and a great menu. Go the pea melt! The cafe had a fun vibe feels like Melbourne, good music and decor. Some large communal tables or smaller ones.

The original! I've been getting espresso from LSR No7 whenever in Canberra for the best part of a decade. Benny is honestly a magician. They know their stuff and while the decor and setting won't be for everyones taste, it set the scene for what Braddon has become. Some of the reviews here are damning, and I know that some staff turnover over the years has hurt them, but honestly after at least 1000 coffees from here - it's still some of the best coffee I've ever had.

Food and coffee was good, the lady on the 2nd floor who attended to us was lovely. I would have given this place a 5 star if not for one of the guys(barista) downstairs that had no idea that we had our name listed upstairs and have been waiting outside for over half an hour for a table. As i was walking upstairs he told me the 2nd floor was closed. He could have asked me differently so as not to sound unaccomodating.

Spanish breakfast and big breakfast both lovely. Only negatives were having to ask for salt and pepper, milk for English breakfast tea and butter for toast. Not wildly unusual items but 🤷🏼‍♀️. Nice atmosphere upstairs but we were inexplicably sat 2 of us at a huge table in front of the toilet door despite others being available and subsequently filled with patrons. Coffee as you would imagine is excellent.

Yum coffee in a cute two story space. The upper level is large and spacious and has nice views of Lonsdale Street. Good place for a long catch up. Would love to see some more vegan options on the menu, particularly baked good and treats. Otherwise pretty good standard brunch fare with great coffee.

Good breakfast and coffee nice service. But one things I wanted to say. All the best tables were taking by people doing computer work paper work reading book. These people are using the best tables with window view and one parson using table for 6.

2019 update: it seems they are now using a different soy milk which leaves a very thick foam on top, which is pretty gross. Coffee still tastes good but a flat white shouldn't have a layer of foam. Coffee is good, service is friendly, they have some nice pastries and they fill my Keep Cup all the way to the top with coffee. I have no complaints. I have not tried the food other than pastries.

Great quirky shop with a cosy downstairs setting as well as a calm open upstairs area. It's quite versatile for larger groups. Relaxed couches and magazines are great. Had a burger which was excellent. The menu didn't say it came with chips which was a great surprise when it did. Artwork of the Ford Laser on the wall is really cool

Best coffee that I’ve had in Canberra! Really nice and cosy vibe inside with nice fit out. The service was great and all at good prices :) The food was amazing I tried the Spanish breakfast and the zucchini and halloumi fritters both were different to your standard offering and also tasted amazing! I love the ambience of this place. With the pink ropes and the mismatching furniture, it is both inviting and relaxed. Breakfast for two. Service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and the coffee was en-pointe. Sitting upstairs, grab the couches if you can!
