I ordered the hot chocolate and s'mores waffles, I was feeling like I could not have anything else after (in a very good way) Both things were amazing, I would highly recommend it to anyone with a very sweet tooth, might be too sweet for others

Good ambience. Great selection of beverages and ice cream options. Public parking nearby. Must try the heavenly hot chocolate. Very smooth and flavourful. Ice cream was a bit dry but tasty. All in all a wonderful experience did not know where my 45 minutes disappeared. Worth a try.

Looking for dessert place after dinner and drinks anted to give this a try. Nice presentation with friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The churros were baked not fried, and baked on preferring. It was 10 minutes wait but definitely worth it!

Staff are lovely, coffee is good but as any cafe in civic the wait time can be quite long for very simple orders. Ordered a mocha and somehow the choc on top was burnt and ruined most of the coffee

Great place if craving for a hot or cold chocolate drink. With choices from white, milk, dark or belgian chocolate that can also be mixed with your coffee. Deserts are available here as well!

Oliver Brown is one my family's favourite dessert places. Its Canberra Civic branch is warm and cosy, with the decor's earth tones and friendly staff just adding to the overall ambience. We like to order and share the banana caramel waffles and order our own individual drinks. Always a nice place for families to sit and chat after going around the shopping centre.

Great hot chocolate. There are a range of little cakes and sandwiches available. Plus some extra indulgent items. The strawberries and hot dipping chocolate are a good little desert option. Friendly staff. Indoor, outdoor and takeaway choices available.

Had a really lovely quick dessert here tonight. The staff (particularly the person in the orange skirt) were very friendly and accommodating- they provided extra cutlery without asking, as well as setting up an extra table when they didn’t have to. Certainly was appreciated, and the food was great too.

Coffee was really good, barista does their art well. The small choc buttons with it, set it off nicely. Seating is a bit sparse inside, so had to go out for a simple 2 person seat.

The 4 star is ONLY for the coffee, churros, lemonade and pastries. I would give 0-1 stars for the customer service. I have been there several times and always had a bad reception from the staff. They do not acknowledge your presence for 5-7 mins. They would be right there doing something else, but hey, at least say "I will be with you in a minute" or "thanks for waiting". No smile whatsoever and not a word of pleasantry.

Nice atmosphere, delish fruit waffles, awesome hot choc. The only issue really is the lack of space inside. If anyone is planning on going for dessert in the evening, theres a high chance you wont find a table. This is made worse in winter where no one wants to sit out side and everyone is cramped inside. However, so I would reccomend checking peak hours and going offpeak, or trying your bets when you get there.

Delicious hot chocolates and waffles. Better than their closest competitor, Max Brenner, in my opinion. Edit: Given the fact they're still standing and the aforementioned competitor went out of business I think speaks for itself.

Nice to come to for a coffee. You can sit at the bench and people watch while enjoying a heart shaped latte. Nice range of delicious choccies as well, and they even put a couple of buttons on your spoon to try with your coffee. Nice cosy atmosphere, with modern music playing in the background. Certainly not too loud that you couldn't have a conversation.

Is a convenient place to stop by for a coffee if you are around. Nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. Nice staff. But everything in the menu you can find it in other places for the same price or cheaper.

Oliver Brown is only best cafe in the civic. I have tried coffee at all best breakfast joints in the city however OB's Cappuccino with their belgium chocolate topping is incomparable. Here i always find perfect amalgamation of gourmet coffee and most courteous staff who always cater to special requests happily. Me and my friend Vijay come here 4 times a week for morning coffee after playing cricket and we were never disappointed. They are amazing. Thank you.

Oliver Brown is like a Max Brenner but much much better. The mochas are perfect and all the hot drinks can’t be beaten.

EDIT: Oliver Brown have now implemented a $10 minimum EFTPOS to bypass new laws regarding surcharges. In my opinion, best hot chocolate/mocha in Canberra! Manuka & City store, you can trust that you will get a quality drink every time. Service is always good.
