On Flinders is a nice place to go to, the food is hot, and tasted pretty good overall. However the food took quite a while to come out, and there were about 5 minute gaps between meals being drlivered. But overall the place is a nice place to go to for breakfast or brunch.

My family and I had a Friday dinner here and On Flinders dis not disappoint. A truly flavourful arrabiata--not too spicy, not too mild--for my wife and garlic bread that exploded with flavour were the star choices. I also had fish and chips that were made from scratch and just delightful. My two kids had the prawn and garlic pizzas, respectively, which they also enjoyed. Also had great service. Overall a good experience, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area.

We visited On Flinders on a Sunday and it wasn't so busy. We ordered the 'Naked Breakfast' and a custom toast with avocado and haloumi cheese. The overall experience was okay. The table that we had was wobbly that we had to fix ourselves, the coffee was not too bad and the food was good. It was a little bit surprising that the cafe didn't have much Covid guidelines in place, though. We had to ask for "where to check-in" as we dined in. The staff gave us a notebook that he had to get from the corner of the room, hidden behind a pot of basil which no one would even think of as a sign-in sheet.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. Short version: great food & coffee, friendly staff. Long version: First timers, arrived just before 11am on a Saturday. As we stand outside looking at the "Breakfast served until 11" menu, friendly waitress pops outside and assures us that they're happy to serve us. Once inside, coffees arrived quickly. The strong flat whites we had, using the Lonsdale Roasters blend, were punchy wothout being acidic. The smoked salmon brekky with the slow roasted tomatoes was picturesque! Eggs poached to perfection, like little comets. Our youngest daughter had her heart set on garlic pizza so, despite it being a little bit before official pizza time, the crew happily obliged. Pizza was fluffy, garlicky and gorgeous. Throughout the time we were there, the staff were upbeat, friendly in the way that only Italians can pull off sincerely, and eager to make our time enjoyable. Lovely to visit a place that clearly has a large crew of locals who are treated like family. We'll be back!

Sunday breakfast, The wait staff are friendly and attentive, though not all tables are set up. The pricing is very reasonable. Had a Flinders breakfast, which is bacon and eggs, I ordered tomato as a side, but this should be included with bacon and eggs. The food is well executed and the order comes without an excessive wait time. The coffee, while not terrible is Canberra standard and so not good enough to order a takeaway. All in all an excellent choice for a relaxed Sunday breakfast.

Was there on a Sunday morning ordering a takeaway coffee. Coffee was decent enough but took over 15 minutes, not many customers there but they were all wondering what was going on, were asking for menus and water. The staff were lost.

Best Pizza ever and large pasta portions. Visiting from Sydney, everyone told us On Flinders has the best Pizza. Spot on !!!!!. Even though there was a small wait tonight, we got complimentry coffee and garlic bread which was real nice of the staff and our kids thought a mistake was made with an adult size bolognese...but we was told kids eat like adults. very good pasta too! nan had the greek salad with grilled salmon steak which was to die for and pop had fish and chips. My gluten free Vegetarian pizza was good size and just wanted to say we will be back. 10/10. love the BYO. do highly recommend you book this place as you wont be dissapointed.

Great cafe. This was my first time and the food was delicious. Our group had pizza, fish & chips and lamb kebabs with lentil and red bean salad -we did not wait long for our food and it was delicious. Service team were so friendly and helpful. Will go back.

I really can only say this little Flinders cafe in Manuka exceeds all my expectations. The $10 dollar ice coffee thickshake 10 scoops is by far the best summer cooler drink I've had and my wife enjoyed the $10 coffee and egg and bacon roll combo. The staff really put in and looked after us and and were friendly as ever. 10 out of ten for service and best coffee ive had this week. really hits you to the bone.and good to meet local people here.. Wonderful...Wonderful little place! An old saying in cooking ' the simple things are the hardest to get right' but this place nailed it..! I had the crispy skin Salmon, and winter greens with twice cooked Kipfler potatoes...cooked perfect! Lovely atmosphere, and the waitress + chef are two of the nicest people you would meet...pizzas looked amazing...trying that on my next visit to Canberra...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

my children love On Flinders!!! we had the most beautiful scrambled eggs on Sonoma bread and the haloumi was grilled to perfection. my children had the pancakes and and dad had the eggs Benedict with mushrooms and spinach. it's great to see new foods on the menu as in the past there wasn't many options. mum had the protein bowl with kale and spinach smoked salmon and the granola with real Greek yoghurt was healthy and tasted nice with fresh seasonal fruit paw paw mango and nashi pear. Good to see journalist Laurie Oaks eating here...place has a good name and we will thoroughly recommend this place over and over. if visiting be sure that the coffee at this place is the best. vegan foods alot on the menu. This is not a bad place for breakfast in the heart of Canberra CBD. The service is consistently good, the food is tasty. Perfect on a sunny Saturday morning. Oh and the coffee is almost Melbourne standard ;-)

My favourite coffee stop in Canberra! I'm spoilt for choice in alternative milks, they offer soy, almond and lactose free! The staff are super friendly and helpful too! Protein balls are yummo! Very kid friendly environment too which makes it a great pit stop to recharge your energy while the kids happily drink their baby chinos!

Great coffee, pizza, grills and friendly staff. So far tried Francese, On Flinders, Arabica, Carne from pizzas and they're all brilliant fresh on the premises or re-heated at home. I'm yet to try other pizzas, but the crust is always nice - medium thickness and right bake. The grills also make a very healthy choice for lunch or dinner, with a combination of all delicious meat salad and rice.

Nice toppings. The bases are a bit limp for my taste - could be a bit crispier. Has the Gorgs (mozzarella, Gorgonzola, and rocket). It was tasty, but perhaps could do with something a bit extra, maybe some artichoke hearts.
