Best tasting yet affordable croissants. Consistently crispy and buttery! Coffee is also always consistent regardless of barista. Baking is delicious too and I’ve had great experiences with the take home packs. A great combination of affordable yet quality, tasty food. Not to mention the staff and Oscar himself are always so welcoming.

I ordered a ham and cheese croissant, last Sunday. The food was delicious and there was a really friendly young man with short hair who served it to me. Oscars is a great place and I recommend coming here in the future.

I have tried at least half the menu and have never had an item i didn't love. My personal favourites are the Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni, Spinach and Cheese rolls, Strawberry iced donuts, Banana Bread and Spinach and Feta Gozleme. The only item to date that hasn't been a 10/10 was the caramel slice because it didn't have any desiccated coconut in the base. The creamy chicken soup in winter was also amazing!! I hope the bake at home meal range continues to expand :))

Absolutely love this place!! My partner and I have been here many many times and will be back many many more - we've been using our daily hour outside to walk over and grab a bite to eat. It's kept us sane during lockdown 😅 The food is always amazing. Our favourites include their shakshuka, halloumi burger, spinach and feta roll and potato burek! Highly recommend taking some pastries or a lasagne home to cook as well

First time I went to Oscar's, I got a delicious home-made Banana bread, best I've ever gotten. Definitely recommend. The Sultan Borek is another one of their amazing food! I also got a home delivered Lentil & Mushroom Lasagne, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Oscar's to all. Super friendly people, decent bakery and cafe. Lovely!

I purchased their frozen beef lasagna and frozen vegie pide, wanting an alternative to take-out that I could just throw in the oven. The quality of both items was outstanding. Wonderful Mediterranean flavours and the pastry shell on the lasagna was a lovely twist. Also very reasonably priced!

Thank you Oscars for your delivery service of your amazing food. I get a home delivery about each two months, but when not in Covid I also call in at least once a week. Love all of your lasagnes, cannelloni and pastries and hummus. I live in Belconnen and it’s so easy to swing by and pick up some bake at home products. Each Friday morning on a big walk through UC I also call in to grab a yummy coffee. Love love your work.

Oscars Bakery is a great destination for university students as it is not only accessible to students on campus, but it also delivers consistently delicious meals. Fast wait times and great service make it a good spot to grab a coffee before class and catch up. Although, the menu is quite expensive across the board from my experience which is slightly inconvenient to the students already paying for accomodation. All around amazing place to visit!

Staff are always lovely. Coffee is solid too, better than Nomad. The rolls and wraps are great for what you pay for. Pizza's are not overloaded with toppings, but full of flavour. Hot chips with the home made aoli is the reason you should at least give Oscars a shot. I will say I miss the pides they used to make. Been a few years since they sold them.

The #1 bacon and egg roll in Canberra. Oscar (who is a great guy) LITERALLY bakes his own soft, fresh buns for his rolls and burgers each night. When you order, he fills them generously with freshly cooked bacon and eggs, and tops them off with his own house-made aioli. He also makes all the cakes and tarts here himself - unlike most cafes that buy them in from bulk bakeries.
