Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was just what I expected. The cheeseburger with the handmade burger was a combination of melted cheese, bacon and jalapenos with just the right amount of sauce. My colleagues and I will definitely make Pitch Black our new local. See you again

Very nice fish and chips, cheese burger, hot chocolate, and coffee. Fast friendly service. The interior needs some soft furnishings as it was a bit loud and echoey for intimate conversation.

Nice coffee. Vegan breakfast was nice, would be better marinated before cooking. Sausage roll good, spinach & ricotta roll good, better described as potato spinach roll tho. Lovely sunny aspect and sheltered from that nippy Canberra wind!!

My GOSH! I admit I didn't expect much but wow! Their food is a cut above the ones I've tried in other cafes in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Batemans Bay, Nowra, Lake Conjola and Huskisson. And I was surprised by how good the chips were! Perfectly fluffy on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside. Plus their coffee IS FANTASTIC! Bear and Beard by Se7en miles, so smooth and creamy and delicious with hints of hazelnut but mostly chocolate! Yum!

I go here here sometimes in the morning or the afternoon to get drinks for me and my family, and everytime I am more than happy. As soon as you order and just sit back and wait you feel comfortable. Watching the staff put everything together is like watching a family make breakfast on Christmas morning, except no ones fighting and everyones actually happy to be there together. The food is amazing and you can see how much thought is put into the meals, which you don’t generally get in places which serve good food. If you ever have the spare time you should pop by for a drink or a snack!

Enjoyed the chicken burger. Usually I get the eggs benedict and that's pretty good value for money. Coffee is really good and the staff are pleasant and friendly. Not a huge range on the menu but the quality and the existing selection makes up for it. I don't normally give full stars but there is nothing really I can think of that is obviously negative. So definitely a little gem in Weston Creek area to check out.

This is a handy local cafe with a brekky menu for all day dining. Limited toasted also available. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the staff are keen and attentive. I enjoyed their coffee and our group had a most enjoyable catch up. We noticed a number of other similar groups so it is certainly a popular spot for that, away from the hustle and bustle. We all got a car park, but there were limited numbers available because of the popularity of this cafe and the other shops.

I had breakfast here. The coffee was perfect and the food was 5 star. The chef came out to ask me how my meal was and the young girl that served me was delightful. Will definitely return for another yummy breakfast and to enjoy the friendly hospitality.

Katie makes really good coffee, had a nice consistency and the pour was 'just right'. To-die-for fresh muffins out of the oven - yum! So far once I had a chocolate one, and today was peanut butter. It's great sitting outside in the sun, with my puppy at my feet. Family friendly, lots of space, friendly service, I will be back!

In town to see the folks, didn't expect to find somewhere with healthy plant based options as I'd previously lived here for 20 years. Had the breakfast burrito and a coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Not on par with what I'm now used to in Melbourne, but definitely well priced and friendly service considering it was peak time of the week.

This little cafe is a bit of a surprise package. It is located in the Rivett Shops and apart from limited parking ( but there is always the nearby oval carpark) I can't fault the place. Great coffee, nice staff and a really good breakfast!
