Took a friend to dine at Trevs. Always an experience. Trev is often behind the scenes but he puts together the most amazing combinations of flavours. Tonight I had the Seasonal King Prawns. An absolute delight and gluten free to boot! My friend was equally impressed with the Chicken Scallapini. Honestly it’s always hard to know what to order. The lamb, beef and pork are equally divine. Did I say it’s my favourite restaurant?

Our table enjoyed dinner with every entree and mains on the menu and we were all Overcome with authentic freshness and terrific tastes on offer. The following day I had no nasal congestion or bloating (I suffer intolerance easily) and felt that this could only be due to the healthy ingredients and quality of the meals. Make sure you make a booking cause this place gets busy, but it's worth it because, FINALLY some choices on a breakfast menu! Why is it that every breakfast joint only gives you 3 options, Eggs, eggs on toast or eggs Benedict, WELL NOT ANYMORE Thanks to Trev's. Discovered Trevs through a quick Google search and upon arrival found a simple but welcoming vibe. Staff are wonderful at explaining the food and meeting the needs of a family. Of course that's reasonably easy to do. What's not easy is producing food of this quality. Trev clearly has chops as a chef and it shows. The Cigar special was excellent, only enhanced by the red wine reduction and the pizza was flawless. Not a single piece that wasn't devoured. Halloumi pops a great take on a way to eat Halloumi and the wine list while small is absolutely perfect for the venue. I simply can't fault them.

What a fabulous brunch! Bookings are recommended as this is a popular place. Decent coffee, gluten free options (I am not a fan of the soggy gf bread though) and a special tasting menu for brekky when you can’t choose. You can pick any three minis from an extensive list... quite the experience. Staff are super friendly and very patient while everyone is deciding. Check it out when you are in the neighbourhood next

We discovered Trevs by pure chance a few years ago and it's been our staple breakfast venue in Canberra ever since. We usually come up for Hot Air Balloon festival and enlighten and Skyfire if all the weekend align and Trevs is never far from our mind. The tasting board let's you try 3 items as well as the fruit juice of the day. I love their 🥚 and 🥓 roll. The crossants are small but very good as well.

I posted a review on The Fork about a recent dinner at Trev's, expressing my disappointment.v I also noted that previous experiences suggested I should try again. I am so pleased that I did. This time I went for brunch and it was perfect. The coffee came promptly, and was to my liking, one of the best I e had recently. My choice from the wide range of menu options was the platter of three choices. I ordered the potato cake with salmon and ricotta, the eggs Benedict with spinach and the corn fritter. Each was excellent. The platter is served with a juice of the day this time a freshly squeezed orange. The service was pleasant and efficient. What a delightful meal, and I'm so pleased to be able to be positive about one of my favourite places again.

Walked into this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The food was simple and delicious. Great service, warm ambience. We ordered the chicken pesto fettuccine (with mushroom and a hint of chilli), duke pizza and the semifreddo mascapone. Spot on with the flavors and generous potions as well. I actually went for the first time last night and had dinner inside and we had the nicest waiter as well. When we went to leave we were standing outside and the waiter came and brought us tea to keep us warm. If you're after amazing food and the best service you need to visit trevs! What an amazing find, this is truly a little gem of a cafe. We went there for a 1st wedding anniversary, not expecting much, just a nice lunch and were instead treated to beautiful food and great service. Dishes are generous in portion and come with a little twist in flare and ingredients. This is now one of our fave Canberra cafes. Do yourself a favor and try it. Make sure to get in before 1130 to try their taste collection.

I love this place. It's a great spot to have lunch if you need somewhere quiet for a business lunch. They are also welcoming to families with children. I like Trev's. Their largest size coffees have three shots, great to wake you up - getting these to take away is a regular for me. Some nice baked sweets, which I think they make in house? Love Trevs! Regular at this restaurant for brunch in particular. Ra (the Sun God) is a lovely waiter that keeps us coming back. The taste collective is now back after Covid! Woohoo. The beef special this week was absolutely incredible, one of the best meals i’ve eaten! we also got the duck and the chicken scallopini which was also delicious. for dessert we got the brownie, the tart and the crumble of the week which was a beautiful apple crumble, all of the desserts melted in our mouths and we’re delicious. Went there for a social gathering. More the company of meeting the crowd we were going to meet than the place tho - were new to Canberra and this was a different place to experience. Saying that, food was a little expensive. Our local down the road does HUGE breakfasts for $10.50 and here it felt..... less on the plate for $19.90. So tbh, I think we’ll stick to our local down the road in regards to a cheap _big_ meal. I felt, however, rushed to eat our meal as due to Covid there are bookings and time is apparently limited to a timeframe per booking/seating. I hate feeling rushed so I felt more like we were on a timer to do what we needed to do and be out in under that time. Reason for the drop in 2 stars, in part, was that feeling - but more so for the rating is because both the partner and I have had the trots since after breakfast. I usually cop this as I react to foods in some instances, but both of us - never. My partner has a way more durable stomach...... but, yeah it was after b’fast and it’s the only thing we’ve eaten today. Each to their own reviews. I’m not bagging the place, that was just my experience.

I really got a good initial vibe from this place. The waiter and service was great. The decor was nice. I loved the relaxed music they played, but unfortunately our meals lacked a good punch of flavour. The meals were all very well presented but the flavour was mild. I met a friend here for breakfast. We chose to sit outside as it was fairly busy inside. Setting is rather ordinary but the menu has lots of yummy choices and the staff are friendly. I had the Bennie's Bumnuts with smoked salmon which is essentially Eggs Benedict. It was quite good but the eggs were just a touch overcooked for me. My friend had French Toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup. She was very happy with her choice. The French toast was really thick and looked good. With 2 coffees the bill came to $21 each so quite reasonably priced. I would go back.

I am an almond milk drinker and Trev's does not offer almond milk, this was the case a few years ago with a lot of cafes but most cafes recognise that it is worth stocking almond milk.
