Had the best hot chocolate ever here. Really enjoyed watching this place grow. It's tucked away but that makes it even more special, definitely can enjoy taking my time here. Millie has always provided exceptional customer service, and I'll be coming back regularly!

Lovely cafe. The coffee is excellent as always. Very spoilt in Canberra for choice around coffee, but Two Before Ten do tend to stand out. We had the chicken burger and eggplant toastie. Both were pretty good. Wouldn't say their chips were the best, but good enough. The staff were really lovely. Even though it was busy, they were fairly relaxed, so you didn't feel like a bother. I hope the construction work across from them is finished soon, as it would be nice to have something better to look out on! But they make up for it with lots of lovely plants inside. Would go back.

Wonderful hidden cafe on the fringe of Canberra CBD, secreted in Hobart Place begins office buildings and construction. Lovely decor that strikes a nice balance between inform and outdoor, with the surrounding. Buildings protecting from the summer sun. Great coffee and a creative menu, with lovely staff.

Fantastic coffee! Forget the nearby over packed snob coffee joint. 2 before 10 is down to earth, friendly and cosy. Light streams in the glass frontage and warms the coldest winter day. Potato, beetroot cabbage rosti with poached eggs FTW.

I am in love, honestly! I went there for breakfast today and I wasn't dissapointed. Coffee is really good and the smashed beetroot was a dream. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is just awesome. Totally recommend this place!

Good coffee and friendly full table service, although queue up for takeaway can delay paying after having had table service. Bread comes from 3 Mills and is excellent. Don't bother with "espresso" butter if it costs extra.

Coffee was ok. Couldn't rate food as we came in near closing time and the kitchen was closed - no complaints there, although the chef coming out to eyeball us before deciding whether or not to stay back was a bit insulting tbh. Service *very* lacklustre; the only person on the floor was so involved in chatting with someone in the kitchen she didn't notice us for about five minutes after we came in, and then gave us about 25% of her attention. Which I guess is why she delivered menus when the kitchen had already closed... To be entirely fair they didn't charge us for the coffees and offered a limp apology, but it meant we wasted another 20 minutes before we could go somewhere that was still serving food. The new cafe is a beautiful space, but based on that one visit it's lost the professionalism that I associated with the old twoby.

This morning we held a small client meeting at Two Before Ten. It was great to see so many young professionals sitting outside and throughout the cafe - it certainly added life and vibrancy to the area. The coffee was great and the staff friendly. Look forward to having a chance to go back soon.

Near the 'original' Two Before Ten in the City, this light filled space provides a great place for a quick coffee before work, and tasty breakfast meeting spot after a ride or an innovative menu of local produce for lunch. There is outdoor seating facing into an courtyard (Hobart Place) away from traffic, and inside tables for one to many. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the chef does a great job of using seasonal produce in producing innovative specials on the blackboard, as well as the standard menu.
