I've come here a few times for coffee and food - really reliably great, and friendly, quick and helpful staff. They took the time to listen to my friend's dietary requirements and suggest options. Highly recommend the banana pancakes 👌

Unfortunately I was too excited to drink my coffee and only photographed it post quaffing! Make sure you check the specials menu. The other day I had a very filling Hash Brown Brekie, where instead of bread the eggs were served on hash browns with salmon and hollandaise sauce! Today I had a savoury mince breakfast. If you're are after a small breakfast the half breakfast is perfect. It's literally have a breakfast: one egg one piece of bread etcetera. The morale of the staff here is high and they are all friendly and efficient. It's a pleasure to see a place obviously run in a supportive and team oriented way. The Roma Bar is an iconic Darwin establishment. Midnight Oil even mention it in their song "Truganini". Make sure you ch eeck out the artwork around the place. I love this place and always feel happy after seeing the happy staff enjoying their work!

Brilliant Based on reviews and a local recommendation we ate at Roma Cafe. Surprised to say the least how good it was. Efficient but patient service catering for those who have fussy requirements such as us Food quality and presentation are very good and fresh and tasty This eatery is as good as any high end place in Melbourne and we were not expecting the quality we enjoyed. Darwin has quite a number of very good restaurants cafes and our experience at Roma was one of many

Really good coffee and ambience. A great spot to enjoy some dry season sun and conversation. Despite the location it wasn't ridiculously busy so we were able to hold a meeting with clients without any hassles. I haven't been here in years but it's definitely back on my radar now.

Used to be a great place to go with fab food it has deteriorated dramatically. Food is less than desirable and very poorly presented, often items paid for are never delivered. Hope it can regain its fab-ness.

The Roma Bar holds a special place for the people of Darwin. It boasts friendly service, delicious food and exemplary coffee. Located at the Eastern end of Cavenagh Street with both indoor and shaded outdoor seating, it provides a welcome haven for local lawyers, journalists, actors and eccentrics.
