A great liitle street cafe with stunning views from the foot of Mt Wellington in Hobart, Tas on Landsdowne Cres. Delicious berry and cream waffles and coffee. Well worth a visit. A good and pleasant atmosphere.

5 stars doesn't do this place justice! The breakfasts are amazing, and good value for money too. Coffee is good, as is the chai latte. The buttermilk hotcakes with bacon and grilled banana and the cornbread French toast with bacon and smoked maple syrup were both amazing.

On a friend's recommendation I popped to The Lansdowne for breakfast whilst visiting nipaluna. Delighted to work my way through the huevos rancheros and a long black and I couldn't fault either of them, or the service. Great way to start the day.

The banana and bacon waffle is awesome! It's pretty busy during brunch time and took a while for the food to come. But I am satisfied with the service!

We were driving around to get an obnoxious child to sleep and saw the cafe. There was a carpark right next to an outdoor table and we grabbed and sat there while she slept whilst being served by staff who were so friendly and happy. It made our day. I'm not a fan of public reviews unless they're positive so I had to do this one. Negative experiences should be directly expressed to owners.

Fabulous! Great location, easy parking and first class meals. I have usually always gone for Eggs Benedict but having my first visit to this cafe and after having the Green Machine Breakfast, I have now a new favourite cafe and a new favourite breakfast!! Suggestion: Always book, it's very popular!

My husband, pups and I have been going to Landsdowne consistently for a few years now. It is hands down our favourite cafe in Hobart! The coffee is delicious and we have sampled almost everything on the fresh, locally sourced and season inspired menu. The owner and staff are genuine, friendly people who love what they do. The always changing Saturday morning specials are our go-to. ❤️

Until this morning, I was yet to discover another barista that takes the time to measure each basket of grinds properly, and take that little bit extra time to craft a perfect cup of coffee. Very possibly my favourite Cafe in Tasmania. A pure example of a cute local cafe. The customer service is amazing and the food is generous and thought out. Cooked with soul and love, you’ll struggle to find something similar in Tasmania. It’s one of very few cafes that has a 100% strike rate when it comes to continuity, passion and pride. Very yummy but very slow service and they weren't busy. We had French toast served with pannacotta, poached pear & maple syrup to pour, pulled beef burger also excellent. Pity about the food taking nearly 35 min to arrive when 1/2 full.

The coffee is good, and Brioche French Toast is sublime. The Pork Slider was also very good, according to my lunch partner. The venue is small but perfectly formed, and if you need to sit outside, has crocheted afghans to take off any chill. Highly recommended.

The Lansdowne has been our regular and local for many years. Simon, Laura and their team are warm, personable and accommodating - whether it be squeezing you in on a busy day or tweaking the menu when you have a hangover and need that bacon and egg roll. It is super family friendly and often there are plenty of other young children around. They use quality ingredients, make solid yet creative meals, homebaked goods and arguably the best coffee around. It's not fancy nor pretentious and the barristas don't have attitude problems like many cafes do. As I said, have been going there for years and will be going there for many more to come.

Excellent breakfast or lunch cafe, run by lovely people. Always worth trying the items on the specials board but lots of good selections on the normal menu too. It's quite busy and small; maybe 8 tables inside and 3 outside so it's worth booking to ensure you get a seat.

A lovely little café, in the heart of suburbia, the Lansdowne offers excellent coffee and delicious food. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The menu options are not extensive, but cater for everyone, including those with special dietary requirements.
