Wow.... This is coffee Mecca and an institution in Hobart. The space the shop is in has been decorated with all things coffee and the barista clearly knew his stuff! I bought some beans from here and was seriously impressed when they offered to swap them if I didn't like them! Had two coffee's and loved the art work and flavour. A must do for anyone who appreciates a great brew!

Tucked down an alleyway, with limited street signage, this dimly lit, moody little Cafe is a hidden gem. Also the home to the coffee roasting arm that started Zimmah, the sound of freshly roasted beans being mixed in the next room, or the aroma wafting from the roaster, is as intoxicating as the smell of the beans being ground on demand and the fresh espresso being extracted by the beautiful Slayer Espresso machine. Here, coffee isn't just an art, it's a passionate obsession!

The experience was amazing great coffee and it's close to EC so it's good for a quick coffee at lunch. I went there with 4 friends and it was a little weird to have a table that sat four to only have three seats. There are tables with 4 and 6 seats so it's not a big deal. Love everything about it tho

Fantastic staff, interesting cafe, amazing range of blends and the coffee itself is awesome. Worth the trip out of the CBD and up the hill to North Hobart. What I love the most about Zimmah is the online ordering service I live remotely and their fast reliable delivery service means I can order beans one day and have amazing fresh beans delivered to my door the next day. They have the business smarts as well as the quality product. Have been drinking their coffee everyday for the last 4 years. Thanks Zimmah for providing a much needed service as well as awesome beans and a great cafe!

Hidden away in an unassuming location is arguably the best coffee in Hobart. Dark and funky interior with comfy chesterfield lounges and quirky decor, it really is the coffee that shines here. Talented baristas who know what they are doing. Be prepared to wait as there is often a queue of local workers waiting to grab their takeaway coffee.

Don't let the dark and dingy vibe of this place deter you, the coffee is freaking excellent. I live in Melbourne and am one of those annoying coffee snobs and Zimmah lives up! The soy latte was smooth and creamy and the batch brew was one of the best. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Hobart.
