Service was great. It was 15mins till kitchen closing but the waitress inquired on our behalf and we managed to find seating for our party of 10. Food was delicious. Ordered the Country Breakfast and Eggs Benedict. Good portion.

Vegan options galore, including pulled jackfruit, burgers, burritos & scrambled tofu. Post parkrun venue too so the omnis are looked after too. Quick friendly service, nice to have such a wide range in a country town

Very polite and helpful staff. Great range of vegan food. We ate outside in the 'quirky' courtyard. The food arrived promptly and was delicious, we weren't made to feel that we needed to leave quickly. I will definitely go back again.

I’m an absolute coffee nut and I’d have to say, they make best coffee in the whole of Victoria 👌🏼 The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Service with a smile and a genuine “how are you”! That simple little conversation could make the world of difference to someone’s day ❤️

My sister-in-law went in today for a dozen hot ones 15 mins before close after visiting our dear Mum at the cemetery. The staff prob just wanted to go home, but they did a fab job & we were so grateful.

Edit: Came again today at 1pm, busy, food was delicious, everyone was lovely, and even though they were under the pump our food came promptly! Amended to 4 stars Was excited to get a big vegan lunch with my partner. Rocked up at 1:30, sign outside says kitchen closes at 2 - fine, but went inside and was told kitchen is already closed.... so an hour and half before your listed closing time you are actually closed? Disappointed to say the least.

When ever I try a new food venue I review it by asking myself if there was anything the place could improve on. In the case of the Aspy- I would have to say Nothing. I honestly could not fault this place. From the moment you walk in, the welcome is warm and friendly to match the ambience of this grand building. Magnificent peaked roof with pine lined ceilings and roaring fire to relax by on a cold winter's day. The food has to be tasted to really be appreciated. The culinary delights produced by these chefs is second to none, and the coffee for mine, is also perrrrfect as well. So good to find a gem like this in the Macedon Ranges. Don't miss it.

Incredible tasting food for a low price!! We stopped off at this lovely little cafe on our way to Daylesford. The customer service was exceptional. They made every patron feel welcome and cared for within seconds of walking through the door. There are many choices from the simple yet classic menu, as well as the daily specials. having eaten here multiples times now, I can highly recommend most of the dishes on the menu. All dishes are fresh, cooked on the spot and have bursts of flavour. The whole dining experience was amazing!!! Could't fault it in any way!

After a morning running around a local farm a good substantial lunch was in order. A quick drive around the metropolis of Lancefield showed The Aspy to be a likely candidate. And so it turned out to be, for a nice relaxing, very late lunch. There was a small but diverse menu and the pie I chose had obviously been freshly baked in-house. It was a vegan asparagus and mushroom pie, accompanied by fresh salad, and was delicious:) My friend's pie was so delicious he got a second! Service was speedy and friendly. So if you are in Lancefield or just passing through I would recommend a stop here:).
