I love a strong latte and most time it's hard to get. But....here I found a really nice strong latte. Very relaxing place we even played chess. The young gentleman was very friendly. (It's good to see friendly service that's genuine 👌) I watched people come and go and this place has a community feel about it. If you are in Melbourne pop in worth it. Good job guys.

A very Relaxing and a homey cafe in a busy street of melbourne. Awesome customer service and have the best tasting filipino dish. When you're craving for a good coffee with tapsilog or tocilog breakfast. Go there and enjoy the food, you'll never regret it.

Good place for breakfast or lunch. They close around 4 pm. Had the burger which came with fries and hash browns accompanied by tomato sauce and mayonnaise. Friendly service. I always appreciate it when asked “how was your meal?” The answer was very good. Plan to come again.

Had a chicken burger takeaway, came with fries and two hashbrowns. The burger was really tasty with generous filling. It wasn't the sort of fried chicken burger that I was expecting, but it was still delicious. Fries were seasoned well. Staff was friendly and the service was good. 5 stars because I really can't think of a single thing wrong with it.

Love the food! Ordered their specials tocina and taho. And hubby ordered chili sausage.Definitely cannot fault it! Apart from the yummy taste, food was well presented. A big plus for us was staffs were very accommodating! Even helped us out with bub in the pram. Would definitely be coming back.

6/11/21 - we stumbled across this wonderful Basement Cafe gem by accident. What a treat! The staff could not be nicer, the food was scrumptious! Really affordable and generous size meals. The staff advised alternatives when mentioning foods I couldn't eat. Can't wait to return:).

Such a cool little place in the heart of CBD! Delicious and cheap coffee, lovely staff (super smiley Italian chef also doing some table service made my day!), free wifi, awesome location, superb decor... What else could you want?? Haven't tried their food but others seemed to enjoy it. Will be back for sure!

Best tea in the city! In a city obsessed with the next best coffee place this one’s for the tea drinkers out there. The peppermint tea was potent and felt like 10kgs of mint leaves squeezed in one bag. It kicked arse over the other mint teas I’ve tried. Apparently the coffee’s nice too. There’s nothing flash about this cafe but the kale and quinoa salad and pesto scrambled eggs were damn good and different from the usual eggs and hollandaise cafe offering
