oh yeah, the famous Morgan donuts. introduced by a friend so here we go. they have so much flavour to choose from, creme brûlée was so good, i would say the sweetness are perfect. a little bit crunch on the top. the bruno mars was a little bit too much, the filling is caramel which feel like too thick. the flavour was so good. yum~ would come back for some other flavour, they all look worth to try.

The MOST delicious doughnuts I have EVER eaten. Wow. Just wow. The creme brûlée doughnut is my absolute favourite, with actual creme brûlée filling and that delicious caramelised sugar crust, followed closely by the ‘cookie me crazy’ (with the lotus biscuit on top) - I could eat whole jars of that cookie filling. Needed a sweet treat and headed to @BistroMorgan and got the following: Creme Brulee - excellent representation of the French dessert. Light airy doughnut but heavy with the piped filling of vanilla creme patisserie which definitely had a vanilla flavour but wasn't very custardy like the dessert. The brulee on top of the doughnut was a perfect recreation, not too sweet but with that crunchy burnt caramel. Passionfruit Cream - yummy passonfruit cream on top, white chocolate and then a very well filled doughnut of passionfruit curd. While I definitely have a sweet tooth the curd is too sweet despite the passionfruit flavour. Two creative and innovative delicious doughnuts just needing a few tweaks to be fantastic. Delicious fresh donuts. Popped in for the creme brûlée donut and the glazed and confused. Both nice and fresh. I loved how full the creme brûlée donut was filled with custard. I would say id prefer a little more vanilla in the custard as it was a little lacking in flavour. Overall though, very enjoyable. Cookies look delicious, will have to try next time.

I love going to Bistro Morgan in Windsor. The cookies, scrolls and donuts are always freshly made, so tasty and there’s a huge selection. Don’t get me started on those amazing toasties… definitely worth the wait. My favourite is the godmother and chicken avocado so thick and the sourdough is buttery & crispy! The thickshakes and iced coffees are just amazing. Along with the cool staff and huge smile from Morgan himself, the hardest choice is what to choose!!!

Bistro Morgan have a great range of doughnuts and cookies. I ordered a chicken and avocado toastie. It was quite nice, The bread was crispy and thick with oozing gooey cheese. The chicken was nice but there was little to no avocado on the toastie. The Oreo thickshake was really good but wasn't thick enough. Overall a great little place!

Second time ordering from here. Food is really good but the service is terrible. First order was a completely wrong order but had my name on it. Thought I would order again because the food is great and I thought "what are the chances they'll mess up again?" Turns out highly likely. This time they forgot an item. I won't bother ordering anything again, not worth it. Even if the food is good. Update: Someone from bistro Morgan was in touch and explained that they are having an issue with their new systems. They apologised and were even kind enough to send out another order and even added an extra doughnut! They went out of their way to make up for the issue and it was unexpected and appreciated. Some of the best donuts I've ever had. The dough texture is soft, buttery, yet somehow fluffy and flakey? They are a good size- not too big that they make you feel sick. All the flavours are well thought out, are very well presented and are generously topped and/or filled. We had (from top left moving clockwise) Creme Brulee Vegan Apple Chai Bruno Mars Cookie Monster Kit Kat Gold Biscoff Biscoff and cookie monster were NEXT LEVEL. Highly highly recommend. The others were very good, but nothing in comparison. Overall the standard of donut though is very high, and I can't wait to go back and try more flavours. Cafe ambience and decor is also pleasant and staff are friendly.

My sister told me about Bistro Morgan while we were on our flight to Melbourne a few weeks ago. After looking them up I knew we had to make time to go and visit them. They have a lovely store with seating inside and out on the street. I believe they have other things for sale but as soon as you go in you can’t but help to go straight for the amazing looking doughnuts. We purchased a four pack as we were leaving the next day. I could have easily bought more. Our selection was the Gaytime, Toblerone, Creme Brûlée and a special edition White Chocolate Kinder Bueno Cheesecake. All were so good, really good, I keep thinking of them in my dreams. Great to see that the Bueno Cheesecake is now on the permanent menu. Change all your plans and go today.

We stumbled upon this place today and totally love the friendly vibe and of course the design of the cafe! We ordered the ham and cheese sourdough sandwich which was really good and had the cookie monster donut. However the star component of the donuts was the filling. They were very generous! With every bite, you get a thick layer of filling and you never feel short. The premise was clean, bright, and modern. The ambiance was very uplifting and cozy. The service was quick, and the staff were very attentive, hospitable, and friendly. I'm a major sweet tooth, and after seeing Morgan's work on socials I decided to give it a try, fully expecting unsatisfying stunt food, pretty branding, but no substance in the food. I was completely wrong, I tried my best to get a taste of everything and was massively impressed. The toastie was delicious! And very filling with thick fresh bread. The cookie was incredible, sickly sweet and still gooey in the centre. The cinnamon scroll was fresh and delish. But the show stopper here are the donuts. Yeah I only tried one. But it was the freshest, most overloaded treat I've ever had. I've chased the perfect donut place all over this town! This is the first one that was dense but fluffy, sweet and generously filled. Come for the donuts, stay for the toasties. The freshness stands out.

Personally I find many of these donuts a bit too sweet, with the sweet toppings as well as a very sweet filling and sugar on the outside of the donut, I felt slightly queasy after eating a half of two different ones. The Cookie Monster donut is delicious 😋 but I can probably just eat half. I’m giving them a 4 stars nonetheless because both times I’ve been the donuts have been very fresh (even after I took them home and ate them hours later) and the person who served us in the store was very pleasant and friendly. Going to try one of the more plain flavours next time.

My local on High St. Starting off as a bakehouse, Morgan has grown his business into some of the best toasties myself and any of my friends have had. Also does a mean decaf coffee which doesn't taste poor like some places. The doughnuts are next level, and whilst I'm not too much of a sweet tooth, I love indulging in them on the odd occasion. This place is exactly what melbourne is famous for. Gourmet doughnuts, made fresh every day. Finally stopped by after having known about this place for years and all I can say is WOW. Dough was absolutely fresh and soft, topping was warm and sticky and the filling was light and not over powering. As the donut is a decent size, you'd imagine it may be too rich and leave you feeling sick but it is the absolute opposite. Perfectly crafted. Will and have recommended this place to friends and family. A+ from my end. Also customer service was excellent and the lady at the counter answered all my questions and made me feel very welcome. THESE DONUTS ARE SIMPLY AMAZING. With the maker at just 16, it's a business with heaps more to offer in its future endeavors. It's been promoting positively by all kinds of food channels that make me more tempted to visit more often. I highly recommend their golden gaytime donut. A big thumb up to the 18yo boy Morgan who is able to pull off such a proper business! We went there on a quiet weekday arvo, the boy is working all by himself in the shop. Ordered way more than what two of us can finish just to trial. Funky donut presentation and the texture of the donut is spot on. The Nutella paste is silky smooth albeit a tad too sweet. But again it’s just my personal liking anyway. Overall, glad to support the driven and hard-working younger generation. Give it a try.

Happened to try the Gaytime Crunch at the little pop-up stall in Melbourne Central today after recognizing the syringes from my online searches for the best dessert places in Melbourne and with my 1st bite into this delectable donut i realised why they happened to be amongst the best. A hard chocolate shell covering a soft, flaky brioche bun with the little added syringe of salted caramel syrup to complete the whole package. Truly an experience to try for yourself.

I've had at least 100 Nutella Doughnuts from a 100 different places around Melbourne. And let me tell you, once you try their Nutella Doughnut you'll never want to go anywhere else than here. They are all great, don't get me wrong, but Nutella is down right my alley and Bistro Morgan one is without a doubt the best around.
