Of the five meals we ordered, two was great, the other three was very dissapointing. Covid plays a role, but when you go to a cafe you expect the food the match the price. This time around it was very dissapointing.

3.5 stars I got the 153 vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious! There were a few good vego options. The Cafe is quite overpriced and the drink sizes are underwhelming. It's a good cafe if you have the $$$ which is disappointing.

We ordered the specials on the day - Tacos and it was yum. Chicken and Veg burger were also really well made. Good service and ambience. Few things could be improved like the old bottles that the water is served in, could be replaced. Otherwise a great stomach filling experience!

It's my go-to for coffee when I visit from Melbourne. Always friendly service. I'm just disappointed they have been shut 4 days out of the week....during the busiest time of the year! Assuming staff shortages are responsible. Covid just keeps giving!!! Be kind to staff!!!

It was not bad but it was not great. It was very busy on a random Monday morning. The food was ok and the coffee was not good. Due to all of the people there was a bit of a wait particularly when ordering. The serving staff were friendly. Maybe it was just an off day but I did not return for breakfast during my trip after my experience.

Beautiful dinner we had that we came for 2 nights in a row while at apollo bay. The specials of the snapper fillet main was so good that we couldnt get enough of it. The fish flesh was so tender and beautifully flavoured, with the side of potatoes with a touch of saffron was one of the best fish dishes i have ever tasted. Kilpatrick oysters were also really great too, had to drink all that savoury gravy from the baked oysters, crisp bacon and worchestire sauce

We ordered 3 dishes. 2 of them were fine. I would not recommend pan cakes here. Good place on the corner. Food takes a while maybe because of tables are full. Please keep at least 20 minutes. Very close from the beach. Nice place. Staff is good. Would recommend outside sitting area.

I was looking for a breakfast but all the places were packed (week end) got kick to find a spot here. The food, coffee and service were quite good. The portion size was normal. Like all the places here it’s slightly overpriced (waffle, smoothie and latte for 25,5 aud) i guess you’re paying for the location and view, but remains affordable (see menu in my pics) Overall it was a good experience 😉

Great place to avoid tourists. Whereas other eateries seem packed with tourists it is clear that this is where the locals know you get great food. Make certain that you check the specials board as that is where the real treats are.

Oh! I loved this place. We had breakfast in the morning and big breakfast and the omelette both were amazing and I loved the coffee here. Bit expensive than usual cafes but really had flavour and was terrific.

Great food and friendly service with a smile. Especially enjoyed the Campos coffee and quality sourdough bread with berry jam. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Probably the most reasonable meal we've had in terms of expense on the Great Ocean Road so far. Despite being quite busy, I couldn't fault either the service or the time for the meals. Quiet a busy cafe on the main Apollo Bay Street facing the beach. The menu has really good options for breakfast and lunch. The Veggie burger we tried was really tasty. The Veggie breakfast was good as well. The staff is polite and helpful.

I visit this place almost every time I come to Apollo Bay, and it never ceases to charm me with it's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is lovely and the wait isn't too long.

This is a great place to stop along the Great Ocean Road as the food is very good quality. Everything we had was made fresh, you can tell when you bite into the muffin and when my dad ordered the jam donuts they were fresh too. Very good. I'm not a massive fan of illy coffee but one of the best cafes we stopped at in Victoria.

Good food & coffee, good size portions and excellent bacon & ham. Only misses out on 5 stars as is a little pricey and space is a little tight between inside tables and only has a single toilet. But I will be going back in the future.

A pretty average place for breakfast. Just kind of meh. It looks like they're always busy because of the tourist trade, but the breakfast is just a bit sad. You could easily make it at home and probably do a better job. Charging $4.5 for Heinz baked beans as a side made us giggle a bit. Average all round.

Perfectly acceptable meal, the friendly staff turned off the ceiling fan for us when we asked. I actually went in because the slow roasted goat pizza they were advertising during the week sounded awesome, but they'd obviously finished it all as it was no longer on the specials. But the Wagyu burger was pretty nice - a jalapeno relish as sauce is a nice change but raw onion has no place in a hamburger unless you're trying to emulate hungry jacks. My wife's slow roasted pork pot pie was really, really tasty. The kid's pizza was bland and uninteresting: perfect toddler food. Not the flashiest place in the world, but it was still quite nice.

We went here on Valentine's day for dinner. Exceptional duck and shiitake risotto, my partner had a great prawn linguine. Waitresses were great, they replaced what I thought was a slightly bad glass of wine with a better one, with no hassle or question. I'd go again.
