GREAT FOOD! I could give them 6 stars if extra star is available! Had steak & egg and also ham& egg with ciabatta. Steak was well cooked, juicy and was good combination with other ingredients; cheese, basil herb and sauce! It was so great. It was quickly served, cooked professional with even reasonable price. Lovely little cafe that was really busy but the service was great anyway and we got our coffees and breakfast quickly. Excellent cafe, with a good variety of breakfast and other food items. Located in the centre of werribee, makes it a very convenient location. A wonderful place for casual eating. Amazing staff, excellent service and priced well. Very clean place, staff makes sure that tables are clean and presentable. Although there is a lot of parking, but the peak times of werribee can make it sometimes difficult to find parking near the restaurant.

Great service . Awesome atmosphere . Was having high hopes as I previously visited 4 years ago, and was really great. Usually we have second coffee when we go out for breakfast after the meal, It wasn’t special enough to order twice. Milk was too hot, we had to wait for it to cool down so we can drink. Food wise, sausage was ordered as extra and was clearly cooked twice. Shame, cause it could have been a very tasty sausage. Eggs were perfect, sourdough was not great feel like a .50 cents. So thin and not as good as other sourdoughs. This may seem a bit negative but I know that previously they’ve been very good, hopefully it was just an off day.

Open nice and early with warm and welcoming service especially being out front with our dog! Got the Smashed Avocado, quite a large meal for one, could easily be shared with 2 (with an addition of extra bacon) Very nice simple Smashed avo dish, the tomatoes were beautiful and soft but gave a very strong salsa/pasta taste. Quite different to your usual breakfast Smashed avo but definitely worth a try! Eggs were cooked well, the feta was delicious with the cumin and other seeds on the side for you to add at your lesuire was a plus! 🥑🍳 I would rate the smashed avo a 8/10 ⭐ and would definitely come back again to this lovely adorable cafe!

Love the vibrant atmosphere and the food here! This is probably the busiest cafe on Watton's. If you prefer a quieter section for conversations on weekends, I'd recommend that you request a seat at the back area.

Thought we’d try this place out as it had very good reviews. Upon entering the cafe it was so packed which was a good sign. It’s a great setup! visited this cafe on a lovely Sunday morning with my 2 kids. First of all,place is always busy which is good because the cofee and food there is amazing and people are chatting and enjoying their mornings. Secondly portion is HUGE! price is cheaper compared with other cafes. We had to takeaway the chips cuz we can't finish the food. Thirdly the chips taste good and baked egg is so amazing!!

Best coffee in the west of Melb or at least in Werribee area! I go there often to have breakfast, the eggs are always cooked to perfection and their hollandaise sauce is just delish. Friendly staff/service and outside alfresco seating is a delight to sit and have your brekky in the middle of busy Watton St. 👍🏼

My husband and I have been going to Chatter Box Cafe for the past few years, sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for coffee and cake. We love the food and the friendly staff, and the excellent service they provide. In the past we tried several other cafes but always returned to Chatter Box and now we wouldn't go anywhere else. HEALTH ALERT WARNING. In this covid-19 environment I was astounded that my contact details were not taken for contact tracing. This is a state regulation and they took details from nobody in a busy environment. Service was very slow. Order taken 15 minutes after being seated. Food was good though the tomato relish was tasteless. The owner followed up on the above. I’m impressed. Moved from one star to three.

The food is fantastic - Hands down the best parmigiana I have had, the crumbing was excellent, they used a proper chicken breast and the sauces (Napoli, garlic butter and gravy) worked well in concert with each other. The service is excellent with attentive servers who are friendly and genuinely seem happy to be there. Have been a couple times now, would happily come back again!

My son’s favourite place for lunch. He always orders pancakes that he can’t finish. They’re awesome, he loves them but his eyes are bigger than his belly. My wife ordered a calamari which was nicely cooked but needed a salad. I think there’s a salad with that now. I had some chicken thing which I really enjoyed but the menu has changed now, so that’s no help. We’ll go back, and hopefully we won’t get one of those horrible wobbly tables that seem to be scattered around the place. Can’t eat when you have to chase the food around the table!

Service was good, staff were very friendly. Ordered the breakfast special (called "breaky" or something), cheese bagels with baked beans and bacon, and kid's chicken nuggets and chips. The food was nice with quite an interesting combination, however the kid's nuggets and chips was a bit of a disappointment. The taste was ok except there were way too much salt on it, needed to shake them off. The coffee were also nice, on the stronger side, unfortunately it didn't manage to wash off the salty taste.

On the plus side, they are accommodating to prams, however, they have a tiny toilet at the back with no where to change your little ones nappy.

Had a fantastic lunch at Chatterbox. I was on my way to the Great Ocean Road, and wanted to stop by Werribee to visit the safari zoo there. I was looking for a good place to have lunch, and found them on Google Map. The lunch was certainly not disappointing. Even though the cafe was packed, the staff were still polite, and found us a place to sit. The food service was a little slow (as you might expect if the place was pack), but when we eventually got our food, it was fantastic. We ordered Calamari (which was done to perfection and not greasy or over cooked) Teriyaki chicken, which was the best interpretation I have ever tried. And a fantastic Museli porridge. I would recommend Chatterbox Cafe anytime.

Had a very pleasant experience here for lunch. Went there for lunch and we were quickly put at a table. Ordered drinks and our meals and it took a while to be brought out (probably because it was Mothers Day and really busy). I had ordered a Parma and was not disappointed. Not only was the Parma pretty big, it was also really thick and delicious with chips and salad. One thing to note is that the place has changed a bit so the exterior is different and the menu is completely new. The one downside was the menu options. In the past there was a lot more variety and options but now there isnt as much. But the food is still great and all at an affordable price.

Booked a table for 6 . When we arrived someone else was sitting at the reserved table and we had to wait 10 minutes while it was cleared.Waitress asked if we would like coffees which we ordered. When they arrived they were luke warm. We had to ask four times for water. A couple of the waitresses do not know what their doing. Positive thing to come out of the experience meal was absolutely beautiful, although when you order wedges there is enough for 2 people, they need to make the size a little smaller. Otherwise I would recommend wholeheartly that you must visit.
