Quite surprised - had been so many years since I had been there and wasn’t aware of the upgrade. Was very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Good range of meals to chose from and my Pork Snitzels was as good as I’ve ever eaten. I will definitely be back and even took out a membership. - Don’t mind driving 25 minutes if the food is good and surroundings inviting.

My family and I visit the Craigieburn Sporting Club every so often with friends of ours who live nearby. We can thoroughly recommend it. We get together over a meal, which are always tasty and very reasonably priced. If you are passing the area, drop in for a meal, you will not be dissapointed.

Played nine holes of golf yesterday, on what I would describe as a very challenging golf course. Long par 4s are the challenge! Must hit long and straight.Greens are very well designed and manicured. The sports club caters for families,with bistro and children's play area . Also caters for the punter with tab, and has a good sized gaming room. Currently under renovation,so not quite a five star venue yet!. That golf course is the star attraction and hopefully will remain forever.

Absolute chaos is how id describe it - ordered there Thai Red Curry and it was more of an insipid stir fry with a couple of table spoons of sauce, staff were running around like crazy people and peoples orders were being missed. Cant complain about the bar staff, always have a smile and nothing is too much for them.

We booked table for 16 people and they placed u as on two separate tables when the restaurant was almost empty and had table set up to accommodate big groups like ours. They provided no logical explanation about it. Will not go again for Christmas family lunch. Food average. Service was good.

The renovations make for a more appealing aspect as you enter the venue. As for service, the staff were courteous however my meal a "Roast of the Day" was last to table despite being an early order at a table of 16. It was only og average standard and hardly worth the long wait! Won't hurry back!

First time visit on a Sunday morning. First impressions was that it was very quiet. No one to check us in/ register us. Long walk to the games area. Very quiet. Pleasant but wear and tear very obvious. Terrible terrible free coffee. I thin n you have to go through 4 doors to get to the toilet. Not suitable for ambulant person. There are toilets including disabled closer to the dining room. Bistro was vet quiet for lunch. Nice atmosphere but again the chairs and tables were showing alot of wear n tear. Meals are huge and senior meals available 7 days. Good variety on the menu. Drinks were well priced. This is a huge club undergoing further expansion. So strange to see so much of it empty. Will offer a lot to groups/ functions in the future.

I was a little dissapointed that there were only chips for vegan options and they could only offer a short black for coffee, as they don't have soy milk or other alternatives. The dining room area was also pretty basic. Though the staff were nice. I guess it's just your average little bistro.

We love the club and atmosphere. They don't profess to be a fine dining establishment but the meals are great value for what you get and generous portion sizes. We enjoy Parma Night, Steak Night and Buy One Get One for $5 night. Plenty of freebies for members is also a treat.

Played a round of golf and found it a challenging course. The sports club has a pleasant outlook over the putting green and 18th tee. Good variety of snacks and sandwiches etc. I partook in a free coffee from a machine that was almost barista quality. Pro shop had plenty to offer and reasonably priced green fees .

Great golf course. Very challenging greens with no bunkers. Only $10 for nine or eighteen-holes Mon-Fri. Do you reckon you can putt? These greens will challenge the best of putters. Give the Craigieburn public golf course a try... you won't be disappointed; just frustrated when your putting strokes add up. Enjoy!👍

Golf course is in great condition and people in the pro shop are super friendly. Love that you can go in and have a beer afterwards at either the club house or the sporting club. Prices are that good that I almost don’t want to go anywhere else. $10 through the week for unlimited holes, $15 on Weekends after 12pm for 18 holes or $27 otherwise. Love it.

The Sporting Club is a great place for families to enjoy dinner at the bistro. There is also pub meals available and on Thursday they do a $10 lunch which is fantastic value. You can play the pokies or bet on the horses. You can play goal or hold a private function here.
