Bought the beef & reef dinner voucher on Groupon and it was amazing value. There was way too much food for one person and I finished the meal feeling extremely full and satisfied. Great service as well - owner was very welcoming and the chef came out and asked everyone what they thought of the food. I’d happily go back and pay original price.

My partner and I came here last month and we’ll definitely be back again after lockdown. The best wrap and waffle ever! I do recommend Grocery Bar, it’s a worth visit. Super fast service, the waitress was really helpful and friendly. Coffee was beautiful, no wonder why they’re always busy👍

Tried Grocery Bar with a Groupon offer for the meat platter with wine. One of the best meals I've had out in years. The various meats were all perfectly cooked. Look forward to bringing a group of friends next time and they ought some of the other platters. The price is very reasonable. Staff are friendly and the owner takes pride in his kitchen.

I went in this morning for a coffee and the service was great. I went again for lunch and food was great. I give this place a thumb up. Great and fast service as well. Staff are friendly and price is affordable. Keep up the good work guys and stay safe. Will be back next time

You can usually tell how good a place is by the patrons. Today, a big breakfast at The Grocery Bar which was bubbling over with people. The queue was about five deep but my o see of eggs Benedict with ham and a hot chocolate was at my ‘table for one’ in under ten minutes. The serving was generous with two English muffins, cut in half so there was plenty to eat. Eggs cooked well and again a generous serving of ham. The patrons were varied - a mother with her toddler in a high chair, a family of 5, a couple, business attired people and an elderly woman doing the crossword. This is why I travel. This is what makes reviewing enjoyable. I get to watch how humans interact and sometimes I strike up a conversation with people who are often grateful for the chit chat. As I left I could see a line of coffee cups, both disposable but amusingly resueable, all in different shapes and sizes and colours. The word is out - reuseable cups! Staff were fabulous. Fast and efficient and all with a smile. Note: wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chair available. 🍽🍞 d e b i ☕️🥚

Had a great breakfast here this morning, I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon, I got a way bigger portion size than what I was expecting but everything tasted great! Lovely friendly staff who are super helpful especially during this strange time with different rules due to coronavirus. Coffee was also good, made my morning after a slow start to the day ☺️

I go here all the time for work lunches. There's always something new, but it's not the same without the specials board. They hire a lot of exchange students and the quality of the service varies a bit. The waitress we've had lately has been fantastic. I'm not a coffee drinker, but others tell me the coffee is quite good. For a fun eating challenge, order the chocolate megashake.

Excellent customer service here! Everyone here is super polite and efficient. Food is well made. Menu has a great variety of options my partner and I had the Spanish omelet and bacon and eggs, with a latte. All three were pretty good. Location is great as well. Quite, clean and shady - perfect for a warm summer day. :)

Recently had a 3 night stay in Melbourne and tried the Grocerybar for breakfast on the first morning. Loved it so much we didn't bother looking anywhere else and went back the next 2 mornings. Located in a quiet lane. A nice place to grab a meal. When I entered the place I was greated by a friendly staff member who was helpful when selecting a meal. The place serves good quality coffee and loved the muffin. The place ample indoor and outdoor service for a large crowd. The prices are reasonable for the food quantity when compared to other breakfast places. I really enjoyed the meal and I will defenity patronize this place. The place has a relaxing atmosphere where you can wind down and enjoy a meal or a drink.
