Enjoyed our meal, burgers had a lot of sauce which I really like! Very busy day so there was a wait for food but that was ok, kids explored the play area which is a little dated but still fun. Some of our meal items were forgotten and adjustments (e.g no onion on burger) forgotten but all in all a really friendly family atmosphere and very kind staff who did apologise for the busy day and errors.

Just moved to the area and this little Cafe is just across the basin from us, friendly staff and a very nice breakfast menu. Nice to see a place that does a good sized and tasty breakfast at a decent price, to few and far apart these days. This will be a regular for us.

Great food, great coffee and great service and now for the but... there is next to nothing in Tarneit. Tarneit as a suburb is garbage this cafe needs to move out from the land sales office. Grow up from little growling and be the big grown up cafe it knows it wants to be. Rent a real sized space, and expand. Events in this space are completely cramped in this space is far to small for this expanding suburb that currently has next to nothing to offer the residents. We want and need more.

I love this place. This is cosy and comfortable cafe . Their food and coffees are to die for. On my last visit had a Mumbai toaste, pancakes and the growling breakfast. Perfectly cook food presented beautifully. Would highly recommend this place. Must go in tarneit

This place is located within a lands sales centre and it may be hard to locate at first. But it was totally worth it. Definitely an amazing place to go for breakfast or brunch. Their toasties are amazing and so are the shakes. We tried the modern family toastie, chicken burger and salad. Their shoe string fries are also crispy and delish. Their rochers monster shake is really monstrous. They have an external kids play area and is family friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. They also offer catering and party/functions offering.

I attended an event for Little Growling's 3rd birthday celebration. It was well organised and featured their whole menu. I sampled a large range of dishes and they were absolutely delicious. The friendliness from the owner and rest of the team was very welcoming too. The offerings for children are an absolute stand out too. The playground outdoors is a large hit (and enclosed), but the cafe offerings are fantastic with a dedicated books and colouring station too. I absolutely highly recommend a visit to Little Growling Cafe. They tick all the boxes when dining out with friends or family.

Invited to breakfast, Little Growling cafe is a humble cafe with an amazing playground for children. The cafe is spacious, lit with lots of natural light and has indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is simple but done well. We tried a cheese toastie, avo smash and the growling breakfast. They couldn't do poached eggs on the day we visited so we were offered fried instead. Good alternative however one of the eggs was a tad over cooked (not a big thing). My daughter had a blast running and playing around the playground. Would definitely recommend this place if you have little ones.

Very happy with the delightful welcome upon my arrival from my bike ride by the Battista and he made a good, strong and hot latte. Good value with good service with an excellent playground. The north-east aspect of the windows looking out to the playground makes this place comfortable and charming. I will be come back here again.

A great cafe in a great area. Ordered the cheeseburger and a blue heaven milkshake both for a great price considering the quality of the two. There is nothing I can complain about the food or the customer service. However, there was one minor issue relating to the service of the food. Not everyone on my table received their food around the same time causing some to finish before others even got there food, but that may have been because it was peak hour. Other than that, the quality of the food and the customer service was outstanding! Definately recommend LGC.

Great place for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Went there during my morning bike ride with kids around the Davis Creek, and found this hidden gem. Now we are pretty regular at the groove park and this cafe. Highly recommended. The veggie king burger was probably the best veggie burger I ever had.

Nice little local cafe offering a simple burger based menu with some heathy options. We ordered a chicken and a cheese burger with fries. Burgers were excellent, well loaded, fresh ingredients and presented with individual baskets of near perfect fries. Prices were reasonable, café was clean and well laid out. This was the first venue that we viewed, and we left with such excitement knowing that it was the place that we wanted to celebrate our kids’ birthday at. From the beautiful decoration and attention to detail, to the kindness and amazing service, everything was just perfect! I live interstate & due to Covid & lockdown I could not travel to see my daughter for her birthday. I was trying to source a grazing style box to help make her birthday special The cafe was recommended & after checking out the website, I rang speaking with Dave. Such an easy process, I ended up ordering 2 boxes 1 for breakfast the 2nd for lunch. My daughter was thrilled with her surprise as was her husband who ended up also being home. There was more than ample food which by all reports was lovely. Thanks to the Little Growling Cafe for delivering what I had hoped for. When lockdown has finished & the borders open I'll be in to say thankyou in person 😀

Really lovely staff and kid friendly cafe. Two girlfriends and I took our kids, and unfortunately all were playing up but the staff never made us feel unwelcomed. They were great. We all ordered the chicken burger and fries which was a nice portion, enough for lunch. They have a kids menu too. There's a playground to keep the kids occupied. Nice quiet location.

Little Growling Cafe is a gem hidden amongst beautiful green landscapes, scenic beauty and fresh air! I come here whenever I want to get away from the noisy city. The cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere and the best coffee. It has a wonderful play area for the children. Great place to relax every evening after a busy day or on weekends. I specially recommend the muffins and any coffee to go with it. It will definitely put a smile on your face! This cafe hosts parties too!

Spacious enough for prams in the cafe ordering seating area and ambulant toilet, if need. Walk around to the entrance to the playground with excellent round netted swing and a flying fox swing. A few park bench seats, and shady trees, my baby and I enjoyed it. Colouring pencils and pictures for kids inside, there are activities for kids and yoga and outdoor exercise classes on the lawn. Nice place. Don't know about entrance to the twisty slides though, think it's through the estate sales centre locked doors? Great for kids and parents 👍

I was very surprised to find a cafe that is tucked away like a little oasis and has coffee of this quality that accompanies great food and service. I have had 4 coffees at LGC and the quality was consistent. It is easy to see that Adnan is passionate about his coffee and his food. He treats his coffee machine like a brand new Cadillac. It is very rare these days to find coffee that is of this quality and is exactly the same across all 3 cup sizes. The layout is great as it is set in the midst of a playground that is great for Mums, Dads and kids. I will definitely be back. Well done LGC.

The only drawback about this place is there are no ramps from the cafe to the playground for prams or wheelchairs so you're pretty much just stuck on the deck or inside, or having to leave your pram inside.

We dined at the cafe for a quick bite . Ordered the Portugese chicken burger and the mushroom toastie.Food came out fast, and I would say too fast, since the cheese in the toasties had not melted and it wasn't as crisp.The toastie also lacked seasoning which was a bummer given that it was filled well .The burger was nice .I would recommend to change the match stick style of chips since they go cold very quickly and also look cheap.With the venue being nice it just does not to well,but that's just a suggestion ,there was no problem with the chips .
