The only negative I have about this place is that I can't get there often enough as it's a long trip to the city. That makes me sad. Other than that, hands down the best coffee I've had in Melbourne. The staff are friendly and very efficient. I have only had one sweet item from their food selection but it was delicious and beautifully presented. Please don't change anything. You're perfect.

I went to Little Sparrow cafe today and as I was by myself it was hard to secure a table and order at the same time (as you need to order at the counter and I couldn't leave my bag by itself on the table). There was only one table left at the time too as it was very busy and not long after I went to order, the table was taken by a bigger group. The staff told me that there would be a table free in a moment, which I was grateful for (plus I totally understand that the cafe would make more off a larger group). I ordered and sat down, admiring everyone elses food, the dining experiences and the lovely cafe vibe. I then realised the staff are calling out my food because the team member that took my order hadn't asked if I was dining in or taking away, and so they packaged everything in plastic packaging for takeaway. I ended up leaving with my "takeaway" and finding somewhere else. All in all, the coffee is great, the food is great, the atmosphere is great. I personally enjoy sitting in a cafe alone, enjoying a nice coffee and breakfast to start my day and enjoying the cafe experience so I was a little disappointed and wish I had gone to a cafe where the staff give a little love. Especially in a city where cafe and coffee culture is so big.

It was out last day in Melbourne and since our flight was at night, we had at least half day to explore the CBD which I'd planned earlier. But luck wasn't on our side this time as it started to rain from the morning and it didn't stop when we finally headed to the airport to catch the flight. You can say that I didn't get to visit all the attractions in the CBD. We tried to venture out but ended up in shopping malls mostly, starting with Melbourne Central where I managed to get a Superdry jacket at discounted price (on sale). Then we stopped at Little Sparrow cafe to take a dose of caffeine while waiting for the rain to stop. Limited tables and chairs were available. We weren't that hungry but still the sight of chocolate brownie (I have weakness for chocolate) was too much to resist so I ordered one to be shared among 5... It's easier when everyone took a few bites. ◾chocolate brownie - love the distinctive chocolate taste without being too sweet. ◾ Cappuccino - a good brownie needs a good cup of coffee and it did a good job. We sat there for at least an hour and quickly left the mall once the rain slowed down a little.

The friendly staff and among them “James made coffees” stand out. Once you try coffee at this place, you will never go to other coffee places (like me).

I came by and had a especially well prepared flat white with outstanding foam art on it. I really appreciate the delicious G.F. caramel macadamia cheesecake. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it a lot after a nice afternoon shopping at central. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely staffs, glad they mentioned the membership card. Good saving nice rewards to coffee lovers. Cute bakery, super yummy coffee biscuits that come in 12 in a box next to cashier!!! (they may give it with ur coffee sometimes ;) if u r lucky like me haha) Never have to wait at long queue at Emporium and fight for seats too. Love this coffee place looks so much better than the previous business there, proper cafe instead quick coffee. Will recommend!

James , ADS ( mabager of little sparrow) Lucinda and the crew always very attentive to customers and giving excellent service . Even during peak hours they Manage to serve every customer’s need with lesser time . Best coffe place to hang out . I’m so glad I found good place for coffe and to hangout specially middle of the CBD .
