pretty cute little cafe, we’re here for a cuppa, before we heading to Melbourne. we was talking about what was this place before become a cafe. seem like a post office. love the tall ceiling. staff was pretty sweet and nice.

Lovely place. Great building and inside interior. Purchase the fried chicken burger and the yellow curry and both were amazing! Two of the best meals I’ve eaten out in a while. $22 and $20. Tad pricey on the burger but it was just delicious. Great cafe to stop by at in Yea.

Great Service with Fantastic Coffee. I have just eaten one of their Frozen Meal Options- Beef Lasagne. As far as taste it is Second to None (even my Home made Lasane does not come close)! I have included a pic as I feel it certainly looks the Part. Prices are very reasonable. This serve of Beef Lasagne cost $15.00 Suggests for Two. Looks to me like 3-4 Serves. Yum, Yum in my Tum, Tum😁! Just added a pic.of Osso Bocco. Another winner in the Frozen Take away Meal products! Yes...it was yum, yummy 😙! Seves 2; with a recommendation to add Mash Potatoes. I am watching my waste so I did not. Try it out and let us know how you go. Enjoy😋!

This was a terrific coffee stop on our driving trip. A whole cabinet of gluten free cakes, including the gorgeous peanut butter cookie. We enjoyed the crafts too, and I seen to now own a new tea cosy.

Quirky place, beautiful building with books inside and toys for the kids to play with. They sell lovely jams here as well. Friendly staff and quick service. Place is a little cold despite the wood fire however this is to be expected in the country and no different to the other cafes in the area. Only improvement sadly is the coffee. Very watered down. Cannot love this cafe enough. Beautiful fresh food and ability to take the furbabies? I'm sold! An amazing breakfast with fresh ingredients and nothing is to much to ask from the wait staff. Breakfasts here are such a wonderful treat would rather give 10 stars!!

I was travelling through Yea on my way to Wodonga for work and I came across Marmalades. This place was a little gem - the service was great, friendly and fast. I ordered a toasted chicken focaccia - pictured. The ingredients were fresh and balanced. Even the side of salad was a slightly tangy, flavorsom, well-balanced option. I'm easy going when it comes to my coffees, I often get a long black, to which many places make them too hot - I can't say that about Marmalades though. I honestly can't fault the place - thank you for a great time, great food and great coffee.

Discovered this eatery a few years ago and now always make a point of stopping for at least their great coffee. Meals are fab too and can be really enjoyed in the tranquillity of the atmospheric back yard, try an iced coffee in hot weather!

The warm welcome and excellent customer service was matched by delicious food served up very efficiently to our very hungry family group. We came unexpectedly and half an hour before closing time and were beautifully catered for. The menu included options suitable for vegans and those with food allergies, as well as meat lovers. This is the greatest cafe with the most amazing menu and food. If you are driving through Yea or even if you’re not and it takes you hours to drive there for lunch it’ll be absolutely worth it. Only a few things on the menu but all done to perfection. The service was impeccable and super friendly. I had a meal from the special board which was a yellow chicken curry and wowie it was top top notch. My partner had the fried chicken burger which was served with chips, both very crispy and very delicious. Could not recommend this place highly enough

What a wonderful place. I tried another place in Yea which promised great coffee but I was very disappointed. After a walk I found Marmalades and was very happy. Try the organic cinnamon fruit toast. I found it was so delicious. Thank you to Byron and Jane for such a delightful place.

Fantastic coffee! Welcoming space with a great selection of local produce, gifts, crafts and art. Spacious indoor seating area with very neat kids toy corner. If the weather allows, sit in the shaded rear courtyard next to the relaxing water fountain. Highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through Yea.

We stopped here for an early lunch on our way to Albury and were delighted by the warm service and delicious food. We ordered the slow cooked lamb on flatbread and the burger and both were delicious. The roasted eggplant and lamb were standouts, as was the burger pattie which tasted like it was most definitely made by hand. We bought some jam and gin salt from the little produce store at the back of the cafe. It's a great little shop for local gifts.

The slices are amazing! They taste so much better than they look- but they look pretty good too! Genuinely melt in your mouth flavour. We came back a second time today to try the raspberry apple crumble. Yesterday we had the vanilla raspberry slice. Highly recommend both. Their coffee is very decent too.

We love this cafe!! Awesome food, they have the best homemade pies and burgers going. The chips are to die for too :) The building is about 129 years old and is mostly in its original state, but preserved beautifully. Definitely worth the drive!!

Glad we made the stop in Yea and checked out Marmalades. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The beef burger was delicious. Tasted so fresh and the patty was thick. Chicken burger was a little plain though. Needs more kick. All their dessert looked amazing. But I settled on the sticky date and man was i happy. Easily one of the best sticky dates I've had. Give Yea a visit and check out this cute town.

Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Marmalades. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh! Highly recommend the pancakes but you may want to share as they're rich and filling! (but don't let that stop you 😉) It's the perfect weekend stop for some family time or a coffee with friends.

A friend and I went to Marmalades for lunch on Sunday. The place was buzzing. The food was excellent (Pumpkin with ginger soup, and Chicken & rocket focaccia) and the room was comfortable and warm with the fire-place going. There was lots to look at while waiting for our meals to arrive and so many things to buy. I couldn't help myself, just had to buy a couple of bags of home-made soap ($32 for 2 bags) while my friend couldn't resist the hand knitted beanie. ($22) The only reasons why I've given this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt that it was a bit pricey for a country town, and it also lost points because the staff weren't overly friendly. I couldn't get any of them to crack a smile and that's rare for me. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Would I go again? Yes. I'd give it another go.

Lovely country feeling cafe with a noice take if simple meals fot breakfast and lunch. Hot and cold drinks available with toilets intersting parents facilities. Parking here is usually pretty easy. The kitchen doesn't like alterations to the menu, which is fair enough, so as long as you know that it's good.

My most favourite cafe the town of Yea has to offer!! I really hope the new business owners can keep up with the high standard of quality!!! Firstly the building in which holds marmalades is an amazing historic Old World structure which is very quainte with moving ambianth originally what I believe was once a general store it stands since the 1880's lots of amazing old history! The cafe offers brilliant coffee and a light seasonal menu with gormet food opptions available for breakfast and lunch plus it's a many array of tasty treats a great selection of cakes slices and biscutes! With 2 main seating areas each room has its own fireplace for those colder days! It is also family friendly with toy corner for the children! The store also have a fantastic gift shop section with heaps of loaclly produced products for sale and handmade items not to mention lots of marmalade jam for sale top notch marmalade indeed! Outdoors around the back is a lovely grardened courtyard perfect to enjoy throughout the year! This cafe keeps on giving hosting a regular artshow in one of the back rooms adjoung onto the main building they happen all year long! Lastly the book selection they have to sell at marmalades is very special if your looking for a great new addition to your collection there is one for you here!!! The staff are excellent mite I mention! Perfect place to unwind
