Such a lovely space. The coffee and food is delightful. Fabulous staff and very quick. Definitely a spot to come back to.

This place is fine but they often close early, it's annoying to walk all the way there just to be greeted with a locked door and a shrug of the shoulders 30 mins before they say they close. It's happened more than once. Other than that the food is OK and the coffee is fine.

Great atmosphere and decent food at fairly reasonable prices, I have no complaints about Parkside at all. The sausage rolls are impeccable! Really moist inside and crisp on the outside, I definitely recommend!

These guys are legends! I live walking distance to Parkside, but on Friday I could not get there as I hurt my ankle and can’t walk. James & all took my order over the phone and delivered it home! And because it took longer than expected, they did not charge. So pleased to have you as my to-go cafe! Thank you!

Great coffee and simple but excellent menu. Much improved over the previous owners. Service is lovely. My only gripe is that the music is a little too loud to do my early morning preparation. Other than that, I think I will be a regular this year.

Family owned cafe and great staff behind the counter, food is simple but always fresh , appetising , hate these cafe that fuses too many ingredients in their food, but this cafe has the balance in their knowing what there here for ! (Their customer) . Good ambience, background music ( not too loud). , daily newspaper to read, great coffee, would recommend to anyone to stop in or take away.

Had smashed avo breakfast and coffee here on a Friday morning. Breakfast was nice with perfect poached eggs. Very filling Lovely attentive staff. The venue is a light filled room with lots of space.

A decent cafe with pretty good food but the coffee was served very hot (a travesty in Melbourne's latte market). The place had music pumping pretty loud so not the cosy, chilled out vibe one often (though not always) looks for in a cafe. Staff were nice but a display of rumballs that appeared to be free at the counter were NOT free at all (weirdly confusing and the staff sounded like they get asked a lot). Overall a good place to grab lunch, not so much for a meeting.

Lovely environment to be around in. We just grabbed a coffee here and enjoyed it for the limited time we were there. The downside, staff weren't attentative. We were the only people inside at 930 on a Saturday and staff are walking around the customers, being mostly ignored. 3 stars.

I went here had the magic mushrooms but swapped fried egg for poached and added a side of cured salmon. In my opinion the chef nailed it on every level, visually and flavour profile was the best start to the day, so good i went back the next day! Staff know what premium customer service is.

The only decent coffee on this stretch unless you go for a hike up Sydney Rd. Such a great spot. Cozy and clean inside with a bucket tonne of seating. Or grab a bite and coffee to take away and mince your way to the park across the road! Either way, you’ll enjoy very good coffee. And consistently good food served by friendly staff. No waiting around either. This place doesn’t get stupid busy. So bonus if you’re in a rush. If I’m in the area, I’ll be back!

Good coffee. Well thought out menu. Now open on the weekend! Large sunroom and outside seating in a pleasant garden. Perfectly positioned between Princess Park and Royal Park, and a stone's throw from Melbourne Zoo. Ideal spot to grab coffee or brunch after a run with the dog.
