This was such a fantastic find. The mushroom toastie was delicious plus. Coffee and service excellent as well. My husband had the scrambled egg roti which was also yum. Will Def come back next time in Melbourne.

I love this place. It was our old milk bar! Delicious food, good coffee and a lovely quiet spot.

Wonderful atmosphere in a beautiful Victorian style residential area. Seating both inside and outside along the quiet leafy streets. Delicious fresh food and the absolute best lemon tart I’ve ever had. The cafe is so stylish and the entire aesthetic is cohesive, with dark European finishes and retro signage. A cafe that is clearly curated with love, I will definitely be visiting again.

Very nice place for a sit down meal or a takeaway in a great place too. No real qualms with the place, it's not stand out and the service could have been a little faster. Semantics aside, it was a fine experience and I would absolutely recommend.

My favourite cafe in Melbourne. Relaxed feel. The food is amazing - the cook/chef is very talented and knows how to incorporate sophisticated textures and perfectly balanced flavours into simple, good food. I love this cafe!

Most mornings I like to start my day with a visit to Juliet and Fabio at the Parkville Store. It's not only for my superb Iced Latte and amazing Vegemite on toast (What type of bread is that Juliet?) It's the welcome chance to enjoy a gentle pause prior to the start of what is often a hectic day.
Friendly, thoughtful and sincere customer service, perhaps old fashioned values, but never out of place.

Really friendly staff and nice coffee. I've studied here for an hour and it is a great study spot. 4 out of 5 because the staff was so busy with all the take-away coffees, that it took them a while to notice me. I would have liked a second coffee as well, but it was hard to get their attention. No big problem though, it was fine anyway!

This is easily my favourite cafe in Melbourne. The food is fantastic. The cakes and scones are freshly baked and delicious. The menu frequently changes and it is in a lovely peaceful position.

I went here today with my partner and found Juliette’s assistant so pleasant and helpful. She was so attentive and made the experience much more enjoyable! Well done hiring her, Juliette!

Great little hole in the wall. Only had take out coffee, but the atmosphere was lovley and the coffee amazingly smooth. Soymilk was one dollar extra which I thought was too much as it is usually 50 cents. It's the only good coffee shop in that suburban pocket, and it seemed great. I'll try go back and sit in and eat something next time.

Found this little Gem restaurant, was feeling down while my son was at Royal Melbourne Hosp. Walked in with such warmth and beautiful service, which really cheered me up. The atmosphere was just lovely and the service was superb. Would recommend to my friends to visit this gorgeous, friendly old world restaurant. Not forgetting the lovely sandwich was great also. Thankyou 🥂

Great neighbour cafe in one of the hidden gem streets of Melbourne. Didn't eat but the coffee was decent if not great. Will be back for sure.

This is a little cafe in Parkville that you could quite easily miss if you weren't looking. The service here is excellent with staff remembering past orders after you have only been there 2 or 3 times. The coffee is of a very good quality and has quite a bold flavour.

Great little haven in the middle of a city environment. There's a quiet sense of peace when sitting outside in the sunshine, hidden away in a little pocket in Parkville where just a street back is bustling Royal Parade.
Service is great and food is delish with a home made feel to it.
Slightly pricey compared to surrounding competitors, which is why I don't rate it 5 star.
Great rendezvous place with old friends as you can hear each other talk

One only known the Parkville store through the pandemic, they've been great- highly compliant with wonderful coffee and fantastic pizza. I can't wait to come back in normal times.

Wonderful cafe with great food and great service. I recommend the Piccalilli toasted sandwich or for something sweet but not too sweet, the almond croissants are great also. The service is attentive and the vibe is very comfortable. They also sell The Age, so you can buy a paper and do the crossword over breakfast! Hard working owner and great staff, as a small business owner myself, it is great to see another owner/operator who loves what they do. We've actually rescheduled our weeks, so we can have breakfast at The Parkville Store every Thursday. Cheers!

Great Coffee. Extremely friendly service. Tasted about 4 different muffin varieties at the place and they're all to die for. Ask for the muffins to be heated and you won't be disappointed. :)

Just a minute's walk from Naughton's Pub (stop #12 on the #19 tram). A neighbourhood cafe on a quiet corner in a gorgeous setting- delicious coffee, amazing homemade cakes and pastries and thick, rib-sticking melted cheese sandwiches - doesn't get better than this.

I love the retro feel about this place. They still have mixed lollies which takes me back to my childhood. The baked goods are fresh & coffee is great too. Food for lunch was fresh & good size servings.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. Came here for a ham and cheese toastie and coffee with a lill dog in tow it was delicious. However the bill came to $16.50, which is quite pricey in my opinion and the only reason stars were docked.

Really good lunch cafe. Not many options around here, so expected them to be a bit lax but totally blown away by the food. Grilled ham and cheese possibly the best I've ever had. Lunch can be busy so book ahead or get takeaway

Good coffee and delicious lunches in a quiet side street of historical Parkville. Surrounded by a Victorian era street scape this is one of the most lovely parts of the suburb.

This place had very amazing food and amazing customer service. I would recommend this amazing little shop to anybody, because of there amazing food. The best food that i had was the ham cheese tomato toastie that was brought to me in under 1 minute.

A small cafe hiding in Parkville. The old school feel made me feel relaxed (not sure why though). A good place to escape from work during break and I like their omelette.

Just another trendy hipster cafe.
Ifg you dont consider your cafe trendy or hipster just change the style and decoration because that is what it is. Hint, you can start by removing the unnecessary annoying bike from the front. ;)

Nice place. Good coffee. Shaded outdoor area for eating. Good service
M. C.
Good atmosphere and staff.
Would give more stars but the coffee is often below Melbourne standards.

Typical Parkville. A small store with an unusual mix of products on sale and display. Unsalted butter, salami, goats cheese, muffins, pastries
