I have been stopping at this cafe for years and the food is lovely and simple. Parking is easy. First on the left over the bridge into Tooradin. Today I had the roast beef and gravy roll with salad and chips. Proper salad: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, celery, and beetroot! And not drowned in dressing! Lovely staff, clean, with clean restrooms around the back.

On a clear blue sky, over looking the river I had lunch outside in the sunshine. Even thou the cafe was short on staff the food was good and a recommendation as a pit stop on ones travel.

Two nice, beautiful women greeted into the restaurant, it was Covid times, hence lesser seats. Very big, cozy place, very helpful staff, the ambience outside the restaurant is awesome. Flathead and chips, burger were ordered, food was very decent. A definite stop for the mesmerizing views and a decent food.

Dropped in on our way down to Phillip island looking for a quick bite. Settled for a couple of espresso’s as they didn’t have turmeric. Tried the carrot cake and apple cake both were moist. Sat outside looking over the tooradin inlet. Overall good for a quick stop.

No nonsense down to earth cafe. Friendly staff. Food is basic and good with no gourmet frills. Large interior with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of tables which is good because on the weekend it is very busy. They serve roast of the day on a Sunday and one Sunday a month they have a local banjo trio (or quartet?) Play in the afternoon.

Rock steady cafe, good coffee and menu selection of usual cafe items. A lot of motorbike riders use this cafe as a starting point when they are heading east into the Gippsland area. Toilets and parking at the rear.
