My favourite place to get a morning coffee and quick bite to eat. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Not only are the staff super friendly and pleasant to speak with, but the quality of the coffees are second to none. This combined with the friendly and relaxing ambiance is why Schokolade is my go to coffee shop. If you haven't been already, I urge you to swing past and give this coffee shop a go! I'm confident Adrian and the team will exceed your expectations. Thanks again to the Schokolade team for all the wonderful coffees :) !

Today I enjoyed a lovely green smoothie with coconut water, coffee and a chocolate eclair to take home. I always feel very comfortable and welcome when I attend by myself or with someone else. I usually sit outdoors and am going to be a regular customer as I enjoy dining there.

This is a local cafe. Nothing fancy. Known for its hot chocolate. Tried the dark chocolate and it's good. The matcha latte I ordered was a little too sweet. The servings are big. Couldn't finished the chilli scramble. Food wise, it just ok. Nothing to rave about.

Had one of the best Chai Lattes (spiced) at Schokolade yesterday! The sweetness was nicely balanced with the spices. The banana bread was good but a tad dry around the edges. The staff was really friendly too! Will definitely be back for the chai! 🙂

I went for a weekday lunch here, the staff is welcoming, warm and friendly. Grabbed a table outside being a beautiful warm sunny day in Melbourne and ambience was good. The menu is good for breakfast though but feel it needs a bit of thought for lunch and as per season. But hey, I know it's been a tough year so let's give it to them for now. Ordered a "Fish & chips" and a "Pasta Carbonara". Fish and chips was absolutely brilliant and I could come here just for that any day. Very crisp, great quality and freshness can be felt all through 👍 Pasta Carbonara was good too, but it was too cheesy for a warm day and a bit on blander side. I would definitely recommend making a different pasta for warmer months, like - Pasta Pomodori, or Chilli & Garlic pasta. All in all, a good spot for a nice relaxed brekkie or brunch.

Best coffee in the area I rate my coffee based on how clean the 'strong' coffee is, and I have lactose free. Beans are smooth, never burnt, milk is high grade, milk never scorched and is always perfectly balanced. Coffee a day for the last 2 years and it is bang on consistent.

Best coffee in the area, I have been picking up a coffee on my way to work for years and would not go anywhere else. Their takeaway service is fast and efficient. . Hats off to the owner and staff for keeping going through difficult times in 2020 and now during Melbourne’s 4th lockdown.

I must say the staff are who sell this place. I've had the chef bring out the meal before and ask how it was (which is fantastic to give compliments directly to the chef) as well as the owner getting hands on. The coffees are great, and food is also delicious. Unfortunately however, twice now I've had the big breakfast with poached eggs and they just can't seem to hit the nail on the head. Both times one egg was perfectly runny, whereas the second was solid. Is that a make or breaker? No, but it is a bit disappointing. The other thing that strikes me as odd is that it's the only major cafe on the strip, but it doesn't open on a Sunday. Maybe there isn't much demand, but it forces me to go elsewhere. All in all though, worth a visit!

Had brunch, coffee & cake today. Scrambled eggs with avo was good, my friend had the Benedict which went down without complaint. Coffee was excellent, as was the service. Cake selection a little on the usual commercial side, but I still managed to enjoy the Rocky Road.

Popped in here for a quiet coffee. Excellent latte with friendly efficient service. Glad to find the background music wasn't too loud, but the noise level did rise as it filled up. Black and white decor not to my taste but still stylish.
