Comments of South of Johnston
A. F.
Fabulous brunch cafe. I took the tram out on a Friday and they were very accommodating. The food was creative and well prepared with lots of interesting options. Coffee was solid and fresh juice was welcome. It has a warm, fancy vibe with generous indoor and outdoor seating which is pleasant as it’s surprisingly quite there. Defiantly recommend to try for a change from Brunswick or Smith street crowds.

Say hi to frozen salmon.
environment :good 🌟🌟🌟🌟
service:good 🌟🌟🌟🌟
food:overpriced 🌟🌟
1) The salmon skin is crispy. BUT i can taste it is frozen salmon and not fresh at all.
2) I do understand potato salad is cold. But I cannot understand why some of the cubes are cold while the others are warm. Or for single cube, the half is cold while the other half is warm.
3) the Beans tastes like frozen as well.
Hope you guys find a good food supplier

Nice selection of seating available. Nice couch area with fireplace looks inviting for a cold winters day. Shaded open courtyard seating feels lovely and cosy. Good was yummy, though, the sourdough was a bit dry. Really accommodating for people with children as they have high chairs and readily cater to alterations to menu items. Coffee was nice and service was friendly and efficient. Will visit again.

Found this place looking for pancakes (hard to find actual pancakes these days) very delicious and fluffy. I really enjoyed this place, there was no wait and it was very spacious. Prices reasonable, considering I purchased 3 meals and 2 drinks. Lots of free parking around, going back to try the French toast, highly recommend!
K. A.
A friend told me to check out South if I wanted to have a good coffee. I only dropped in to rest my feet and have a quick pick me up coffee, so I cannot comment on the meals.
My long black was great. Nice layer of crema covering the surface with a rich full-bodied taste that was also smooth, with the right hint of slight bitter after taste.
The staff was super friendly and charming.
I.
Amazing atmosphere inside with lovely food! Ordered zucchini fritters and smashed avo toast, everything was very delicious! Highly recommend to visit!
M. B.
What a great cafe/restaurant! Excellent service and terrific menu. Lots of tables, lots of choice and the food was amazing. We had Sunday brekky and it was excellent and reasonably priced. This is my new favourite place in Melbourne to have brekky!
Y. W.
I came here for a lunch meeting and was impressed by the cafe decoration and the spaciousness.
The service was friendly and warm which added an extra point.
The Asian style chicken salad I ordered was amazing. I was expecting some ordinary chicken salad but this was quite special. The salad sauce which was a bit sweet and savoury complemented the vegetables very well.
I will definitely come back to try their other salad options!
H. M.
Had reserved 8+ people, all food came out at the same time, lovely service. Paid for a menu item + additional hash brown which i didn't receive but paid for.
B. T.
Overall it was a good experience. I went with a group of people. While everyone started eating their food I asked when my food was coming but the waitress was very polite and confirmed it was coming shortly and it did within a minute. I had the vegan mushrooms on toast which was nice but found the bread a bit too crispy, hard to cut. My friends enjoyed their food too. I recommend this place, it has a nice atmosphere. You should try it too.
J. L.
Great dog friendly cafe with lovely staff! Fitted with both courtyard and indoor area with blankets for both humans and dogs for those not so sunny days! This cafe serves delicious food and has a great atmosphere!
C. H.
Every now and the we tumble into a nice place and this is exceptional. That fire place just what you needed to warm the Melbourne cold and that cup of chai is just the thing soothe your soul.
J. M.
Literally drove by whilst looking for a cafe and so happy to have found this beautiful space! The sun was shining and the outdoor area was lovely and dog friendly! There were even dog blankets, bowls and a cubby house for the fur babies! The chai and brownie I ordered was exactly what I needed and delicious! This cafe also has a few seating areas that can accommodate bigger parties and I love that there was also cosy couches by the fire too! The bathrooms were clean and a nice lux touch to it! Loved all the artwork on display and art installations around the cafe and if you have the time, there are plenty of coffee table books provided. Service was prompt and friendly. Finding a park was easy at $4 per hour! But this cafe was well worth the visit! Will be back!
A. C.
A great find, a bit more hidden away than the rest of the cafes in the region. Really friendly staff and excellent service. The venue itself has a nice fitout with old kitchen tools on the wall and comfortable furnishings. The food is very tasty (we had chili scrambled eggs and the smashed avo). Coffee was also very nice. We will be back!
J. L.
Word has obviously travelled about how good this place is, as every space is filled with people eating or people waiting to eat. A friendly guy at the door said the wait will be about 10 minutes and suggested I take a seat in the lounge area and peruse the menu. 20 minutes later, I was told my table is ready but whoops, there was no table and I lost my seat in the lounge. Soon after I was seated and they quickly took my order.
The Roasted Mushrooms were amazing! With pumpkin hummus, cashew cheese, crispy kale and dukkah on toast, this was such a taste sensation. The hummus and cashew cheese were so creamy. Every ingredient complemented the others in texture and taste.
I was almost at the end of my meal but the mango lassi had not yet arrived. I made eye contact with the waitress and to ask for it be cancelled but she quickly asked somebody to check on the drink. Minutes later it appeared. It was refreshing and delicious.
An airy, modern setting absolutely crammed for Sunday brunch with smiling and friendly staff throughout. I would have rated this place higher but for the couple of little misses in the service. Still, it's a place worth checking out if you don't mind the wait.
서.
If you haven't been here, you can't say you have been to Fitzroy. I think this place is overwhelmingly the best among the cafes in Fitzroy. 4 cups of coffee with french fries is perfect harmony. Gurantee
M. K.
Pretty cafe with amazing breakfast menu. I had crushed peas with ricotta, prosciutto, poached eggs and will come back to try the other dishes.
N. N.
My new spot for breakfast and coffee, staffs are friendly with good service 👍 love the purple colors of coffee machine 😆
R. W.
Very popular place for weekend brunch, you may be waiting a while for a table. But for good reason because the food tastes especially good here. Their signature chai latte has a good level of spice and chilli scrambled eggs are nicely cooked with plenty of chilli. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t so busy and we had to wait a while for our orders to arrive.
K. Z.
I was there with my friend in the afternoon, the food is so great, and ice chai with ice cream soooooo nice
M. A.
Venue was so packed when we arrived with 2 little ones. We really appreciated that the staff took such attentive care of us despite how busy they were. Meals and coffees were sumptuous.
R. M.
We ordered the GF sweet pear brioche, corn fritters with mushrooms and a berry lassi.
Good size meals, very well presented and quick service. The place is very nice and in busier times it has beautiful fire place to wait by before you’re seated.
My only criticism would be the staff, but that’s being very picky as they were just not as friendly as I would have liked.
I would come back for sure though and we really enjoying our brunch
J. M.
Best cafe in the inner north, period! Service is absolutely amazing, genuine and the staff are super lovely. I have come for breakfast 4-5 times now and it never lets down, the chorizo is absolutely insane !!
T. T.
Absolutely love this cafe! Good choice of food. I particularly like the decoration. Nice little corners everywhere which show a great attention to details by the owners!
M. M.
Loved it, seating outside, under shade, service was quick and personal,, the food and coffees excellent, yummm. We'll be back.. thank you...
J.
I'm immediately immersed with the beautiful candle aromatics and beautiful decor. We sat down and I ordered the daily special of pulled pork eggs Benedict with celeriac remoulade, it was pretty good.
K. P.
Good good and good service. The corn fritters are amazing. Sufficient vegetarian options! Amazing coffee. Only drawback, it is not near major attractions in town.
V. Z.
Can’t believe it’s my very first time here. Very good brunch and food taste super delicious. Would definitely come back again
K. Y. L. C.
Came here for coffee after lunch. Good coffee, balanced taste with nice latte art served with beautiful china. The decor of the cafe is good but not the best. Didn't try their food.
a. b.
Really friendly staff. Great coffee and possibly the best menu in Collingwood. Big call but try it!! Also great cakes. Flourless orange cake is a winner!!
C. t.
Very good coffee such an amazing place very beautiful inside and great food and dog friendly very happy with the customer service and the food provided in this place
S. A.
Really precious cozy spot to grab a coffee and some lunch! Sit by the fireplace on a comfy couch and get a brief respite from Collingwood/Fitzroy shopping!
J. R.
Fantastic venue for a private function. Service excellent. Food was excellent
M. E.
Amazing coffee and even better food. Warm and comfortable atmosphere for either a meal or waiting for take-away.
J. T.
I love this cafe! It is welcoming and warm. The decor is on point and the staff are great. My go to is always the smashed avocado but everything is delicious. The pancakes are also divine! Great coffee which is a must! Highly recommended.
J. S.
Great local cafe
Aweaome pieces and good serving, recommended place for a bite.
B. B.
Excellent cafe with great service and food. I went at lunchtime on a Wednesday and the place was buzzing. Served quickly and food was delicious! Highly recommended.
S. S.
Love this place! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, cheery and friendly greeting. Customer service was fabulous and food was fantastic. The wife and I had the two specials for the day the ‘omelette’ and ‘risotto’.
Call out to the two guys who served us! Loved your personality and attitude. Really added to the great atmosphere.
K. T.
Ordered the roast mushrooms, accompanied with feta cheese and beetroot. The mushrooms were remarkably juicy and went well with the cheese and toast. Would definitely return for other items on the menu.
The place offers a variety of seating options and light settings.
V. T.
This place is pretty good, had th chilli eggs and they are amazing. Came here on a rainy Saturday morning (8.30am) and it wasn't to busy but I can imagine it filling up for sure. Theres also a little fire place to chill around as well.
D. N.
Quality. Order the fritters. Best in Melbourne
T. O.
Fav breaky place in the inner north. Beautiful honey vibe with great staff and food 👌
N. H.
South of Johnston has great atmosphere, coffee and food. The omelette is highly recommended!
T. O.
Good food and very friendly atmosphere.
V. M.
I would rate this place more stars if I could.
We came for lunch with my 7 month old whippet, and they found the most comfortable place to seat us and keep us warm in an outdoor covered area. Food wise, we all ordered the B. L. A. T and spoke with our mouths full to let each other know how good it was. Also, the best cappuccino I've had. Thank you!!
A. B.
Amazing food (had the risotto) but the coffee was a bit average. Friendly staff. Very busy but they managed to seat us fairly quickly.
M. A. P.
Only went for coffee but lovely attention. Next time I will go for brunch.
ピ.
coffee is good.stake sandwich and Avocado smash were stunning!Atmosphere is wonderful
M. H.
Good food and great atmosphere
M. M.
Great food, trendy look and amazing service
M. Z.
I love this nice, cute and lovely place! ❤

Superb cafe. Very popular with a large regular clientele.(2020)
Back again after far too long due to the pandemic. Still a great and friendly experience (2022)
C. H.
Nice coffee, nice staff. Really busy so be prepared to wait.
P. M.
Update: Still one of the best cafes in Melbourne. Great Menu. Great service. Great vibe. Beautiful decor. Fantastic place to meet friends, read a book, or have a Sunday morning Mimosa. Seriously great .
One of my favourite Melbourne cafes. Unpretentious vibe with amazing coffee, food and decor.
P. S.
Had a wonderful dinner at the new Dark SoJo at South of Johnston last week. We were so impressed with the amazing new interior and the new night time menu is so delicious and extra great for us as we prefer less meat options.
Can’t wait to be back soon.
Congratulations to all involved, especially Stuart and his team.
C. M.
Spacious place for brunch with an indoor dog corner for your pooch if it's raining or cold! The servings are large and good value for money. We tried the smashed avo, chicken schnitzel wrap and beef burgers. All dishes were good
P.
Wonderful ambience professional staff and great food
M. Y.
Great great spot. Good is always spot on, coffee is terrific and lovely and cosy in winter (especially if you grab a spot by the fire). Amazing staff.
N. B.
Lovely place, lovingly styled, v nice food
B. W.
Amazing brunch and lunch menu. I am thrilled its just around the corner from work so I can pop in all the time. The zucchini penne is the bomb!
J. F.
I've only had two dishes here, and both were excellent.
The Southern Style Baked Beans on sourdough toast w roasted corn salsa, jalapeno mayonnaise, tomato & crushed avocado is our favorite.
It's also vegan.
The corn fritters are also exceptional.
D. M.
Could spend hours here! The staff are so lovely. It’s busy but they somehow make it work
W. J.
Incredible fit out. Far and away the cosiest cafe in Melbourne. Food is fresh and interesting, healthy and accommodating to dietary/ethical requirements. Coffee is immaculate and the staff are lovely. I love to come here just to sit on their designer sofa by the fire.
A. C.
Amazing prompt and friendly service. The food (we went for breakfast/brunch) was beautiful, a flavour explosion! We had the chorizo eggs (like a suped up eggs Benedict).
Definitely worth a visit 🤙
The coffee was great also...
W.
The interior design was really great, we'd love the place. It is very modern, stylish and comfortable.
It is hardly to move when you go inside, you just want to enjoy the ambiance and vibe.
We ordered take away coffee in the morning (Mocha and Cappuccino).
The price for the mocha was $4.00 *small
Unfortunately, the mocha was average and not outstanding. It was slightly too milky and did not taste the coffee. The coffee was too weak, thus the milk overcame the coffee.
The cappuccino was better than mocha. The taste was pretty balance and good.
The breakfast and lunch menu looks amazing, we will come back to try them :)

Unfortunately forgot to take photos, but we went here for brunch and absolutely loved it. I ordered the special which was an omelette with pine nuts & blue cheese - flavours were humming 👌🏾
C. C.
Went to another cafe around the corner that was absolute rubbish! Should have just come to South of Johnston first! Been a few times and it’s great every time
T. B.
Super friendly staff. Great venue.
Latte was very week - maybe consider asking for an extra shot or two. I mean, the coffee wasn't great so maybe just stick with tea or a glass of milk.
Food was good enough. Standard brunch. Nothing special.
G. V.
This is one of my favourite breakfast places in Melbourne. I ordered the chorizo eggs and my partner ordered the zucchini and corn fritters. Both breakfasts were amazing especially hers! The coffee was also very good. The staff were friendly and it's a very funky place. I would definitely recommend you visit.
E. L.
Overall, very good, and I keep returning. The space is used very well. It has good feel too it and I like that it's tucked away. The food and drinks are generally very good to excellent. My only criticism would be that I find the service a little too relaxed and, for whatever reason, they tend to bring items to the table separately. Last time it went coffee, then cake, then tea, each delivered a couple of minutes apart by different people.
R. D.
This is one of Melbourne's finest as far as we are concerned. It's homely and cosy in the winter, airy in the summer. The staff are efficient, and the food's as good today as when it first opened all those years ago. You can even have your dog with you as company in the front section. Stuart's an effortless host and we recommend it to people from out of town. Try it. It's really good.
M. C.
We went on a Sunday morning which was very busy - we waited around half an hour for a table but were sat at the bar with water and menus to be getting on with. We ordered pancakes which we would both highly recommend. Overall one of our favourite places in the area - high praise given the competition of surrounding cafes.
J. L.
Great decor and good food as well! Like the corn and zucchini fritters.
R. A.
Lovely trendy decor and delicious food options - and such a large menu selection!
D. D.
Perfect. The perfect place for brunch. Warm deco and environment. Friendly staff and extremely helpful. I was in Melbourne for 5 days, I went multiple time. My meal, corn fitters were honestly amazing. The fireplace kept me warm on cold winter days (Australian winter days - I'm from Canada). The coffee was serious, but I'm not an expert. Will be back for sure.
B. B.
Good food, excellent services, nice environment
M. L.
Good food but a bit pricey.
J. V.
This place is a almost a bit hidden considering it isnt on the main street (smith st), however, it was still semi busy although they have quite a bit of seating. The staff were friendly and they had a great menu with plenty of great sounding choices. The food we finally decided on was delicious and the coffee was great although it wasnt too strong. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. It is dog friendly as well which was awesome! The place has been nicely done up and can be used for functions as well.
A. A.
The wait takes forever, but they do offer mimosa or coffee while you wait - so that's good. the food was good. But i wouldn't wait again. Lots of "only 5 minutes" to be there waiting for 35 minutes. I would say, let people know a realistic wait time in the future.
D. F.
Let me start with six dollar mimosas every day. The service is top notch and everyone has a smile. The food is excellent with some very good options. I had a filtered coffee which great and my partner had a chai that was even better. We went during the week and there is no wait if you work in the area. The weekend is pretty busy as it is really popular and good. You might have a line but it is worth it!
L. H.
Cozy place with super friendly staff!
Great coffee and meals in a nice environment!
M. F.
I was hesitating to come here first as it looked very trendy and therefore I think uptight, but I was pleasantly surprised. Hipster waiters but friendly. Service is good and food very tasty. Just a bit noisy but what can you expect when the place is packed?
J. J.
Great place.
I was recommended to go there from a local Web Agency after our meeting.
I hope to return soon.
I had Fritters with egg and avocado. Very nice.
Coffee was very good.
Ambience is hip and happening in an industrial way.
D. M. (.
Great brunch place. Another Collingwood gem!
T. Z.
This cafe is pretty large inside and has a huge communal table for big groups and lots of smaller places if you want to curl up with a newspaper by yourself.
If your in a rush, get a wrap and a take away coffee. The staff will even rush the toasting of it if your in a massive hurry. The best time to visit is when you can just sit there and relax with your great meal and coffee. Also because it's tucked away a few streets from smith st it's never too busy during the day.
T. N.
Great little place that is tucked away on a quiet street, the perfect book to tuck away with close friends, with a book for some food and Supreme coffee. Inside there is some common. Lounges and a fireplace for those cold winter melbourne days. Staff is also really friendly and quick service.
Q. 3.
Cosy little cafe, food is well presented
S. G.
Food just above average. Venue was ok. Service was the bad part. We had a waiter who had no smile on his face the whole time when we ordered and practically threw our dishes in our face when he was serving. There are so many cafes around where I could get decent food and not a stony face. Wasn’t a good experience.
A. B.
Busy spot, we got a seat outside.
The food was quick and tasty and the coffee was well made.
Hunting down a server was a bit hard, and the coffees took a while to make.
Otherwise the staff were friendly and professional.
Will go back another time.
N. I.
Thank you for the wonderful lunch last Sunday. My husband, my border collie Momo and I, we all enjoyed tasty food (I shared a bit of my yummy steak sandwich with my dog, her paw was up as well), great coffee and friendly service.
E. D.
We sat outside, place was really comfortable and pretty but service was quite slow. Unfortunately, the toast and bacon were cold and hard like it had been out for ages. Pretty disappointing as reviews were so good! It was really busy so maybe would be a different experience on a week day.
M. C.
Came to Melbourne to visit family and stumbled upon this gem. As far as a cafe goes this place has great food and drink and service.
However , we sat outside in the little courtyard area and saw a dog there which we thought were other people sitting down. I noticed the dog was extremely old and frail and looked as though he was in a lot of pain and struggled to walk and get out to use the toilet or further past the small amount his lead lead off.
We later discovered that this was the owners dog who must just stay here all day.
Being a dog and animal lover it's great to see business owners bring their pet to the workplace , however when the animal itself looks like it is suffering it really puts a sour note to the experience of sitting in the 'dog friendly' area.
s. c.
Service excellent. Friendly staff. Every meal ordered on our table of 7 was divine. 10 out of 10❤️
W.
South of Johnston is a busy café in Collingwood. Along the sides of the café are tables for 4 and in the centre of the café are larger tables for bigger groups. The fireplace towards the rear of the café is surrounded by couches. This may be a good area to relax with a drink and besides serving coffees, teas and soft drinks, this place also serves wines, beers and cocktails.
South of Johnston serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. Breakfast items are typically $14-22 and brunch dishes are around $15. The lunch items are around $24. We ordered the slow roasted lamb shoulder salad and the risotto with peas and pancetta for our lunch and complemented it with a glass of mimosa. For dessert we ordered the pancakes with poached strawberries and pistachio mascarpone from the breakfast menu. We enjoyed all the dishes however I found the salad a little lacking in the lamb and the pancakes a little dry. I liked the presentation of the dishes and will return to try out some of the other menu items.
If you like the framed photos that are displayed throughout the café, you can purchase them. You’ll find the price under each picture.
We arrived early for lunch so were able to get a table but it wasn’t long before the café was full. So if you don’t want to wait, I would recommend you book a table before you arrive.
V. H.
Getting a table is very efficient. They seat you down on the couch to have coffee and then take you to your table once its available. Food is good. Enjoyed the pancakes and bacon. I thought it could be crispier. But bill sorting was a letdown. Had to queue for a very long time as staff is inefficient ( lost a few dockets ).
E.
The inconspicuous front masks a hidden gem of cafes. Cute and cozy interior with friendly staff. They have a very tempting, very reasonably priced menu with generous portion sizes. Busy at weekends but well worth the wait!
C. G.
Best brunch I’ve had in Melbourne and I’ve had a few. Had the croquettes with smoked salmon. Everything worked in harmony - delicious. Plus the coffee was lovely
L.
I really liked the breakfast this morning, we didn t wait too long and we had the best spot ever, close to the fire place on the sofa. My chai was amazing. The mushroom toast with kale is soooo tasty and healthy. Def coming back.
L. B.
Absolutely love this place. Fabulous service, cosy, warm and inviting atmosphere and dame good cherry pie.
Z. M.
Sojo is the complete cafe happy place... Your choice of indoor, outdoor or share table eating fun with great service and irresistibly tasty counter top muffins!!! Anyway don't be sorry at the other café come here have noms and let the staff sort you out... Scrambled chili eggs with bacon is the go to.
B. J.
Even though there was quite a wait, it was worth it. Both the food and the coffee were delicious and the service friendly. The only downside was that it took quite a bit for the coffee to arrive, which I can understand due to the crowd.
B. C.
No wonder a lot people like this place, simply magnificent. Great food, cozy environment, stunning coffee, friendly staff, what else can you ask for? Love it!
D. C.
South of Johnston is the boss- great coffee, magnificent food, lovely , spacious, airy set up and friendly, attentive wait staff. Do yourself a favour!!!
J. M.
Can be quite busy but good food
S. W.
The venue itself is cosy and artfully decorated, very well done. But if you’re a cafe enthusiast, the food and coffee are certainly not bad, but are not of the quality and creativity of Au79, Terror Twilight, Industry Beans.etc pretty stock standard
C. L.
This cafe is amaaazing! I've been going there since the opening and it has never disapointed me. The food and their chai is always perfect and there is a willingness to amend the menu regularly. I'm also very impressed by the interior design which changes as seasons pass and makes you feel like home. The owner has definitely a talent for this and I have to applaud the staff as well who offer real customer service. Thanks guys!
N. (.
Great place - coffee, food and service all top quality. Really cool atmosphere too, always enjoy it here.
E. O.
Amazing food and atmosphere.
The attention to detail and cosy atmosphere makes it feel as though it is an extension of your living room.
A very cosy open fire during winter makes it the perfect place to sit and drink coffee, brunch, lunch or meet up.
K. H.
One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. Tucked away behind Smith St, this place offers indoor and outdoor seating, great coffee and food, booze if you want it, and the best flourless orange cake going around.
N. I.
SoJo is simply wonderful. Delicious food, interesting menu, brilliant ambience, and sunny and friendly staff. The owner in particular is lovely. Go on a cold day when the fire is going and it's simply perfect.
R. A.
The coffee is alright but there a plenty of other places nearby which serve them stronger. Food was also decent but nothing special, but at least the interior was nice and cozy
J. Z.
Coffee is spot on
D. S.
The best BTL I’ve tasted
M. J.
Had a great meal with snuggly hot latte in the freezing morning. The staffs were hospitable and kindly welcome us even though they're not open yet. Don't miss the house bland chai if you're around
M. N.
Great community vibe, friendly staff and delish food. The decor and layout is lovely...the little outdoor terrace is the best spot all year round. One of my Melbourne favourites.
L. M. (. Y. J.
Amazing food and excellent service. Everything on the menu looked great. Best breakfast I've had out ever.
D. M.
Great place, excellent food, terrific service - friendly staff and our dog was treated like the king that he is!!!
D. B.
Cosy place with a Scandinavian vibe. I ordered the filter coffee. I was not a fan because as a European I was hoping for some strength and full-bodiedness, you know? It was also lukewarm and served as a cup of tea. So I expressed my disappointment and the British staff member was really lovely about it and exchanged it for a good old strong long black. Well dealt with, thank you so much!
M. F.
Is there anywhere more inviting early on a cool autumn morning? Warm buzz as the place fills up, but always super relaxed. Great coffee and looking forward to breakfast.
G. F.
Great zucchini and corn fritters! Great service, fast to. Great little spot.
E. P.
Great atmosphere, awsome food and the service. The owners presence makes it feel like being a guest at his place rather than being at a restaurant 👍👍 keep up the great job, love coming here ☺️
R. K.
Solid coffee, delicious Reuben and excellent baked goods (tried muffin and cherry pie).
S. H.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating (they defended our yet-to-be-seated-at table from another big group as we had been waiting around 5-10 mins and then also gave me plant nursery recommendations lol), the food is excellent and the coffee is great.
J. B.
Food is delicious, best poached egg I think I've ever had! Coffee great and lovely atmosphere & staff.
D. W.
Great space, great food...and on a cold day, sitting near the fireplace. Simply great.
S. W.
Absolutely fabulous! The food was so tasty, I will definitely come back. The coffee was so amazing, I got two!
K. S.
Great coffee, loved the semolina cake. Especially liked the ambience; quiet and great for reading or doing a spot of work.
J. B.
One of my local favourites. $6 mimosa's a great way to kick-start your Saturday morning. Also cant go past the croque madame if you're a little dusty.
M.
