So I haven’t really dined here, I just come here for my coffee takeaways; that being said, the coffee here is really good! What I also like is how friendly the staff is! Since I’ve n dined here, I can’t really comment on the food, however, my friends do rave about their brekkies. This place is easily accessible by public transport.

The Grocery Bar holds some nice memories for me. When I first moved down to Melbourne I stayed in St Kilda. The Grocery Bar became my regular cafe, for breakfast, and a quiet hangout for a beer in the afternoon. When I moved to Toorak I would often come back just to have a beer. Great service, a good vibe with the St Kilda locals coming here, and great for people watching as the crowds go up and down Fitzroy St. Try it.

This is such a cool little cafe, regularly and loyally attended by locals. Prices are reasonable, staff are polite, and the food is good (my partner always gets the Argentine breakfast). Alcohol is particularly well priced compared to other options in the area; the outdoor street seating is great for having a bite, drink and people watching.

Such a great St Kilda day-bar, it ticks all the boxes for what locals would like. It's simple, straight-forward, great serving sizes for meals and not to mention great specials on jugs of beer. The staff are also super chilled and relaxed.

With an outdoor atmosphere that screams randomly arranged European street cafe, the food is equal to the task often excelling past the point of no return. The table water is the best that St Kilda can offer with its offering leaving after tones of lead and old pipes on the palette. All in all the breakfast here was really good as was the coffee which was equal to the task of a solidly designed and prepared breakfast.

Hey I drink coffee here every day! Not an expert on all the nuances of the art and science of coffee but seems pretty good to me. I read the paper. Sit in the sun. Staff are kind. No more dramas than one usually finds in St Kilda. Foods good quality. Had breakfast at lunch today held me together through the afternoon. Should give it a go. It is a cafe ok.

OMG! Best vibe on Fitzroy Street, it was the 12 dollar jugs of amazing pale ale that brought me in! I'm a bacon and poachies lover and the sauce was an absolute treat!... Not to mention very accommodating to my vegetarian friend...... If you live in the area then this is the new and improved Banff.... Food is better, service is better and the price is right! Also 3 tacos for 15 bucks is great for what reaches the table! Big yes! 👍
