Great place for pancakes in Melbourne. You can tell from our photos that we went for breakfast, but they have other options for lunch, dinner or dessert. We were both members for the clean plate club, and left stuffed and satisfied. One thing to know was that I ordered an extra pancake with my breakfast, which made it a bit much to eat. Next time I'll stick to the recommended two! Helpful and friendly staff round out an excellent experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Their pancakes are amazing and you have quite a wide range to chose from or to do your own. Waitstaff is also very friendly and is looks happy for working there (which is always a good sign). I ended up choosing the peanut chocolate log pacake, which was very good but too sweet for me. My gf got matcha tiramisu and it was fabulous! Definitely work the trip.

Wide variety of delicious pancakes - savoury and sweet at reasonable prices and decent serving sizes. Made a booking on a Sunday morning - and seemed a good few tables had 'reserved' on them, but still space for walk-ins. We had the pastrami savoury and matcha sweet pancakes and coffees. The staff were friendly and accomodating - there wasn't enough for the large matcha tiramisu pancake we ordered and was kindly given a small nutella and marscapone one to try. All great quality, would recommend.

Absolutely delicious pancakes made with pride and heart. Stumbled upon this small spot on a night’s stroll and just took a chance. The fruits were very fresh, served on a warm and soft pancake with whipped cream and berry compote. The price was very reasonable too. The hot chocolate just rounded up a great experience on a cool night. Definitely recommended and will visit again.

I was looking forward to a lot of pancake options when we decided to come here for breakfast, however to my surprise, the food options were all served on what I would call crepe instead of pancake... as they were very thin pancake. Anyways, the place was cosy & empty, so we got to enjoy the place for ourselves. We ordered the following: Pancake Croque Madame - Ham, cheese, and heart warming béchamel sauce wrapped in a pancake with a fried or poached egg Pulled Pork Pancake Breakfast - Pancakes wrap with pulled pork, ham, cheese, mustard, pickles, garlic mayo and maple syrup with a side of fried eggs Berry Berries (as dessert) - homemade mixed berry compote and Nutella wrapped in pancakes, topped with fresh berries Everything that came to our table was not just so good, it was fresh, blends well with everything, and just the right portion. Definitely coming back to try more from their menu :)

Enjoyed this diy pancake kit at home and was honestly the most delicious spread ever. Really easy to follow instructions and so many sweet and savoury toppings. We were greeted and offered a table and ordering process was explained (scan the barcode on the table that opens up a web page with your table number and menu. Ordering was seamless. We had pancakes and was expecting for the flat thick ones, but they came out thin and the add in rolled in them and they were scrumptious 😋. I pointed out to the waiter that my caramelled apple slices were missing in the one I ordered and he apologized and said it doesn’t come in the type I ordered (may be something to be fixed in the digital menu) and immediately went and refunded the extra amount. This quaint little shop serves delicious sweet and savoury pancakes! They also had quite a range of savoury pancakes as well if you're not into the sweet stuff (like me). Service is very efficient as all the ordering is done via a QR code. The pancakes chips were a highlight for me. Super crispy on the outside and soft on the instead. Delish.

Went for some good pancakes and was surprisingly shocked at just how amazing they really are! If you want to feel like you're not in the city whilst being in the city, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, the menu is extensive and caters from savory to sweet, and the most chocolatey hot chocolate I've had in a while. I really love Stoker's. It really is the only place you can chill, have a chat and coffee at 10pm. The owner is super nice and friendly too. It's just got such a good atmosphere. The music is always good (also not too loud so you can actually have a conversation). And on top of all that, it's really delicious. They have sweet and savoury options, yummy coffee and a good selection if you want a wine or beer. Definitely recommend.

So, when they have fine pancakes in the name, they mean it. What delicious creations come out of that kitchen. We had the pulled pork and apple pancake and the berry-nutella pancake, but if I could I would've tried them all. Definite five stars. I visit stokers every time I come to Melbourne; there's something reminiscent of childhood when eating their crispy-edged, perfectly cooked pancakes. The staff are very friendly and service is good - which I think makes the pancakes taste even better. Well done stokers, I will be back.

Update: Dropped in for dessert and hot chocolate on a Friday night. The best hot chocolate I have ever had! Pancakes are tasty but even though we all got different flavours they seemed to all taste the same. And no decaf coffee! Had to go get a take away coffee to have breakfast with my family!

This is one of the nice little places you can find in South Melbourne. Who can really say no to pancakes? It doesn't really matter if it's sweet or savoury pancakes. Do you know they also serve pancake chips? That's creativity! You can never go wrong with the Spinach & Fetta Cheese Pancake, Beef Bolognese Pancakes or even Chicken & Corn Pancakes. However ever since I tried their Nemo, which is pretty much a fish burger serves with pancake chips, I always go for this burger rather than the savoury pancakes. I am a bit disappointed that they don't offer Nemo during my last 3 visit. 🤔 Their sweet pancakes are great too. I enjoy the Caramel Spiced Apples, Honey & Almonds, simple but delicious Lemon & Sugar and last but not least the Pancake Suzette. As for drink, I always order the Matcha Latte. Well this is a perfect drink for non coffee drinkers like me. I always request for less sugar. Although they only have few staff members working, they do provide good services and they are very friendly. Most importantly they always welcome you with a big smile. 😁

Ok so not your typical pancake parlour It's a bit of an upscale cute nightspot to take the missus or boyfriend. The food here is decent and definitely tastes a notch better than most other pancake places Decor and seating are nice. Food was delicious and well plated. Last time I had Stokers pancake was when they were still in Ivanhoe, back in my uni years. Even at that time, their pancake was to die for. Coming back here after several years in their newer shop brought back some memories. I ordered their raspberry white chocolate and it was amazing. The pancake was still soft and full of flavour. Don't forget to add ice cream as well to your pancake when you are here! Definitely must try when you are in South Melbourne.

I visited this wonderful pancake restaurant last night and was very happy with my choice. There was a great selection of music to chill out to and the staff were good, although perhaps a tiny bit too keen to get out of your face. But maybe that's because of my face, haha. Very nice pancakes. Definitely not the fluffy ones, but more like French pancakes. I recommend pulled pork one or frangipane. Not too fat, not too sweet, just perfect. A good thing is that you can choose the size of the serve for sweet pancakes, either one or two, great to try several ones or have a desert after a savoury one. Coffee is good also and staff is friendly and helpful.

“Best dessert of my life” no exaggeration. Thanks Stokers staff, you completely turned our night around, after having a disappointing experience elsewhere. Pancakes were 11/10 fluffy with crispy edges. Yum. We had banana flambé & peanut butter chocolate log. Highly recommend both… also the Toblerone cocktail was delicious! And I would review the vanilla milkshake, but it seems that it was so delicious my partner had no sips to spare. Outstanding. Pricing was extremely reasonable, no complaints here. We will be returning. :)

The prices are really cheap compared to what is offered. The waiter was super friendly in an exotic way, I think he was Japanese, and he was talking to us like a gentleman likes of which I've never seen before it was different from the kind of respect you get from the others. The coffee and the pancakes were great and tasty. We ordered everything completely wireless just by scanning the QR code on the table and also paid for it using the link provided, a few minutes after we were served the dishes. I will definitely visit the place again.

When pancakes marry crepes, the result is Stokers. Came here for a late lunch and unfortunately the Merlot Pears pancakes (imagine pears poached in red wine and vanilla beans) had been sold out. Loved the Caramel Pears version instead. Poached pears lay atop a cross between pancakes and crepes with a generous pouring of salted caramel sauce. The resulting effect was deliciously balanced and not too sweet. The Pancake Chips and Pancake Chips Nachos on the menu were intriguing. Feels like I have to come back to uncover this mystery. Friendly service with smiles all round. I love the vintage decor in the front half, especially that clock above the fireplace. This place should be a cosy atmosphere in the depths of winter with comforting pancakes, coffees and burgers.

Great tasting crepes and pancakes. Nestled within a tiny shop in South Melbourne you find a small and trendy little shop churning out great tasting deserts. For us, we opted for the Raspberry White Chocolate Pancake which was folded. It was delicious and the chocolate when served warm just melted in your mouth. That in conjunction with the berries made up for a delightful post dinner treat. The hot chocolates were a little disappointing however and both tasted as it was warm milk combined with some hot chocolate/cocoa powder mixed together. This doesn't appear to be a forte of Stokers and was the only downside. Service is good but a little decluttering would probably enable a couple more seats to be squeezed in on a busy night!

They do not only sell pancakes! Has a mean breakfast menu and has pancakes incorporated in most of the items. Tried the big breakfast, monkey business (mash bananas with Nutella) and spiced apple with cinnamon pancakes and it was very good. Great coffee, staff was extremely friendly and helpful and will definitely be back to try more of the savoury pancakes next time.
