Enjoyed our meal here and the atmosphere was really nice. The Barn has a large outdoor terrace and has good humoured staff. The food was well presented and they have an interesting menu with their own take on both classic European and South East Asian dishes.

Top notch food, competitive with the best brunch places Melbourne, Canberra or Sydney have to offer, hidden in plain sight! We thought we'd get a quick breakfast eden route to Melbourne but it's so pretty we hung out on the outdoor deck for an hour.

Awesome breakfast! The best food we have had on our trip to the region. Honestly the best brunch style place I've been in a long time. Staff were lovely too. Very apologetic when taking a while to take our order (as a large table were just recieving their orders) which made us more than happy to wait. Thanks for a great breakfast guys 😁

The food was nice. The staff were lovely and friendly too. But it was too hot and on a 35 degrees day, their air-conditioning was off!! It was too hot that I just wanted to finish the food and leave and I actually couldn't finish it because of feeling sick of the heat.

There is only one thing that beats the deliciousness of food at The Barn At Kalimna: the amazing service of the friendly staff!

Family owned and run. Established from the ground up. Little hidden gem. With a seperate breakfast, lunch, and bar menu you’ve got so much to choose from. The Black Forest burger is to die for and it’s served with a top secret envelope as part of the meal. I won’t ruin the surprise as to what it is. Cooked to perfection. Perfect amount of side. The Barn is fully licensed and houses a stupidly large amount of people. It has a great little beer garden and the view from the balcony is to die for. It’s hard to see but definitely, DEFINITELY worth the trip and search. Apparently they’re looking at getting new signage but right now it’s easy to miss. Get into this hidden gem.

Old country charm, modern city ideas. My pick for best Cafe in East Gippsland. Location couldn't be better. Picturesque. Inside was just as impressive. Clean, practical and cultured. Even had colouring books for kids etc. Service was quick and super friendly. Indi was delightful and helpful. Coffee was right up there in taste and execution. Food was of superb quality. Tried the "Hipster Delight". Delicious, plenty of different elements on plate. Fresh avocado. Sweet relish. Mushrooms were a standout. Flavour was hitting. Partners eggs slightly runny but overall Benedict was great. Pulled pork was melt in your mouth tender. Exceptional stuff guys. 9/10

I chose this place as they advertised a big breakfast multiple times on their Facebook. We love going to different cafes and trying their big breakfast, the usual price we pay is $15-$23. We get to the cafe and look at the menu and it was not there? you had to build the breakfast yourself. the add on prices were ridiculous and one breakfast would cost $40 if you wanted an actual big breakfast. they obviously do this to make a lot of money. But I spent the rest of the day disappointed that I couldn't have everything as it was just to costly for breakfast.

The Moscow lattes is something that I am definitely going back for.
