Been a couple of years between coming to the Paddock Cafe, but again, we remembered what makes this place special! The service is top class and the food amazing! For us it was fitters and breakfast gnocci - washed down with some ice coffee - perfect! Lovely atmosphere looking out over the gardens, and we promise, won't be as long between visits next time - I wanna try that Mex bowl! Cheers

This is a lovely spot to dine at. It has a real rural feel to it even though it's not off the beaten track. The food is locally sourced and the menu covers most dietary requirements. The food is a delight to see and eat, which is great because we eat with our eyes way before our mouths, and what I ate tasted fantastic. Portion sizes won't leave you hungry and prices won't overstretch your wallet either. Make sure you take this place for a spin. It won't disappoint.

Really great food and perfect country setting. Last time I ate there though the portions were pretty small and on the expensive side. My 7 yo demolished an adult meal in no time and was still hungry. I felt like going somewhere else to complete the lunch size meal.

Went to Paddock Cafe and ordered takeaway. I ordered a parmi. The chips are good, the parmi, however, not so much. The meat was tough and very chewy and the meat doesn't look like a normal parmi.

Tasty, fresh and well-portioned meals. Highly recommend the Chicken Gnocchi and Calamari Salad. We asked for extra calamari to make it a meal and the waitress with funky short hair was very accomodating to this. She was absolutely lovely! Coffee was also great and we were stoked they even had Kombucha: Raspberry and Ginger. On departure carrots are provided to feed2 beautiful black horses in the paddock. We will definitely be back to try more food!

Hands down my favourite cafe on the peninsula. Love the location, the vibe, the coffee and the PHENOMENAL food. I struggle to stray from my fave mushroom breakfast (seriously SO good) but I did today and the zucchini fritters are unbelievable!! Vegetarian choices are well considered, not an after thought. Highly recommend.

Great little spot with a good selection of food and all-day-breakfast. Highly recommend eating outdoors should the weather allow it. Horses in the paddock next door are a nice attraction for kids and adults alike. Kid friendly place offering children’s meals and a small play place including a sandpit. Definitely worthwhile checking out if you happen to be in the area.

Service let our experience down. Waitress was not at all friendly after we declined coffee upon sitting down. Didn’t come to our table again. When we finally got someone’s attention to order the next waitress just plonked my friend’s breakfast down without a glance nor smile. Food was nice without having wow factor, quality of the bread on avo toast was ordinary, hence 3 stars. Didn’t get the vibe at this place at all. Most of the staff looked like they’d rather be elsewhere.

So pleasantly surprised by the food here so delicious and hearty. I had the congee and it was so full of umami flavour with yummy homemade xo sauce. The chicken parmi also had lots of herbs and flavour with a generous serve of fries. Would revisit again in future if ever down this part of town.

I ordered the eggs Benedict, the eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise was just beautiful. My friend ordered the big breakfast minus the eggs and she absolutely loved it. The service was great and the waitress was very kind. The atmosphere was cozy and warm and I enjoyed listening to some 70’s tunes while enjoying my breakfast :)

The best brunch I’ve had in ages. I had the waffles (who knew they could be so good?!) and my husband had the breaky feast, and we were both so happy with our choices. Great, friendly and helpful staff, and a cute playground that was loved by our 2.5 year old. We will be back!!

Great breakfast. On holiday from SA. Heard about this place from a friend. I had the brecky feast. Prices super reasonable. For what they put up I would say its kinda cheap. Big thumbs up. I've never had spinach that tastes that good. I actually liked eating it. Haha. And the rest of it tasted great. Good coffee. Happy days

OMG best coffee! Their food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating. It’s nice and warm and cozy in winter with heaters and little blankies and a big fun play area for the kids. Would give 10 stars if I could! ❤️

Have driven past this place many times on my way through to Ocean Grove. Today was the first time I actually stopped. I ordered a salad with chicken and coffee. Firstly, the beautifully polite staff member made an awesome coffee, nice little touch with the addition of smarties on top. The salad came out very quickly too and the chef was so happy and well mannered. The shock of my life though was when I opened up my takeaway container to reveal the most stunning and delicious salad I have EVER seen and tasted. Generous serving of avocado, chicken, haloumi and beetroot on a bed of mixed leaves, candied walnuts and quinoa. Just spectacular. I write this as I devour the remaining salad. My only wish is that I’d discovered this gem of a cafe sooner. Although I live in Melbourne, I will gladly make the drive here weekly for my family to dine. Thanks guys.

Brunch booking. Everyone else seemed on but my water glass was dirty. There were a lot of fly hanging around d which was quite yuck. Didn't get to eat until lunch time. Meal was acceptable, probably a little overpriced for was it was. Otherwise service was pleasant. Three star 'Average' rating.

Kelly and her amazing team at paddock hosted part of our team this morning and was not only super prompt with our meals, but was accommodating of dietary needs and last minute add in orders. The food was amazing and the rest of the team at Bellarine Sports Medicine Centre seemed a little jealous. Can’t wait for next months breaky; were so excited to be supporting such and amazing local gem! Can’t recommend higher!

On the Bellarine we are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out especially for breakfast brunch and lunch, but The Paddock for me has stood out consistently. There's a combination here that keeps me coming back, it's amazingly friendly staff make you feel always welcome with a community vibe, then there is the location surrounded by greenery and even a horse in the paddock (pun intended) next door and not to mention the delicious food! From your classics like smashed avo, big breakfast, to Asian inspired congee rice porridge and a killer burger on the lunch menu never have I been disappointed at the paddock being a Wallington local myself it's my favourite spot for food and coffee with friends or solo :) love your work!

Elkhorn is a favourite place of mine. Food is an absolute stand out, using locally sourced and organic produce, which showcases the Bellarine Peninsula. The single origin coffee is delicious and all of the staff can manage to make a soy latte, something that other cafe's struggle with. Part owner Terri will always greet you and remembers regular faces, so she makes you feel like part of the family. oh and did I mention that they have blankets for outside diners. win
