Comments of The Store
A.
Yum, yum, yum…I haven’t been here in ages and it was as yummy as I remember it!!! They have some serious magic skills to know how to queue the sun exactly when they brought out my chai latte ☀️💗☀️💗☀️💗☀️Thank you
O. B.
Lovely setting. Great food and coffee. Friendly service.
A. W.
Great setting. Very popular thus coffee orders can take a while. Could do with a better breakfast selection/variety.
A. J.
Go to The Store regularly for great coffee, a good rustic place to hang out of the regular trade. They make the best roast veggie toasties! They are yummo!

I discovered this little indie café whilst staying in the vicinity, by 10am there were already 10-15 people enjoying their morning coffee. I went inside and requested a table, a team member said help yourself and we'll be out. Only moments afterward more people began piling in, overwhelming the 4 staff members onsite.
There is no table service here, grab a menu from inside and order at the counter. All staff were friendly and plates cleared from tables in good time, pricing is very reason reasonable. Nice outdoor seating area and a popular local takeaway caffeine spot.

I called into The Store on the way back to Cowes from The Nobbies. Lunch was lactose free cappuccino, vegan toastie, fruit toast and chai.
S. J.
Little butcher attached to cafe and providor. Just stopped in for some meats and bread. Can say the meat was 100% approved of by the family at our BBQ. The bread which was a quinoa and soy bean was perfect just lashed with some butter. Would recommend for your next stay in Cowes.

Had a coffee here with friends on Saturday and gotta say it was one of the best I’ve had in ages and certainly the best on the island. Whoever the barista is certainly knows what they’re doing. Thank you!’
M. A.
Best coffee on the island. Worth a drive out from Cowes. Awesome meat next door.
D. A.
Nice vibe and area.
Put cheese, mayo, relish and salad on their “breakfast” roll which is a bit much. Maybe i should have described what i was after in a bit more detail.
K. D.
Very popular Cafe catering for gluten free customers and all types of coffees. Usually a 20 minute wait for most orders.
P. B.
Cute little place, probably popular with surfers and the 2021 hippie, organic lovers. Food and coffee great, all freshly made in the smallest of small kitchens. Young vibe, friendly staff. Very good
butcher next door to cafe as part of The Store. 🍮🥧☕🌯🌮
N. N.
Great sandwich and coffee. Nice hide away out this side of the island. Don't forget to look in the paddock to plate butcher.
M. G.
Quality goods, good range of gluten free & vegan pies, sausage rolls & cakes, very tasty, need to get there early sell out quickly
B. J.
The best take away baked treats on the island and super staff.
A. B.

M. V.

S. O.
Good service, food and coffee. I’ll be back!
M. A.
This place is certainly bustling on a Saturday morning. So don’t pop by for a quick coffee or bite. It is a lovely place to people watch. Produce and butcher also look great. Coffee was yum. And the resident chicken is quite entertaining.
D. J.
Fantastic service, great coffee and the bread is amazing!!!!
I. W.
Delicious toasties. Too late to taste the gourmet home made pies. Friendly staff. A definite must place to visit when you are on Phillip Island
D.
I liked the coffee here, the best I had on the island, I can recommend.
J. A.
Fast friendly service at this casual cafe or take away. Basic breakfast and lunch menu e.g. toasties and pies. Several gf pastries too.
Good quality ingredients make the experience delicious.
In addition, bought delicious bread loaf and HC buns to enjoy at home.
Amazing butcher shop attached to the cafe...real meat rather than anemic pieces from the supermarket.
B. R.
Great coffee a range of local produce.
M.
Delightful cafe, visited twice in one weekend. Very friendly service, good coffee and tasty well priced food.
A. S.
Love this rustic coffee hideout. Service is second to none even when busy...especially now that this Phillip island locals little secret is getting out! Butcher is also a treasure!
L. A.
The food is very tasty. The coffee is good. Service excellent if a little slow - however worth waiting for.
H. S.
Went twice in a raw.. top quality coffee. Loved the pear and cinnamon cake. Very cosy atmosphere.
P. S.
Dropped into the store today for a take away coffee and it was 'nice'. However, I asked for a short machiatto and what I got was more a picolo ...... too much mikl. A short mac should only have a couple of teaspoons of froth ........ not pour warm milk!!!
The coffee had a nice taste and they are using a local Wonthaggi roaster - FOLKS. They make nice coffee beans.
J. C.
Very friendly servers the Cuban toastie was amazing. Lovely selection of items. Can also recommend the yo-yo biscuits.
N. F.
Cuban. So good.
J. C.
Great setting amongst farms on Phillip Island and the outdoor area is great for kids. They make some great breakfast sandwich options, but the coffees weren't great so didn't really work for me.
K. N.
Not much here. Bit of local produce but not much
J. H.
Very nice. Cheap beer ($6 can). Nice plain food nice taste. Lovely atmosphere. Unknown re toilets. Fresh butcher produce next door. Popular.
V. F.
The coffee was good but they only have toasties and pies on their menu which is pretty basic. They don't have a kids menu so I paid $12.50 for a cheese and tomato toastie (normally has ham) and $13 for my other child's toastie. I had the Cuban toastie which was a mistake as it was far too rich for my liking. Unfortunately I did not enjoy this place.
D. I.
Clean, Good food, friendly staff, nice place to relax.
N. G.
Picked up some beef sausages, rump steak, lamb chops and fresh bread from The Shed, it bbq'd up a treat. Friendly service, the butcher was kind enough to show the kids a quick demo on how he makes sausages. Recommended stop for nice local produce.
E.
Great homey Cafe, great coffee, lovely outdoor area and space for the kids to explore
