Such a cute and fun place, I feel like it's very Melbourne to have a tiny store in a laneway. So many wonderful vegan options to choose from, I tried both the tofu scramble special and the Bolognese jaffle and they were delicious.

Vegan cheesy jaffle dream in the heart of Melbourne CBD! The tiny but super friendly Kiosk serves some amazing hot toastie and vegan coffee. I enjoyed the spicy Vegan beef jaffle served with salsa and jalapeno. The soy chai latte was really good and the Mocha was outstanding too. Loved that the Kiosk is trying to be environment friendly by serving coffee in biocups with the caps that were made from plants and compostable.

I love this place. Big flavours from a small a cafe in the heart of the CBD. They definitely know how to mark an amazing coffee and out of this world toasties. Definitely recommend it when you’re needing a break from all that shopping. All which are vegan friendly, I decided on the chocolate brownie this time.

Oh my god this place is vegan heaven on earth. I have been here twice in the last week and it never disappoints! From the coffee to the jaffles, the yoyos and the brownies, these guys don't miss. 100% vegan! I got the mushroom, spinach, basil, and mozzarella jaffle and a soy latte. Both were outstanding. May have to go back tomorrow to try one of their other options, perhaps a dessert jaffle? Despite the lunch rush and the tiny kitchen, I was only waiting a minute to get served (behind two others), and about 10 minutes for my jaffle (coffee arrived almost immediately). Definitely recommended!

A friend found this literal 'hole in the wall' through the Happy Cow app, which listed Union Folk as completely vegan (SCORE!) so we popped by and hello jaffles with vegan cheese! I got the bolognese, which was really tasty (perhaps could have a slightly stronger tomato [paste maybe?] flavour), and my friend got the Mexican (could definitely do with a stronger kick of heat). We also got a coconut cupcake (pictured), whose amount of icing made my inner child smile with glee. But the secret indulgence was hidden underneath that wonderful icing; the cupcake top had somewhat crystallised! It was like cupcake candy! And lastly we got a lamington, which are large enough to be shared (if you are willing to share that is!) The staff are SUPER friendly and happy to chat, telling us how the owners progressively converted the business vegan, which is great to see, and that a regular soy coffee is as cheap as $3.50 with a keepcup. That's cheaper than anywhere else I've been! And a large is $4.50 with keepcup. SOLD. Count me a regular! I wish them luck and highly recommend stopping by. Even if you eat meat you'll find something on the menu to cure your lunch or snack time craving.

We heard about this little kiosk and knew we had to try! After walking through causeway lane we found the little kiosk in the wall. We tried 6 different jaffles and absolutely fell in love!! We tried and can 1000% recommend - beyond meat burger - special with potato gems and bacon - mushroom and basil spinach - spicy pulled pork - sweet hazelnut vego bar - veg bolognese Sooo good and the nicest staff! Definitely a must try when in Melbourne 100% vegan!

A classic little Melbourne coffee in a small lane, I am surprised how many options there are for food and coffee for such a small window. Had to choose from non-dairy milk for my mocha, oat milk goes great with the chocolate taste. The store also offers soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk on average price coffee without extra charge!! Really great little vegan place. My only concern is that the limited seating means more people using disposable coffee cups. Being a vegan place though, I'm hopeful that the demographic may be more likely to bring their own reusable ones though

I love this place. A perfect little hole in the wall with incredibly delicious toasties. The mushroom is probably my favourite but make sure you try their specials, they're great. Staff are always lovely and the coconut roughs are divine.

Delicious toasted sandwiches! The mushroom one hits the spot. Also burns the beejeeezus out of your mouth so proceed with the necessary caution. Grab a Vegemite and cheese while you're there. The FAVOURITE food destination for our General Manager... a Level 7 Vegan. The Mushroom, Cheese & Basil Jaffle is probably too good! They do have their coffee pricing around the wrong way. They should be charging .50c more for COW MILK rather than .50c more for PLANT MILK. That'd convert the carni's to plant-based milk in no time.
