A popular spot being on the corner of a very busy street. The look of the store makes you think they sell old age recipes of doughnuts with modern twist. I personally love doughnuts so tried quiet a few of them. Some tastes amazing with unique flavours others not so much. Not very friendly staff but by this point it looks like (to me) no one in Melbourne is. They kept asking me if we have decided the flavours even after mentioning my son needs some time to decide.

Went here after dinner, was disappointed that they didn’t have our favourite Nutella donut but I ended up buying the “raspberry cheesecake”. It’s overly sweet like diabetes sweet and was not sure about the cream inside, tasted very sour. Not sure about it being sour because it’s cheesecake and it’s supposed to be like that or it’s probably been out the whole day sitting there. Overall not a great donut. It looks very pretty, don’t let that fool you!

Got the hot jam donuts. Some were hot, some were not. It was ok and definitely good if you're craving some hit jam donuts but not sure if I'd get them again. There was a bit of a wait when I was there because we were waiting for some customers to pick their donuts but the barista ended up taking some orders so things could move more quickly.

Doughnut shops should be reviewed on the basic doughnut and ingredient and taste. Not by someone who thinks it's a hotdog stand. Just because a Chinese restaurant offering chicken chow mein, should not be reviewed on that dish, should it? A fool should be treated as such. This is possibly the best doughnut shop in Melbourne, if not in the entire continent. Certainly better than anything in NY, LA, SF, HK, or the entire Europe. Try the simple cinnamon sugar doughnut on the counter for $1.20 each. It's perfect. You'd want to take a dozen home. Cream-filled doughnuts, which is not my favorite doughnuts, were also best I had anywhere. Eclaire, which is a size of my shoe for $5 uses real cream and dark chocolate, yet not as sweet as you'd expect or want. It will feed a whole cricket team (the sport I still don't get it - makes baseball game seems like a contact sport). I've been here twice in three days. My jeans are getting tighter by minute.

Best donut I have ever had - ever! The famous Hot jam!! When we went to Melbourne a few years back this was next to the Doubletree. I had multiple Hot Jam Donuts every day. I never really have donuts really. I like them but it’s not usually my thing. But I had these every day... sometimes more than once a day. 🤫 it was so worth it. Hot off the line. We had great food in Melbourne. Fav dinners and fantastic lunches on the laneways. But this ... this simple little Jam filled piece of dough is still something I think about. And something I still talk about. You have to go here. It’s a must. I ate it sorry no pic. Lol.

The prices are climbing up there now, but if you're lucky enough to get a fresh one, Walker's are as good as any sub-five buck doughie in town. Their fridges are way too cold though, so doughies get stiff quickly. Hopefully one day they will turn them up a bit so they can taste fresh for longer.

There really is nothing like a doughnut from a place called (blank) Doughnuts. I mean, they really have to mean doughnuts to have doughnuts in the name. Especially the jam filled winners that you see people walking from Walker's Doughnuts with. Service can be slow in busy times, and there is often a queue of waiting persons, but the wait is well worth it. Why oh why is it that those who are known for one thing attempt other things? Hot dogs and the like, I wouldn't risk it. Coffee can be hit and miss at the best of times (it may have been the amazing doughnut that made the coffee taste so sweet). Doughnuts - end of story. Get in and get back out into the city with a sugary piece of magic. There's not really room to sit anyway.

Pretty great doughnuts and realy friendly staff. I would recommend getting the jam filled doughnuts (as that's what they've been doing since they've opened!) The coffee is pretty great too and compliments the doughnuts perfectly! I had the pretzel and caramel doughnut which pretty good but the dough to icing ratio made it a little dry.

Pretty good donuts the regular donuts are a bit doughy and big but the hot jam and hot Nutella donuts are outstanding. You could get a bag of 6 hot jam donuts or 6 hot Nutella doinuts for $8 you can also get a mixed bag with 3 Nutella and 3 jam. And you can also get 6 regular donuts for $20 Overall pretty good donut shop. They also have an wide range of drinks and soda's like green apple soda and sarsaparilla and doctor pepper but they are a touch pricey.

Really nice donuts for a reasonable price. $35 for a dozen mixed and that included both regular and filled selections. Not the best donuts I've had but also far from the most expensive. I felt it was good value for money. Only thing to note is I couldn't see any vegan or non-dairy options. There's a few other donut shops in Melbourne nearby that cater for those needs however.

If you love custard filled doughnuts you’ll love this place! There filled doughnuts are better then krispy creams and I adore krispy kremes. I doubt there original glazed is better then krispy cremes one, I’m about to find out. My favourite is the doughnut with iced coffee and custard inside. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I ate it. Everyday it was on my mind until finally today I quenched my cravings by buying out all the coffee custard doughnuts from the flinders store. Can’t wait to eat them all. Most of the iced doughnuts are quite sweet but they are definitely tolerable. I could easily eat two in one sitting. In terms of customer service I wouldn’t say that it’s anything special. Just your run of the mill, they serve you, you pay and then you go, standard customer service. They can get a little busy, but they are quite quick so it’s ok. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, give it a try.

So good!!! Paid $8.40 for a regular glazed donut and a filled cookies and cream. Both were soft, fresh and delicious. The glaze on the glazed doughnut wasn’t too sweet so you could enjoy the doughnut itself. The cream filling of the cookies and cream was fluffy and light and the crumbled cookie topping added a great texture without overpowering the whole doughnut. Definitely coming back.

A bit pricey but oh so worth it. I can't say much about their other flavors but their apple crumble was ridiculously good, probably one of the best doughnuts I've ever had. My boyfriend had a small jelly doughnut, served hot and bursting with jam, which was a nice change compared to other doughnut shops that skimp on the filling. I had such a great experience that I made a special stop there before heading to the airport the next day. I got the raspberry cheesecake this time around, and was equally as impressed. Walker's Doughnuts will be a regular stop for me whenever I'm in Melbourne, thanks for the delicious treats!

Outstanding donuts & can't beat the price. Friendly looking outlet & being 24 hrs I find is great as a late shift worker. However...while service is generally very good, several times now, the latest being tonight, I have had to wait while one staff member attends to a customer and the other appears to be on their phone, reading the paper or whatever. I often pop in when I'm on turnaround from driving city buses so I literally only have 5 minutes. I just don't have time available to stuff around while one staff member is occupied making coffee (which takes time, I understand) and the other is doing sod all. Or worse, when both are idle and not interested in serving in a timely matter. This means several times I've had to leave without anything as I am out of time, which is disappointing. Otherwise, though, A+, just some awareness to your staff that especially late, some of us are on short work breaks and don't have time. One last note. Older lady tonight, around 9.50 Sun 24/3 - the same one who was slacking off was very curt and rude when she finally decided to assist.

I normally try to give a review just off the food but I can't help but mention the staff here are great the only way to keep a smile like they have all day is to be really having fun and that shows in the quality. If you're have a sweet tooth or your feeling a little down on your luck you gotta try these doughnuts. Prepare your palette though if you see a glazed topping it is going to be very sweet if you see a jam filling its going to be sweet so have a drink handy if you are faint of heart. The most import part the dough in the doughnut is really what made me give this the fifth star its just a pleasant dough clearly made with a consistent recipe it will give enough so you can get a nice big bite and still eat in public without wearing the topping on your face and it still has enough of a bready texture it wont just turn to mush. Try them out and consume responsibly.

What's more, if you want a "dog" -- hotdog, sausage, whatever you wanna call 'em -- just about the same (only better) as you can get in Chicago or New York City, WALKER'S (just across from Flinders Street Station) is the place to go!

Best doughnuts holes ever! Normal doughnuts are alright but they have these mini doughnuts called doughtnut holes with custard or jam in them. The custard ones are the best. Jams are pretty good too :-)
