Comments of White Mojo

Found this place as one of the recommended places and we were not disappointed! Ordered the double cheese chilli scrambled eggs, signature croissant burger and matcha latte.
Taste was pretty great(soft shell crab batter was a little over cooked but did impact the taste inside) and did not disappointing at all us presentation wise, it was amazing as well.
Despite being full with customers and a little understaffed, they were doing the best they could and with a smile too! Lovely simple decor on the inside.

White Mojo has been named as one of the best cafe in Melbourne for age. I always want to visit here for food and coffee and it was great experience. Food was delicious and generous in size. Coffee was good too. Would love to go back again :)
A. J.
Overall a great brunch spot. The staff are friendly and the restuarant is comfortable.
My friend and I shared the french toast and the chili scrambled eggs. Both meals were delicious and the portion sizes were more than enough.
The coffee is great too. Definitely worth a visit!
k. t.
we got the pulled pork tacos with a scrambled egg on the side and the chilli scramble. they were so good! the pork tacos were really juicy and they were generous with the filling. the chilli scramble was a solid portion and rly good as well! went around 10-11am and got a seat immediately + didn’t have to wait long for the food as well. would definitely come back!
J. H.
The coffee was nice and creamy - we had the award winning cheesy scrambled eggs and mushroom croquette.. the cheesy scrambled egg had a generous serving and quite cheesy which was great. For the mushroom croquette.. although the croquette was nice the potato mash seemed to be a bit cold.

Came by on a busy Sunday afternoon and was a little disappointed.
My friends and I came to White Mojo after being told at another brunch location that it was an hour wait for a table. We also expected to wait for a table at White Mojo but was greeted by a staff member who was clearly stressed out due to understaffing.
It was evident that they were understaffed but a little more communication between floor staff would've been helpful. My friends and I were patient and tried to be understanding but some staff in particular made our experience underwhelming. We weren't given menus and cutlery for awhile (she did give us a heads up that it would take awhile but another staff member walked past and was confused as of why we weren't given menus yet).
Food took another 30 minutes to come to the table (we were warned about the wait) and also forgot one of our dishes so had to wait another 10 minutes for that dish. The french toast and chilli scrambled egg were great and the salmon was great for pictures. The croissant burger was our late dish and was disappointing, thick batter and a bit overcooked. Matcha and chai lattes were done well though.
This place has a lot of potential and I would've rated higher if we were greeted a little nicer. I've worked in hospitality before and I understand how stressful and upsetting it can be when it's busy and understaffed but the way the staff handled themselves could've been improved.

A yummy breakfast was called for this morning and this was satisfied from @whitemojo 🤭😊
.
Tucked away in Hardware St, there is ample seating inside and a few outside too. We sat and quickly decided on what to eat:
• Double Cheese Chilli Scrambled Egg
• Crushed Green (Smashed avo) 🥑
.
We’ll start with the avo dish - simple but delish and the semi dried tomatoes were really yummy! The Chilli Scrambled dish was suuuuuppppppeeeerrrrrr cheesy! Really yummy but really rich cos of the cheese in it 🤤
.
A nice little spot that I’d love to come back to one day
K. L.
Plating for the double cheese scrambled eggs wasn’t the best, and it overall just didn’t look very appetising. Taste-wise, there was nothing too special about it despite it being “award winning”, and tasted just like simple scrambled eggs with loads of cheese, a bun and a piece of bacon. The cold drip was way too bitter for my palette, but others might enjoy it.
B. M.
Bright cafe. Just had coffee which was excellent. Batch brew and week soy latte. Must return for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Interesting menu.
C. S.
Tasty coffee and delicious waffles. Makes for an energised start to the day. Also a nice spacious venue with courteous staff.
B. W.
Food was adorable and very pleasing to the eye! The waffle was amazing but the French toast was a little too much egg. Overall highly recommend this cute cafe!
R. K.
Super accommodating and food is incredible! Love the coffee as well! If they still have it get the french toast (if you like sweets) you will not regret it!
J. R.
The chilli-cheese scrambled eggs are award winning so I went with that, and I can see why! Perfect combination of flavours, and the bread was good too, nice atmosphere, spacious. Recommend
T. V.
The chili eggs were fantastic but the salmon was a bit of a disappointment. The coffee was also good.
There was also a long wait (over an hour between arriving, being put on the waiting list and receiving food) when it wasn't even that busy, over half the tables were empty. Not sure why there was a waiting list when so many tables were free.
N. A. N. M.
Absolutely reccomend the Croissant Burger and Matcha Latte. Can’t wait for next time.
T. C. F.
Really nice cafe, the food is good and tasty , coffee is ok but too pricey
R. X.
Really good food with wonderful flavours. Would come back once in a while
P. A.
Amazing food, the chilli eggs are one of the best breakfasts I've had. Alot of thought has gone into creating the menu and portions are very generous. Highly highly recommend.
G. G. T.
Nice food with gorgeous presentation, good service and reasonable prices.
Y. W.
Great breakfast and the staff were very attentive.
We ordered their award winning dish, chilli cheese scrambled eggs and it didn't disappoint. It is really a must they dish if you come here. We also ordered their waffle and they decorated it nicely.
I agree with some of the reviews that you need to come early because about 15 minutes after we arrived around 10am on Saturday, the place was packed.
It was a good place with a nice atmosphere.
R. S.
The Mushroom Croquettes was an amazing dish, good mix of textures with a hint of smokiness. Decent coffee but they didn't have skim at the time of ordering (not sure if always the case)
A. T.
Beautiful food that doesn't break the bank! Definitely worth a visit!
D. H.
Had the mushroom croquettes. It’s not bad. Everything was cold, even the croquettes weren’t hot.
L. L. K.
We had coffee and dessert here. Love the four-less orange cake, it would be great if it’s made a bit less sweet. Cold drip coffee was alright. Personnel was very friendly and helpful, swift service. Mocha with almond milk was good. Fairly nice ambiance. Would come back here for the main course dishes.
P. S.
Great Cafe located in the Northern end of Hardware Lane. This part of Hardware lane is the quieter and not so crowed part.
The cafe has great indoor and outdoor seating. It has great coffee and the menu is quite innovative while still having familiar flavours you will love.
The staff are very friendly and give great service. You may need to wait for a table but that is just an indicator of just how good the place is.
There is little shade on the outdoor seating, so bring a hat if you are planing on seating outside around midday.

One of the coolest cafes in the CBD, White Mojo is a must visit, and worth the wait. Lines can be long, but I find mid week is better than weekends. With it's beautiful white decor and marble tables, this cafe is bright and light with a fabulous atmosphere. It's always busy, but the service is fantastic and staff are so sweet.
The menu has an Asian fusion twist with lots of interesting choices. I love the coffee choices too, with the black sesame latte being a favourite. We had an amazing eggs Benedict and the pancakes, with both dishes being gorgeous in appearance.
The eggs came atop a huge slice of toasted brioche, and a salmon tartare. So divine and tasty. The pancakes were art on a plate, with a huge superfine tuille, fresh fruits and an abundance of torched meringue. The pancakes themselves were delicious, and this is easily one of the best pancake dishes in Melbourne.
White Mojo is definitely a popular venue is busy Hardware Lane, and rightfully so. The combination of cool ambience, modern decor and a sensational menu keeps me coming back, as does the friendly chats with the lovely staff.
J. D.
The staff is really welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious! I especially loved the flamingo waffle, every component was good, nice balance of sweet and a tiny bit sourness of the berries.
N. T.
Great experience here - busy crowds but usually don't need to wait long for a table. New winter menu is innovative and great value. Would highly recommend their signature dish, the Double Cheese Chilli Scrambled Egg. Vegans can also be catered for with the Middle Eastern Salad, side dishes and Crushed Greens (vegetarian, but vegan option). You can't go past the desserts, with the Flamingo Waffle tasting and looking spectacular!
H. L.
Nice brunch spot with Asian fusion brunch dishes. We had the signature croissant burger and the double cheese chili scrambled eggs. Both were very good but the croissant burger was probably a touch better. Was perfect as a breakfast dish whereas the double cheese scrambled eggs were probably a touch heavy for that early in the morning. Felt like eating a pizza for breakfast. Was delicious either way! Coffee was on point but the black sesame latte was really nice as well
D. L.
Came here for lunch on a Sunday, the cafe was almost full and is located in the famed hardware st. The cafe decor and styling was nice and lived up to its white naming. We ordered the big breakfast and the soft shell crab croissant. The food was good quality and well presented, definitely not ur average cafe. The portion sizes were a little small and dishes were quite expensive. The staff were quite professional and attentive. But overall a pleasant experience.
C. B. K. L.
Nice vibe & food. One of the best brunch in Melbourne as ppl said. I agree with other comments that the female staff needs more sleep :))
C. D.
Great quality coffee and unique desserts..!! Black sesame latte is one of their specialities which is a must try.. the desserts look fantastic and they are consistent with their dishes.! I believe each dish here is given a lot of attention and they always looks and tastes great. Both at the CBD and Glen locations their quality of service and food is outstanding.. highly recommended..!
A. L.
The signature croissant burger is omfg amazing. You get a whole soft shell crab that is fried to a crispy perfection, the croissant is crispy, butter and flakey, the smoked eel and pickles adds the bite and the fried egg adds that runny egg goodness. It's bloody delicious!
The coffees was good too, the cold drip was smooth and complex.
Taking off one star because they didn't have baby chairs available making it not children friendly.
Overall a great place with great staff and good
M. B.
Amazing brunch food! Sweet and savoury options. Flamingo waffles very impressive. Only negative hot drinks not hot (coffee and hot chocolate) and they took a while.
A. E.
Incredible. Food, service, atmosphere were just perfect. The loveliest staff, very welcoming. The dish was plated well, with fun concept additives (like bacon snow) and not too pricey (a little pricey). I ordered the pork croquettes, which were beautiful and well worth the price. 2x coffees and 1x meal cost $35.
J. P.
The food was quite expensively priced although the plating and unique experience that the dishes provided were enough to make it enjoyable. We had the signature croissant and the salmon, with the charcoal croissant for dessert. Also the black latte, which has been quite popular over Instagram. The sesame taste in the latte makes it quite unique although still enjoyable. The interior was as you'd expect of most other brunch places, although nothing too special. The atmosphere is still enjoyable though and the service was good.
C. L.
Great place to chill and hangout. Honest staff and good food.
K. F.
Cute little cafe in Melbourne, good coffee and good breakfast food! Had the Salmon Benedict, presentation and taste was great! Try to be early especially on weekends, because there might be a queue.
V. W.
High ceiling and assorted seating. Open kitchen and also where the barista makes the coffee.
Matcha latte and Sesame latte tasted okay. Strong aromas but slightly watered down and the matcha was kind of bitter.
The mfc Waffles were amazing though. Never have I had a buttermilk fried chicken where the batter was so crispy and meat was tender. It was perfectly paired with the bacon jam and saffronparmasen mayo which gave a fragrant smell/taste. Adding to that the chilli maple syrup was very sweet and complimented with the cheese waffles and perectly sunny side up egg.

Stumbled across White Mojo after a mid week holiday. What a perfect way to end the mini vacation. Breakfast was incredible, each of us ordering something different showing off the varied menu.
Thankyou to the team at Mojo White for an awesome dining experience.
S. L.
A typical brunch place. Service was great and the waitress was very attentive towards us.
Ordered the famous black latte ☕. It has the sesame fragrant but it tasted quite bland. In my opinion for $6.50, once is enough. haha.
For the croissant burger 🦀, I don't think the $24 is justified. Portion wise it was quite disappointing and the fried soft shell crab was too greasy (or maybe I was unlucky that day).
The other dish was smoked salmon. It definitely has the wow factor but tasted average so I'll say the price paid is for the experience. 😊

Not a fan of brunch but absolutely enjoyed dining experience here :) I often feel like I don't get my money's worth at brunch places but White Mojo was different. I had "Mushroom Risotto" which was surprisingly savory and delicious. There were different types of mushrooms in it and they all tasted fresh! Highly recommend a visit here
Y. Z.
It is so awesome place to have coffee and food. No need to say how good taste food are severed here, the service is next level. I was telling one of staff their apron look so cool, and if they are fro sell. She and her colleague tried so hard to get me the brand of the apron and showed me where to get it. They willing to go that far for something that irrelevant to their business, I believe they will try even harder to guarantee their customers have best food and services they can provide.
Highly recommended.
C. L.
Overall wonderful dining experience for Sunday brunch. Food served promptly, prices reasonable. Lighting could be warmer.
C. L.
Order the black sesame latte! It was so good, my table ordered 3 of them. I enjoyed the coffee too. It’s one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in Melbourne.
Soft shell crab croissant is really good. Poached eggs were done really well on the salmon tartare.
The only downside is that there’s no high chairs for babies, and we had 2 in our group.
L. P.
We stopped by for brunch on a Saturday and the waitress told us we may have to wait 20 minutes which was fine! We only had to wait 3 minutes which was even better. The coffee was absolutely delicious and the food was incredible. I wanted to try everything on the menu and the next time I return to Melbourne, I will be back!
N. B.
The "Double Chilli Cheese Scrambled Eggs" was really good!
J. A. Y.
When something wins an award, you know it’s bound to be good! And they’ve won yet another award, my heart 🥰
FOOD: I ordered the Double Cheese Chilli Scramble after seeing it on practically every Melbourne foodie blog and it truly didn’t disappoint! I usually revolve towards sweet dishes but I couldn’t help
myself and it was amazing. Many people say it’s overwhelming and good to share but imo, it was just the perfect portion for me! HAHAHA. It was super filling but surprisingly wasn’t sick! I was afraif the cheese would be too much but honestly when I was done with my meal, the plate was completely clean! It wasn’t too rich and I LOVED how it was actually spicy! Some chilli scrambled eggs would break my heart by not even being spicy but this definitely had the perfect amount of heat! The bacon was cooked really well though I would’ve like it to be crispier but I’m not gonna nitpick but the BUN was what completed it. I have a bias towards black buns because of the aesthetic and somehow they just have better textures and flavour and honestly, White Mojo’s was amazing! All the flavours came together to make a truly memorable dish that definitely deserves it’s amazing and delicious reputation! And for $22.50, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. I’ve paid more for dishes that were not filling but this dish is gonna fill you up, I promise. My friend ordered the waffles and it was truly a sight to see and it is a very beautiful dish but the texture of the waffle was amazing as well! I didn’t try much of it but from a taste, it definitely impressed me.
COFFEE: Unfortunately, the coffee was abit meh for me! The black latte was absolutely beautiful and the coffee art is gorgeous but in terms of flavour, it was just average. I would go back for the food but I’ll pass on the coffee.
SERVICE: The service was amazing! Our waitress was really sweet and attentive and especially on a dreary Monday morning, it helped to have a really friendly and welcoming waitress to make our Monday abit better!
All in all, I understand the hype for White Mojo’s food and would most definitely come back for their award-winning dish and maybe try some other dishes! Definitely worth a visit and try, you won’t regret it!
C. J. M.
Queues for 30 mins for brunch at 10am. Food and drinks are very Instagram worthy and tasted good as well. Very efficient service but the table is too small for 4 of us with our meals. Quite cramp. A place worth going if u are in Melbourne City. Reasonable priced
C. C.
A little overrated and overpriced. The french toast was good but after a while, it becomes too sour. The 'egg' was a nice surprise with choc egg shell. Sorbet was good. The lattes were not much of a wow factor.
J. S.
What presentable and stunning food! You will not find a place with such Instagramable meals - each is truly a work of art! Fortunately they taste great too, the hotcakes are more of a pancake, so after expecting big fluffy ricotta hotcakes, it was a bit of a let down, but hey #firstworldproblems. The space is beautiful, bright and the low-fi hip hop makes it very contemporary. We shall certainly be going back and trying more of their amazing looking creations! Great work to all involved! ❤
N. K.
Very bad experience with The White Mojo.
The ice cream (or maybe not ice cream) on my French Toast is really hard. It feels like it’s just got out of the fridge.
I have to wait for around 5-8 mins for it to melt before I start to eat.
The next dish we get found a hair in it, but they replace a new one for us immediately.
Overall, not so happy...
S. S.
Good food n nice ambience
J. D. N.
I had to wait for a table close to 1 hour, and after we ordered our food, It took other 40 min. The place was nice and the brunch was OK, nothing really outstanding that justified the waiting.
F. L.
The brunch dishes were outstanding and the presentation were fancy!
Very good coffee latte as well.
The deco may not be as interesting as other cafes, but the quality of food won’t let you down.
D. R.
The cafe has both an outdoor seating area and an inside, with different patterns and styles.
The outside features a more tradicional and Melbourne style, with the little white wood tables, but with a touch of mystery to it, due to the shadows that the building naturally creates. Maybe not just mysterious but actually mystic even. Very enjoyable to hang outside and that’s where I opted to have brunch.
The inside is absolutely stunning too though and a whole different world. The walls have a beehive pattern and it resembles a glove even and they also feature painting of very peculiar drawings and drafts. Skulls. But not just any skulls - artistic and flower themed skulls! Absolutely incredible. Each table is also carefully taken care of and I loved and they feature some flowers that are dry yet beautiful.
Crushed Green - a combination of avocado and green pea mash that in a sentence is A WHOLE LOT OF A MEAL 👌 seriously if you’re a avocado toast lover, you’ll absolutely drool over this one. The serving is absolutely fantastic and very generous and the fact that it has peas inside (both whole and blended!) makes it quite interesting and different than the other places I’ve visited and when for the usual and classic avo toast. There’s also an extra avocado tahini purée that for someone that prefers sweet meals, was slightly too much 😂, but in an objective perspective, it’ll be very much loved and appreciated by most savoury lovers. As you can see, they don’t space of avocado and it such it great in quality and overall taste! My favourite part was definitely and undoubtedly the mixed seeds nuts of top of the whole spread. I love any church to meals and that was outstanding and just the ultimate touch to make me happy with this meal👌it also comes with some cherry tomato, nicely dressed and some radish that I was a fan too. I personally was welcomed the poached egg that came with a special touch to it - some dark powder to it! Stunning! On the bottom you have two pieces of crunchy and toasted sourdough that are previously also sprinkled with olive oil and give a difference to other places. You can also add chicken to the meal if you want to make it more filling 🤗
Middle Eastern Salad - mixed filling about this one! Absolutely in love with the ingredients and how the meal came - presentation is great! It is an absolute wholesome meal too as it combines chickpea hummus with a mix of barley and lentils dressed in rapeseed vinaigrette. However in only comes with rostered carrots, some avocado and some pieces of orange and I personally feel that it needs some kind of bread in it so you can actually get some more consistency and crunchiness to the meal. I actually asked for a side of sourdough and the extra turned out to be the perfect solution and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So I would definitely recommend that if you’re visiting and you want to have this, ask for a little piece of bread and you’ll see how life changing it is! If comes with a couple of roasted hazelnuts and zatar too which I also think there should be more. Despite loving the ingredients separately here, I think that the whole predominantly fat mix of hummus and avocado is too muc
A. L.
There might be a wait to grab a seat, but the foods’ were delicious, unique and gorgeous. May be a little pricy in comparison to the other brunch places too. Nevertheless, smoke salmon was one of my favourite. Same goes for their matcha waffles and white mojo croissant burger, which comes with crab meats.
R. T.
Melbourne's home of the croissant burger!
Their award winning signature croissant burger with soft shell crab, chipotle mayo, smoked eel, pickled cucumber, chorizo crumb, fried egg and buttery croissant is always a crowd fave.
Matcha French Toast, Matcha meringue, strawberry coulis, freeze dried & fresh
fruit, chocolate crumb, matcha sauce and green tea ice cream taste so good.
Pork Benny, slow cooked barbecue pulled pork, compressed apple, seasonal vegetables, chorizo crumb, hollandaise, poached
eggs and sesame brioche.
Great place for brunch!
A. T.
We had a great time at white mojo, the food was good. I had the big breakfast and thought it was quite valued for money. The ingredients for that were fresh. Everything was prepared with care and it should in the finish product. Delicious, fatty and very filling.
I gotta drop a couple of stars because the chai latte was a bit lackluster, it felt like a milk with the fragrance of tea. Maybe it's my liking for chai lattes to be really fragrant.
And the signature crossiant and softshell crab had fantastic bold flavours, I was worried the crab couldn't come through with everything going on but the butter from the crossiant really complimented it. However, the crossiant was a little tough and not too flaky which had me a little disappointed.
Over all it was a great experience with the friendliness of the staff really pulling through, we even got a free 🍰!!
Y. C.
People were lining up on Sunday morning. Waited about 15min at 12pm for table for 2. We ordered Mojo Pancake and Flamingo Waffle. The price is reasonable for the taste and portion. I do like some ideas eg the fairy floss and dried lychee. I enjoyed the coffee as well, quite smooth and milky.
M. K.
This cafe famous in creativity in drinks and food. Impressive black latte, very interesting seaseme flavor. But very expensive. Their soft shell carb crossiant burger is very creative, however the soft shell crab batter is too thick. Not as light as Japanese version as I expect this is a Japanese and French fusion. I like they draw the café name using chilli mayo. Price for food is average. This café is not small, but very pack during busy hours. Better make booking if doesn't want to wait. We waited a bit for our food, certainly not expected to be this slow. This cafe can fit large group of dinners. They also have few tables outside too. IT located in a small laneway, but very convenient with public transport. Parking not easy to find nearby. I will come back to try others.

One of the best cafes in Melbourne hands down!
Love the food!!!!!!
It was so good we had to come back again before we left.
Soft shell crab croissant is to die for!
Coffee is also good - not the best in Melbourne but not very far from the top.
Staff are very attentive and friendly.

The best of best, one of my to-go brunch spot, never been disappointed.
They just changed winter menu, we tried the Pork Croquet & Salmon Benedict. The pork croquet come with cauliflower are perfect combination of vegetables and meat! Delicious and healthy. cured salmon with thick cut French toast plus super delicious hollandaise, I just like how all the ingredients come together! So yum!

Saw some of the reviews and was worried we wouldn't get a good feed here but the big breakfast was excellent! Great coffee too. Wasn't expecting the 20min wait for a table tho. Plus the seating is quite cramped and noisy. Just come for the food, coffee and pretty interiors.
천.
The BEST Brunch place in Melbourne for sure.
Went to Hardware Society yesterday but this place has much better food, vibe, and great coffee for sure. We had Salmon Tartar and Smashed Pumpkin. And the plating was so beautiful. I’ll upload the pics later but for the people who visits Melbourne should definitely come here and enjoy the Brunch.
C. A. (.
Had probably the best brunch of my life at White Mojo! The signature softshell crab croissant burger is incredible.
e.
The only cafe for brunch at Eastland and not too bad, but no vegan menu items which is a bit annoying.
A. T.
All the food listed in the menu sounded awesome and I had troubles deciding what to eat. Ended up selecting the inked brioche with smoked belly bacon, chili mayo (yums), toasted sweet corn, and cheese after visiting their Instagram page. Trust me, the food is good here. But coffee is average.
Cafe decor is mostly white. It is a bit dull, but bright. Good for photography. Place can be crowded during peak hours, do come early or cater extra time.

Loved the food and drinks! Great ambience and service. Food could come slightly quicker though but good time to catch up! The scrambled egg was bomb !

This cafe in melbourne is probably one of the best ones ive visited whilst being there. White mojo definitely know how to make a great cup of coffee as well as serve up delicious brunch food! High recommend this cafe!! Worth a visit. Their double cheese chilli scrambled eggs is to die for as well as their soft shell crab crossiant!!
J.
Food was very good. It is a little pricey but I would say it is on par with similar cafes in the vicinity so I can’t really complain about that. I felt like the vibe and the decor was a a little off. Too many people packed in for the look and feel they are going for. Service was decent but could be improved. Overall it was good but short of being great.
E. S.
White Mojo is a coffee roaster and cafe. Tricky food that is trying to get as many flavours on a plate as possible. I had the chilli cheese scrambled eggs. It was good. We had an average experience because of the poor service. We were asked to wait outside in the cold. When we noticed many people walking and being seated I asked about our table. They had forgotten about us outside. Then they got the order wrong. In a strange move they offered to pay for our beverages but still charged us for the food we did not order, so we payed the same anyway. And in my view taking hash brown out of a box from a catering supply company does not warrant good cooking, may as well hit Macdonalds for the same hash browns.
r. w.
The quality of food here is amazing, admittedly I didn't want to eat what we had ordered because it was so pretty. Everything tastes great. My first black was surprisingly not that bad. The waffle was probably my favourite dish of the whole week.

definitely the best coffee in melbourne cbd and the most friendly staff. every time we come to white mojo, we are treated with lots of warmth and friendliness.
their meals are art pieces in their own right, they are phenomenal!
H. Y.
This is such an amazing breakfast find. Super location, interesting food choices and a great service. We totally loved everything.
G. F.
This cafe is one of the most popular in the city and I can understand why. They offer more interesting dishes than your stock standard avo smash or big brekkie. Their award-winning double cheese chilli scramble stands out a lot in taste and presentation. There's nothing bland about it. A more veg-heavy alternative is the Mediterranean salad with roast carrots served on a bed of barley, lentils, and heaps of hummus. It also includes avo for creaminess and hazelnut for crunch. The dish could have used a bit more salt but I guess that's where my side of haloumi came in. My soy flat white was also delicious.
L. K.
Nice place to enjoy my brunch with friends! The food was quite big for me so we can share two plates with 3 people. Also staffs was nice!

Do yourself a favour, this place is amazing! It doesn’t matter what you order it will look stunning and taste fabulous.

Very nice breakfast. Innovative and thoughtful renditions of classic brunch dishes. Coffee was very good. Milk was textured beautifully. Not cheap but not expensive either (~$25 for coffee and a main). Definitely worth a visit. Can get busy so staff can be busy and may take a bit of time.
Y. J.
Chili burger was good but risotto was too creamy.. but these two go along well
Um.. compare to price, these are not worth to pay more than $22 per dish while wating in a long line
A. N.
Great little spot if you don’t want to join the crowds at Hardware Societe. My wife and I have been a few times and if we were honest, we love it more then Hardware Societe. The food is good, there’s a variety between the sweet and savoury items. Love the coffees there too and the matcha latte is something I always have when I’m there. I haven’t tried the black sesame latte but it looks intriguing.
The Tropical Mille Feuille is amazing and so is the Matcha French Toast. Big Mac is a little too heavy for my liking yummy. Probably one of our newest favourite brunch place in the city but it gets crowded quick so go early on the weekends!

Highly recommend under:
All Day Brunch:
Signature Croissant Burger

Black Latte with Bonsoy (Vegan)
As always be patient as good yummy foods need to que for seat 😎

I had the salmon tartare! Amazing food and the experience was phenomenal... it was smoked in a glass, they removed the glass and as the smoke cleared the artistic plating of my meal was revealed to me... eye catching and delicious!
Great service as well
E. K.
I’ve seen this brunch spot multiple times on Instagram and really wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! I had the mojo pancakes, and the presentation was beautiful and the food was gorgeous! The cafe is beautifully decorated, light walls and situated down a little alleyway near Melbourne central. Believe the hype and give it a try!

White Mojo has been the talk of town within the cafe scene in Melbourne for a while, so it was time to pop in here to check it out. 😀
The venue is top notch: modern, sleek and very Melbournian. We loved the interior design and the overall atmosphere had something special that added value to the venue. 🗻
We ordered their famous black latte as well as their Orange Hot Cakes and the Croissant Burger. 🍴
The food was spot on, tasty and definitely worth the visit. On the other hand the flavour of our black lattes were more towards the milk than black sesame seeds. But it may have been just a simple mistake. 🙂
Thank you for having us 🙏 we will be back soon 😍
J. B.
A bit expensive but worth it for a once-off. I had the salmon which was delicious and it had a unique flavour. Coffee was great too. It was very quiet so I didn't have to wait and service was quick.
There are probably better places for the price but there is also a lot worse!
J. T.
Delicious food. There award winning burger is sooooo good!! Double cheese chilli burger (may have gotten the name wrong?). Absolutely delectable!
M. M.
Had an enjoyable brunch with work friends on a Friday morning. Some of the meals were a bit showy - including salmon smoked (not smoked salmon) with accompanying unveil, made for social media and likes.
Coffee was enjoyable. The meals choices did seem quite heavy and rich, maybe not the place if you are looking for light meal
V. V.
Cool little Cafe in the city in an alleyway. Great place to catch up with a mate, to grab brunch or even like a dessert. Would go again
R. S.
Great vibe if you can manage to get in. The lines are crazy during brunch time 10-11. Recommend the Salmon Benedict. The crispy fish skin served with it was a great touch.
C. W.
Menu seems to have gotten smaller, but perhaps it's because it's early January and it's the quiet season? I had the signature croissant burger, which was really good, but unsure if the price was worth it. All in all wasn't as impressed as I was the other times I've been there but willing to go back in a couple of months to give it another go
Q. M.
C. L.
Limited menu (if you go there alot) but their breakfast is amazing!
So worth it!
There's also one in Glen Waverley!!
g.
cute location, lovely customer service amd the food was really nice. definitely worth a visit.
A. L.
I'd say their menu is a hit and miss situation. It's either absolutely amazing or just downright weird. We recently tried their Salmon Confit, which was weird for me. But the Salmon Benedict was absolutely awesome.
They're well-known for its black latte (sesame latte) and its unique Signature Croissant Burger. Double Chilli Cheese Scramble Egg, on the other hand, tasted like a pizza in a burger form.
D. J.
Beautiful Instagramable food, waffles were delicious but rest of the meal was average. But nice cafe
E. L. Y.
Always a place that I enjoy coming back to!
A. H.
Excellent food with a smile, friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Like most cafes of its type the food is a little on the expensive side, but it definitely felt like it was worth it.
S. T.
Great atmosphere, nice decor, friendly staff, great coffee, food was visually amazing, but pretty common taste wise and pretty expensive.
P. S.
So impressed with the brunch options at White Mojo on Hardware Lane in Melbourne! They can do a vegetarian version for almost all of their dishes. We ordered the Smash Green which was a basic avo smash, but with a lovely hint of spice in the pea smash.
The Salmon Benedict and their signature soft shell crab croissant burger which was loved by the seafood lovers.
The highlight was the flamingo waffle with strawberry gelato, red velvet macaron, raspberry gel and lavender yoghurt. Absolutely delicious
J. S.
Absolutely delicious meal. I had the scrambled eggs and they were divine. The place was quite busy but worth the wait.

Went on a cold winter morning, the interior was clean & modern. Ordered the cheese chilli scrambled eggs and salmon benedict, the food was presented very well and tasted great too. Staff were very nice and attentive, very pleased with the whole experience! Just exactly what you'd want for a brunch experience
N. A.
Delicious breakfast and coffee in Melbourne Cbd. The big breakfast was tasty and a great sized portion. The croissant was amazing too.
C. G. T.
Must try their "black burger". The cheese and the scrambled egg are very good combo. Coffee is so so.
V. b. S.
Good ambience. Coffee is smooth and full of flavour. Food is nice and 5 stars for presentation.
m. L.
Here’s food and coffee are really good. Especially, burger of the menu is something like a sensation. At least for me. No. Everyone. I can recommend you, if you have a problem to choose menu. Just ordering burger. And the latte art is ultimately awesome. So so many traveller was shooting a coffee. If you are in melbourne. You have to go. Once in your life.
A. T.
Must have the chilli scrabbled eggs. Good amount of heat. Otherwise, menu is small but has decent variation. Good vibe. A little loud at things.
J. B.
Their soft shell crab burger (with a croissant used as the bun) is unique and delicious! Definitely recommend trying it if you find yourself at White Mojo!
M. S.
Excellent coffee! Try the expresso tonic - refreshing and brings out the flavour of the beans.
The White Mojo Croissant is also very good !
S. T.
Wonderful breakfast menu. The signature dish was superb. My family totally enjoyed the dishes.
A. S.
Fantastic big breakfast with holindaise sauce added. Strong coffee. Warm customer service.
G. H.
Was having the ice cream waffle and smoked salmon for brunch. both dishes have good presentation, i like the way they trap the smoke in a glass lid and then released it infront of the customer
C. N. D. G.
My new found Tita (Aunty) Gina and I 😊 Had Smoked Salmon Tartare, Pork Benny and Black soy latte.
All I say is superb!
k. s.
Pricey but the food's wonderful n to die for, coffee is ok. Highly recommended.
C. A.
Look at that detail! Absolutely gorgeous latte art and plating! The coffee and food came out really quickly and they are just simply delicious. 10/10 would bring a friend here
W. C.
Good looking food but not tastes good. Sooooo rich that I couldn't finish it. If you're not a fan of brunch, like me, not recommend to go there. Not worth the money.
A. A.
Pancakes and waffles were quite good but the waffles were a bit too sweet for my liking. Mushroom risotto was delicious as well. Bit pricey.
R. C.
Great menu with so many tasty sounding options, I'll definitely have to come back.
Beautiful presentation
Go just a bit earlier (~930) to avoid the crowds
K. D.
Loved this place, they make an awesome machiato and adventurous food. We couldn't decide so chose our top two and split both do we could try 2 meals. Both were winners!
A. S.
Great if you love pretty food but wouldn't recommend for breakfast, was far too sweet! Also a bit pricey but that is to be expected for the area.
S. G.
AMAZING food no wonder they had this black brioche bun as an award winner!
C. G.
The place is little loud due to hard surfaces trendy crowd food is nice but pricey the black latte is an interesting concoction try it atleast once.
S. B.
Great location and very interesting and unique creations of dishes. Just one star less because i cgecked the menu online and they didn't have locally what i was looking forward to while queuing
Y. K.
All good!
Special Black Latte was so good😊
M. S.
Good place for a Melbourne brunch. Good food & good chai. Not many vegan options, but offered gluten free toast.
X. H.
Friendly staff and beautiful plates & coffee! Best place for food photographing! For the food itself, Maybe healthy, but just ok for taste!
C.
Quiet little breakfast place
Y. G.
My friend recommended this cafe to us, and we were there on weekday morning for breakfast. Luckily we didn’t have to wait in line for a table as it wasn’t peak time.
Food tasted great as much as it looked. The presentation of food was just beautiful, and we enjoyed all dishes we ordered. We were there just for breakfast first but then we saw our next table having pancake, and it looked so good so we ended up having it too. Service was friendly and efficient too.
I’ll come back here next time I visit Melbourne, and recommend to my friend.
N. C.
Insta-friendly place to have lovely brunch.
M.
Hidden gem with quirky coffee and food
ト.
Mocha is amazing! Has the Chocolate flavor but didn't takeover the coffee fragrance, chai latte was come with a pot, so it's like a double
I. S.
White Mojo is like most traditional brunch places. Artistic and great tasting food. Creative drinks. Attentive waitresses.
D. C.
Awesome food and great service . Would recommend to anyone .
L.
Typical Melbourne brunch place, must try!
Some great menu options.
M. H.
It seems like everything is about the looks in this place, proven by the ig foto pros on every table. Sadly the taste gets a bit forgotten with all the shiny display - even the staff looked very accurate. Prices are on the expensive side, service was very attentive and super friendly.
F. N.
The food quality was good and there were big portions
C. D.
From Syd to Melb. This place was being my first stop.
I ordered Big Breakfast and Double Cheese Chili. EVERYTHING IS REALLY GOODD
S. M. S. A.
Good place to catch up with friends .. we did enjoy our foods .. The waffle was ok..
K. R.
Great little find on the north side of Hardware lane. Super friendly service and a great menu of delicate flavours. The coffee is, as you'd expect in Melbourne, excellent, but it's the warm & friendly service and menu that are stand-outs.
W. A.
An amazing place for brunch!!! Went at 2pm, was seated and served quickly. Took salmon benedict, instead of British muffin they used a soft thick toast and instead of smoked salmon, it tasted more like marinated diced salmon. The fish skin was an interesting touch but didn't go well with the plate. Overall really tasty and nice coffee as well.
J. F.
Excellent coffee, yummy breakfast options and very accommodating to our pram (once we got up the entrance stairs)
J. K.
Great coffee, friendly staff and tasty food. One of the best cafes in the area.
I. M.
The waffle was so DELICIOUS but I didn’t like the matcha latte 💛
S. G.
Great place for a delicious decently portioned meal. Service was fast despite being busy.
S. H.
Excellent coffee and friendly staff! Very nice place to sit down for breakfast, brunch, or just a coffee! I ordered a flat white and it was great. Had a look at their menu and it looked very modern and tasty. Will definitely be going back because it's right in the city and around the corner from work. Very clean and cozy decor. Highly recommended!
M. B.
One of the best cafe. I came to try it as my friend recommended to me. The coffee was OK but the food so yummy I loved it so creative
C. C. (.
Friendly staff and good service, food was a bit slow to come out and portions a bit small for the prices.
F. A.
Best brunch I have ever had in my life, not kidding. So we line there for a bit long time about 20 minutes, but it actually worth! We ordered one chilli scrambled egg and a signature croissant burger. Those were amazing!
M. K.
It was quiet since now is Australian's holiday season. Food and Coffee were nice.
C. T.
The coffee at this place is one of the best I have had in Melbourne! They have a black sesame latte that looks really good. I had the signature croissant burger and it was delicious. The only thing I din't like at all was the layout/ambiance of the cafe. It's a bit pricey too, however, just for the coffee it is worth a visit.
A. D.
White Mojo is an iconic brunch destination in the heart of the CBD. Firstly, the decor is lovely, so light and bright and nicely decorated - very Instagrammable!
I had the hardest time deciding what to order as I wanted to try everything. We ordered the Foie Gras & Pork Croquette and the Double Cheese Chilli Scrambled Egg. The latter is an award winning dish for very good reason! It honestly was like eating a cheeseburger but better (was served on a black brioche) and breakfast style. Such an innovative dish, and I'm not usually the biggest fan of cheese but loved it with this. The croquettes were great too - loved the flavours.
Would definitely recommend it as a must do brunch in Melbourne if only here for a short time!
M. B.
Best cafe in Melbourne, superb food! Always my go to! 👏
Y. H.
I ordered a Flamingo Waffle.
Friendly staff who are open for a nice chit chat.
Pretty interior design.
Instagram-worthy theatrical food presentation.
So if you are looking for a cute girls time with good-looking photos on social media, this is the place to go.
Food-wise, it's more about aesthetics than other elements such as nutritional values, the balance of the tastes, etc.
M. D. N.
The food and customer service was AWESOME!
G. S.
Fantastic brunch in a modern setting.. loved it..
K. M.
So tasty, cozy and yummy. Good for lunch.
H. S.
Few times being here, nice and friendly staff, good food and coffee as well. My big breakfast was a bit cold today. But doesn't matter. It doesn’t make me to give them less than 5 stars.
S. B.
Good is so tasty and amazingly presented. Friendly and fun staff too
a. y.
fine, not bad, but not that impressing
P. H.
Good friendly service. The seafood risotto was nothing special but well presented. Good atmosphere and decent lighting. A popular place locally and likely I will continue to only get the scrambled eggs on return visits.
J. M.
Had a great breakfast here. The hotcakes were delicious and beautifully presented, very sweet which was expected. Service was good. The only disappointment was the hot chocolate which was very milky and not very chocolatey. Would return again.
M.
The food was good. Had the make your own. You get two large pieces of sourdough, a decent portion of eggs and 3/4 of a whole avocado for the price. Would definitely warn against the hashbrown though, it's a rip off for what you get. Also disappointing they don't have lactose free milk.
自.
It used to be a restaurant in the city, but now it is deserted due to the epidemic. I am so sad!
D. N.
A little bit long queued but it's worth it. Food is tasty, friendly staff and cool atmosphere
d. m.
This place is so delicious that I went for breakfast there three mornings out of four while in Melbourne! The coffee is sooo good and their attention to detail is even in the coffee. If you eat GF, ask the waiter for the options you have from the menu as although one or two options are shown, you actually have more options! And the staff is awesome as well!
J. B.
Go early to avoid the queues! By far one of the most exciting brunches I've had, ordered the smoked salmon and it did not disappoint. Came out in a cloche which was removed with smoke pouring out. Beautiful cooked and loved the extra parsnips.
P. H.
Great spot for amazing coffee and they have a delicious brunch menu.
A. A.
Staff were friendly, food and coffee was delicious, just a little disappointed as I brought 2 of my friends here, one of them was from interstate who I hadn't seen for years and once we had finished our breakfast we were rushed off our table. "We need this table guys".
For paying customers who were never informed when we entered that there was a time limit when dining - We left and no one sat at our table??? Bizarre!
I. S.
Amazing place! Small and cozy. The food is of great quality and tastes is mind-blowing! The waitstaff are also really nice and entertaining!! 10/10
Might have to wait a while if you go at lunchtime though, so maybe go a bit earlier if you can.
G. D.
Nice Flag white coffee but other food was little bit salty. But a nice place to take a photo.
3. L.
Very Friendly Service and Good coffee and food.
H. M.
I arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed but they offered to have the brunch ready if we ordered as soon as possible. There was no rush so we decided to just have coffee with some cakes instead. I had red velvet lamington cake and it was so moist and yummy! It was the best lamington cake ever 😍 I will definitely go back to try some of their brunch dishes too in near future.
S. G.
Loved the black latte. The caramelised banana was good. Will be back
M. N.
Good coffee. The takeaway cup size is small, white lid should not be used (lipstick stains, ladies). Food options look promising but didn't have a chance to try.
P. S.
Went for breakfast. There were a lot of meals on offer that are not your standard fare. We slected meals we’d never had before, including the Yorkshire puddings and charcoal croissant, both are highly recommended. We Could not fault the meals or service, Decent coffee but not exceptional. A bit on the pricey side, but we expected that.
V. M.
If you need a robust pick me up at 3pm on a Saturday in the CBD then visit White Mojo for your fix. Check out the Peanut Butter French Toast to send your insulin through the roof. Airy modern fit out accompanied with good tunes.
V. L.
Amazing food with great service, my favourite was the chilli scrambled egg! Yummy 😋 it was busy when we arrived, so we waited about 20mins for a table but it was definitely worth it. Food was delicious and well presented, definitely will be back.
c. b.
Loved this cafe, surpassed my expectations. Great coffee and meals, I had the salmon confit. Shoutout to James for his great service!!
A. T.
Service was okay. Need to be more accommodating for altering menu items. A bit of a let down rhat this coffee place doesn't serve skim milk. It's 2019 people even our nuts have milk!
They also ran out of ingredients of items that we wanted which made it particularly difficult to choose items off the menu, especially not being able to alter the menu. I can understand that sometimes this is out of their circle of influence, but they need to be able to adapt and keep up with the demands of the customer needs.
C. H.
Nice coffee shop but busy and loud. Definitely, agree with others that it is a place for Insta fans. The smoked salmon is not smoked, maybe a nice try for a tartare. Benedict eggs were served cold and on top of this chai latte was also cold! Food options are in general pretty heavy and overpriced. I agree the cashier was a bit rude.
M.
One of the best places ever! Highly recommend
T. A. N.
We had the black burger and croissant burger. When the food was brought out , there was a bug crawling on the white cheese floss on top of the burger. The waitress brought it back to the kitchen to resolve, probably they just wiped off the white floss part. Overall the food was very tasty however later on it became a bit salty for my tastebud. The flat white I ordered wasn’t good neither, just too much milk. Would I come back given the number of Cafes in mel?Probably not
J. Y.
Wait staff were friendly however the male barista who took my order wasnt at all. No smile no greeting or anything. Took our order, and walked away. No interaction nor did he repeat our order. Nada. It was early morning and it wasnt that busy at all. Waited half an hour for our food, even the table who came much later gotten their food before us. Again the same guy attended us. Turned out that the printer did not print out our order. That's the reason given. I cant say I'm convinced by that.
Again no smile no nothing. Very bad service from this particular male staff I'd say. Our food came within 5 minutes after said food order were printed out.
Food was okay. A little pricey. Limited option. Presentation was insta worthy. Given the experience, it'd be a one time thing.
E. L.
This place is good, but doesn't quite live up to it's own high standards. The food and drinks were fancy, but only good. It was missing an attention to detail; e.g. the hot chocolates were weak and the pumpkin smash was missing an ingredient. Overall, it was still above average, but I was expecting a lot more.
j. J. (.
So delicious we ordered three dishes - chilli scrambled eggs, signature croissant burger and waffles. All of the dishes were absolutely amazing, honestly don't understand why it's only 3.9 stars, even waiting time wasn't too long, we got a table within 10mins on Saturday just before 12pm.

Delicious and Perfect to take pictures.

Haven't been very impressed with White Mojo, I remember going for their soft shell crab croissant a few years back and it was incredibly disappointing and not worth the hype. Came back recently with a few friends and the lady at the front taking down names for a table seemed grumpy and like as if she hated her job, and people who came later than us were given tables before us which felt unfair. Food was nice albeit a little OTT. Unsure if I will continue coming, but the location itself is a nice cafe, and easy on the eyes.
B. S.
Always here for Brunch, never fail to disappoint me. The presentation of the food was just beautiful - 100% effort. Though, the price are quite pricey but it's worth it. A pleasant experience!
V. Z.
Fancy brunch, nice coffee, very good
R. A. P.
We came here for the first time on Easter Saturday at around 9am. The place was quiet but the staff didn’t look friendly? One of them had a long stare, needed more sleep maybe 😅 anyhow, we ordered black sesame latte, latte, big breakfast and softshell crab croissant for $68 (including surcharge). All yummy but nothing spectacular. Generous serving though! The black sesame could be a tad stronger. There was some bitey bits but not enough flavor i guess?
On a side note, be careful with the stairs especially on your way out, as the last step was quite steep. i was wondering myself on my way in if someone ever slipped on the stairs and then literally saw someone missed the last step and slipped right through...
M. E.
Big serving is good
J. D.
Great array of choices on the menu from simple museli to full Aussie breakfast, and it was simply one of the best cooked breakfasts I have ever had (poached eggs were perfect and nothing was overcooked). Good portion sizes offset the cost, which is a little pricey for breakfast but worth it.
M. R.
Absolutely amazing coffee with one of the best coffee art I have ever seen. The breakfast is pretty good, the chilli cheese omelette is to die for! Been there a number of times, never had a bad experience.
A.
Lovely food. Especially their smoked dish, it's like a 4D presentation. However, there is always a long queue. The suburban stores are more convenient. Note tho, the three stores do have slightly different food menus.
B. B. T. C. P.
The very IG-able signatory menu! Forgot to order the “black” / “blue” latte awwww actually anyone knows what are they?
Saw another table order a smokey dish in a bell jar! Is that on the secret menu???
R. M.
Good coffee, well presented and good tasting food. Sweet things are very sweet, so just beware. Only down side is the prices are a little high for what your getting. I suppose the extra $5 a meal or so goes to making it look cool :/
F. L.
From presentation to flavours, just great! Chilli cheese and soft shell crab croissant are 100% must try! Enjoyed every bite in mouth.
One thing to add on, it was cold outside and closing time of the café, yet the person in-charged asked his staff to allow customers to come in to order some hot drinks, how sweet.
C. A.
Absolutely love it! Very nice dressing and good food.
菁.
A modern and great cafe option in Melbournes CBD!
M. 0.
This is one of three cafes in this small enclave of Hardware St where there are weekend cues for breakfast- I just don’t get it! Is it just to be seen or are these cafes that good? White Mojo is a nice space & decor, friendly and efficient staff - the guy sorting the tables and seating is particularly good and the wait wasn’t very long. (At 10.00 am). However if you are couple be prepared to be on a large sharing table which is not a fav. The food is not the usual bfast fare (in a good way) and the Big Mac (not what you think) was good and what else I saw certainly looked good - if a bit pricy. So nothing is wrong but you’ll have to decide if you want to que (especially in the colder weather) when there are so many choices in the CBD.
C. C.
Crazy whimsical breakfasts that look and taste amazing.
M. D.
One of the most popular cafe in the city and I can see why, their award-winning double cheese chilli scramble stands out a lot in taste and presentation. There's nothing bland about it. Love it so much.
J. C.
Although the coffee is pleasantly smooth, the waiting on the weekend leaves a poor taste in my mouth.
After the wait I find the big breakfast is a single small portion of everything. The only thing not so small is the price.
I recommend having a more managable service structure, less tables and more care to the customers you already have sitting.
J. S. L.
This cafe is just so unpredictable. They always impressed me with every single new dish they created. I’m back again after a few months and their new Yorkshire Pudding is AMAZED! Crispy out layer pudding with full filling of salmon tartare. The greatest extra point is the 63 degree sous vide egg on top! The runny egg added extra moisture to the dish, every single bite is a mouthful of satisfaction. In the end will be the horseradish hollandaise. People barely try horseradish and they definitely wouldn't know its one of the best match with seafood! A lightly dip in the hollandaise enhance the flavor of the dish. I will definitely come back for this dish again!
D. A.
The wait was a bit long but the food was so incredible that I completely forgot about the wait time. This place makes you feel like your the mouse in the movie Ratatouille. If you are an American visiting Australia you gotta go to this place, this place is incredible.
B.
Nice place to have a meal, tasty and great serving sizes. Although we were told it would be a 30min wait (which is totally fine), but then told it would be another 15min x3 making it a total of 1 hour 30 min. Other than that disappointment I’d definitely recommend the it :)
J. K.
Food can be a bit pricy, but food looks & tastes nice.
A. G. J.
With group of six. Food was Insta worthy and delicious. Service was slower than average but took advice from another reviewer and had the red velvet on the counter which went perfectly with my cap.
N. S.
Loved it, loved the Buzz, chai latte and black sesame latte was to die for 😁
P. B.
The coffee (small double fw) was an excellent medium roast with a smooth profile that almost had me ordering a second cup.
I'm not sure if the chilli scrambled eggs are their signiture dish but it sure should be! Rare to find a chilli dish with a solid kick while remaining so well balanced, the eggs, chilli and cheese all come through with each bite, but wait what's that? Corn? Yes, a little spark of genius in this dish, adding a sweet explosion that took a good dish and made it great. Served with a charcoal bun instead of toast added that inner city cafe flair while providing a clean base to the dish, another smart move. The bacon was of good quality and added to the dish but I could definitely suggest this dish without the bacon as a vegaterian option.
For a 7am breakfast the bright decor was a bit of a wake up call but perhaps just what I needed. At this time of the day they were almost empty and service was fast and attentive.
K.
I am not quite sure why this place has any less than 5 stars. My partner and I originally planned to go to a cafe that was highly recommended but the line was too long--which I'm glad because that led us to stumble upon this gem. Best coffee I've tasted yet in Australia, and the food was fresh and delicious.
K. C.
Beautiful food great service just a bit expensive
M. R.
Can't believe waffles can be this beautiful and tasty
A. M.
So pleased the hotel recommended this place. The breakfast menu was a nice change from the usual fare and very tasty. The delightful waitress made us feel very welcome.
f.
We were recommended this lil' eatery from a friend but unfortunately our experience didn't live up to the hype. Food was great and service up to expected standards but wait tines were long and we didn't like the fact we had to share a table with strangers.
C.
Only same here for a drink, had the iced matcha latte and black latte and both were really good. Be sure to wipe your mouth after you drink the black latte, otherwise you'll be walking around Melbourne with black lips. 😄
K. H.
Most amazing service! They replaced my meal after I half ate it and made the wrong choice on my own accord! Beautiful food and the best coffee! Worth lining up for!!!
T. S.
The soft shell crab croissant was definitely interesting, and the coffee decent. Probably not one of to tier Melbourne cafes though. The fit out and ambience was very clean, if a bit sterile.
M. B.
Just excellent. Cant believe other reviews are so low. The food is seriously yum. The chilli scrambled eggs were sublime and the coffee has a different flavour which is Yum.
N. F.
Best brunch food I've had in a while. A mixed of classic and creative dishes, some with nice Korean twists.
M. K.
Great food at standard prices
D. Y.
The proving ground for the what is now a 3 shop chain. Food and coffee are not bad. Looks good. But when compared with so many other good Melbourne cafes, it's taste is a bit average.

Got a nice breakfast, beautiful looking and delicious. Waiting time was a bit long but still was okay.
Staff was friendly and I enjoyed the calm vibe and looks of the restaurant.
The place was not busy c:

We sit in Sydney dreaming of the big breakfast here. It’s our priority brunch every time we come down. Best chorizo ever. Great coffee.
K. W.
Great breakfast and nice matcha latte.
Y. L.
Black coffee is just so so, but it is so expensive. A small one costs $6.5. Didn't try anything else
A. R. G.
A beautiful bright café with very friendly staff, the menu was just the right size with dishes for everyone with a wide range of foods and ingredients to explore.

Another addition to Melbourne's long list of cafes. White mojo's decor is simple, clean and easy on the eyes. The food was well presented and had a fine-dining feel to it. I went in wanting to try their cauliflower panacotta but they ran out and ended up with croissant burger with soft shelled crab - tasty but heavy!

When you pay this much for a coffee, you can expect the coffee to come with sugar when you ask for it. You don’t expect the waitress to say, “ the sugar is on the table”. There are better ways to say it so that you don’t offend the patrons.I don’t know if the waitress was having a bad day but she could have smiled a little.

Expensive but ok...
Got my stomach full anyway 👍

Good coffee and food wpuld highly recommend.

The place is very packed so better come early to get a seat, the matcha latte is the bomb... I dont really like my food but my companies love theirs so much! The place also has nice decoration! !!
J. S.
I really like the coffee here! It's obviously a great place for photos, but the food and coffee are actually great and the staff were super friendly and attentive.

Food was delicious! I had a salmon Benedict and it was both filling and super yummy. Staff were friendly!
Thanks for having me!

It's basically Instagram heaven for Millennials. That being said the food is amazing and the service is brilliant. Coffee is perfect. So get off you phone and defend your breakfast.....
K. P.
Nice coffee n breakfast with good quality of service 👍👍👍
B. C.
The food was decent but there was something in the atmosphere that left something to be desired. Perhaps filling the remaining white space on the walls with some posters/paintings that fit the colour scheme would be a good idea.
J. S.
Not so good for breakfast, there no options variety or plates
P. W.
Expensive but filled up my empty stomach 👍
c. k.
Amazing place to chill and amazing food, n chefs did a good job. Especially Ms.purple she did looked after us so good. Great customer service :)))👍👍👍👍👍
J. W.
Have to say this wss pretty good. Make sure you get there early as the queue to get a table can be out the door and down the street a bit. Good service and good food.
M. B.
Great service and nice vibe. Mac and cheese croissant was sublime, but the big breakfast lacked a stand out flavour. Would definitely visit again though
A. W.
Beautiful deco and place. Food is so so. Coffee is good. Staff are nice. Had the big breakfast. Not bad. Salmon tartare is a bit blend.
F. H.
Expresso soda is delicious however food order took over 30 mins to arrive for two people and the place wasn't even packed. Decor and staff were pleasant however unattentive had to ask check on our order.
D. V.

Excellent cafe food with a sophisticated twist. I wish the lighting and the temperature was warmer

Good place for a brunch but had a bad experience with one of the waitress
C. X.
On the top brunch list as always
W. L.
This place is great! I love the cappuccinos that they make. I usually have one on the weekend before I go to Deakin University and to the church. Fantastic!
L. X.
Coffee wasn't that great, but the food made up for it.
A. L.
Exquisite! White Mojo know how to combine the most yummy, delicate flavours and also how to plate beyond perfect. The most tasty and photofriendly brunch ever.
S. W.
Came for morning tea after a night in the city and got a coffee as well as waffles. Coffee was brewed perfectly and the waffles came beautifully presented with a mix of fresh and dried fruit.
M. K.
Perfection in latte art!
R.
Nice food and friendly staff. Ordered double cheese chili scramble egg burger, spicy taste is abit over for me.. but overall is a good experience
A. S.
Enjoyed the food and coffee here. Another very creative Melbourne cafe with its own twist. Well worth trying this place out
A. C.
Succulent and juicy softshell crab mixed with smooth egg yolk crunched through crispy croissant, with wood smoke coming from the finely pickled smoked salmon coming from the next table. The senses were tingled and a belligerent critic is silenced.
K. S.
Standard brunch menu with hearty meals - the matcha latte was a highlight! Very nice decor as well
D. G.
Lovely service and great food! Good to see creative brunch menu like this
K. W.
Tasty food, good presentation.
A. W.
Delicious food, great coffee and friendly staff. Had to line up to get in on a cold wet Saturday, but the wait was less than 5 mins
J.
Crab egg thing real good
A. A.
I went there many times, I like the seating and they have very delicious coffee
Y. P.
Overrated and small portions for what you pay. The orange pancake looks pretty but it's more like a cake with decorations rather than a fluffy breakfast pancake.
E. B.
Bright happy vibe lifts the melbourne winter spirits
Somewhat inefficient staffing who also hadn't tried the whole menu so not great for recommendations
Coffee was the expected 7/10 standard (by inner city Melbourne standards So pretty darn good).
Y. S.
Coffee Art here is really amazing. You can get many impressive image on the coffee. But food here I can just recommend So So. Maybe I will go next time jst for coffee and especially coffee art

L. S.
Tasty, eye catching meals, went for breakfast at 9:30am, people waiting after 10am. Service, presentation and food 10 out 10.

Food was divine, coffee was perfect (and I liked sugar syrup they served to help sweeten the coffee)
G. Y. S.
Must try

P. C.
Loved the coffee and brekkie options. Really friendly staff as well

Not so much effort put into vegetarian smash avo dish compared to other amaizing meat dishes. Super yummy and very creative (not so much the smash avo)
D. F.
Phenomenal coffee and brilliant breakfast choices. The chilli double cheese scrambled eggs is amazing.
A. S.
Brunch dishes were nicer than I expected. I would try another menu next time.

Divine and individualistic coffee, always well executed regardless of who's on machine. Friendly staff and calming environment. Respite in the CBD.
P. E.
Modern fresh decor. Plenty of seating. Interesting food and drinks menu. Service was quite good.
J. T.
Fantastic overpriced Soy Latte @ $4.50 for a mini size
M. o.
Probably the most amazing non hazelnut latte coffee I've ever had!
A. J.
the signature, Chilli scramble is the best, they have. And a good coffee joint. nice brew.
b. v.
Not too bad, but nothing for special

The breakfast and coffee you get here is amazing. The place had a super cozy atmosphere, highly recommend this place!
A. R.
Food was good at this cute little cafe. Expect a 30 minute wait for a table on the weekend
N. Q.
Love the hole in the wall vibe of the place but if you don't look at the directions closely, you'll miss out of where the cafe is located.
