Beautiful open spaces of dining area on Saturday 🌞afternoon.
I had an appointment and happened be parked🚫 near by.
Wonderful delicious bun which had cream cheese on top with fruity pastry. Turkish bread was crispy outside and chewy moist and tasty soft bread😋
Very nice lovely staff and helped me with their menu and parking area.
Thank you😊
I will definitely come back soon❣

By far the best sourdough in Melbourne! We’ve been buying our sourdough from here for more than 2 years. Haven’t been able to find another bakery that matches the quality! The staff are always so friendly which is a massive bonus! Definitely give their sourdough a try.
P. H.
This place serves up one of the best breads and pastries. Definitely try their morning bun, focaccia slices and all their sandwiches are delish, especially their ham cheese toastie, roast chicken and egg creamed greens baguettes.

I went there many times for a coffee on the go. They only offer 2 alternatives for non-dairy consumers: oat milk and soy milk. The coffee was absolutely delicious!!!.... I went recently to have lunch, they close early (around 3 pm I think) and I order a special menu of the day: a combination of salads, and again, it was delicious!... my salad was a full meal itself, after finished it I was absolutely satisfied. I loved the combination of colors, textures and the dressing full of flavors. I didn’t need to add nothing else. The dish came with a very thick slice of homemade -authentic- sourdough bread and a portion of butter aside. I loved the Wild Life Bakery, the vibes, friendly staff, the decoration, spacious, clean, well illuminated... I can’t wait to be in the surroundings again and have lunch there once more. A selection of a daily special plus a coffee was around $22/24, the prices are fair enough. Last but not least, you can buy very good quality bakery products there to take home, such as different kinds of breads, croissants and other sweet treats. I recommend

One of the best bakeries in Melbourne. Superb sourdough and a small selection of amazing pastries and cakes. Get here early to beat the lines, or miss out. Great coffee from Market Lane, too.

This bakery cafe in Brunswick is an absolute hidden gem.
Simple, Modern, Warehouse-based interiors. Very spacious. Perfect cafe for reading 🙏
PLUS, one of the best Baguette Sandwiches I've ever had! Grabbed Roasted Cauliflower Baguette & Special Baguette with Asian fillings. Roasted Cauliflower one was just wonderful. It was very crusty with just the right amount of savouriness and creaminess from the fillings. Top tier!
Grabbed 2 loaves of sourdoughs: Fruit and White. Big enough to be a newborn but only $7 each. Such a bargain! Must grab one everytime you visit!

Overall Rating: 5
Quality: 5/5
Value: 5/5
Service: 5/5
I rarely give a place 5 on all attributes but wildlife is in a league of it's own. Food is amazing, quantity and quality for the price is exceptional, and staff are always friendly.
COVID safety: staff always wearing masks correctly ✔️
Order details: review based on multiple orders over multiple weeks

Incredibly good Cheese and Ham toasted sourdough sandwich at Wild Life Bakery.
The sandwich is very chewy and flavourful. The coffee is also very good. It is recommended to come early as it gets crowded during peak hours.
The coffee is also very good, although they don't have low fat milk or slim milk options.

We got there at around 9am. Stood in the queue for about 10 minutes. Ordering was quick and easy. Fresh morning buns are probably the best pastries I've had in a while. Crunchy, sweet and moist on the inside. Just perfect. Good quality coffee too. Great overall experience
P. K.
It's lock down again so I might update this when we get to eat inside. My partner and I got a crossont each (1 choc and one kimchi) and 2 coffees, the pour over was good the oat coffee was very good. Both pastries were delicious.
We also picked up a 10/10 sourdough loaf. It's delicious.
A. A.
Excellent selection of pastries and cakes. Tried the almond croissant, basque burnt cheesecake, and morning bun, all of which had good textures and tasted great.
T. C.
A gem in East Brunswick with amazing food, bread and coffee. Interior is spacious yet inviting with natural sunlight shining through the former windows. Staff are helpful, friendly and genuine. Bread is some of the best in and around Melbourne. Loaves are large but full of flavour, with well developed crust and crumb. coffee from Market Lane is always a sign of quality. Must try the shakshuka, make sure to ask for extra slice of toast and be sure to try the morning bun. It's always a treat to visit, definitely recommend!
M. V.
A perfect pick me up during lockdown, this place quickly became the highlight of the week! They have rotate types of tasty bread each day so there’s always a new loaf to try. Lots of pastries and treats, the cake of the day usually changes and one is always vegan and it has never failed to disappoint. Can’t go back to bread from anywhere else.

This large and light filled spot is perfect for breakfast, bread, coffee or pastries. I love the simple and rustic yet innovative menu. Everything is pretty reasonably priced and fresh but hearty. The $13 egg, creamed greens and onion baguette is very crusty with just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. Coffee is also very nice.
R. P.
If you ever wake up craving a nice coffee, some sourdough, maybe a cheesecake or a toasted sandwich, this place should be explored. For take away or dine in, the place has a cool vibe and staff is always welcoming with a big smile. A Brunswick institution for sure.
R. M.
The cafe is located in a quiet area, having a huge, open space with a lot of natural light coming through the windows and the ceiling. The service was very smooth, and they use Market Lane to make their coffee. The filter coffee that I had was delicious. Great cafe to spend some slow, relaxing time!
K. G.
Delicious coffee and toasted sandwiches. Welcoming and friendly staff. The cake display was varied and all options looked amazing, it was hard to choose. I ended up with the chocolate and coffee torte to take home, it was rich and sinfully good.
The cafe itself looks lovely and open but was a little noisy at times.
Very busy and a 20 minute wait for a table.
R. H.
I learnt about this place via a Time Out post and decided to try. It was very spacious with friendly staff and was not crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon which was nice. I liked the modern interior design of the bakery and somehow it reminded me of Lune Croissanterie in Fitzroy. The mocha I ordered was very delicious, however, their Shakshuka with feta and braised lamb shoulder was definitely a highlight of the day.
V. L.
Heard good things about their bread and had to check it out since I’m a big fan of sourdough. And I have to say the bread here is solid. The tanginess is very apparent, 100% sourdough that might be too sour for some but the flavours and texture are just amazing. The crumb is super spongy and chewy, which soaks up the shashuka beautifully. We bought a lemon and fennel seed loaf home and oh my the smell and taste is heavenly. And the loaf is huge too. This place’s bread is legit and there’s no doubt about it. If you love sourdough look nowhere else.
The shashuka is surprisingly delicious. Probably the most tomatoey, sweet and least oily shashuka I’ve ever tasted, and the eggs are super soft and creamy. It pairs well with the bread as well.
Raspberry danish also hits the spot. I hate when danish is not well cooked and soggy in the middle. But the danish here is perfect, not overly sweet, the tangy raspberry makes the buttery and rich danish lighter. We took the croissant away and ate several hours after that, but it was still super crispy on the outside. I’ve always thought Lune croissant is so overrated and the only amazing thing about it is the crispy exterior. However you can get the same crispiness from the croissant here so why bother lining up at Lune.
We came after it opened 20 mins on sunday and the place was already packed with locals, but it is quite spacious and it did not take long for us to get seated.
The only thing i would ask for is probably the bread should be toasted a bit before serving since the crust is super chewy when not toasted, which is normal for sourdough.
Overall, love the products here and I can see and taste the skill of the baker and the attention put into making these beautiful bakery goods.
A. J.
Excellent service, delicious food and coffee. The almond croissants are the best in the land in my opinion!
A. B.
Really amazing food, bread, sweets! Can't fault them on this. However, I feel as though they could increase the amount of certain produce. For example the square pizzas are usually ready around 10, and then ALL sold out by 10;50 and they dont have any other batches. Would be good to not have to feel stressed to get a pizza on certain days
S. H.
A cute bakery/ cafe in Brunswick... good service and friendly staff...I ordered baguette with egg and onion jam and it was good... the coffee was so good too but they don't have skinny/low fat milk... I ended up having a chocolate croissant fot takeaway and I think it's one of the best croissants I ever had in Melbourne... try it and you will love it
M. B. M.
what a discovery! i love the fit out of the warehouse with soaring ceilings, circular windows to peep into the kitchen and bakery, big open space, lots of flowers, friendly staff.
i believe they are known for their bread baked on the premises - the sourdough was good but i found the croissant slightly heavy.
i had the morrocan chickpea soup with lots of tomatoes cooked in lamb stock and a cheese toastie which was delicious.
I. P.
Came after reading about their egg baguette and no joke it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The bread is great, crunchy, chewy, just enough bite, could be toasted a bit more but overall pretty damn good. The onion jam is magic and the creamed greens with rocket is a nice peppery touch. Wish I had the stomach to try more everything looked so good.
K. M.
Had a weekend brunch here this morning with some friends and a small child. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The space has nice minimalist decor. The selection is equally minimalist but the food that came out was great. The only downer if any was the coffee was on the weaker side. I had a double shot but really didnt get a hit of flavour in my coffee. I swear i was drinking just milk. Perhaps it was a one off mistake but my friend also had a burnt flavour in their mocha. Other than some small unfortunate errors this was a pleasant morning experience.
I.
It looks good, modern, open plan with stark walls, bench seating outside - serving fresh organic baked goods (breads and pastries+). Limited menu but all sounded good. I opted for a latte to start, it was busy and took awhile to arrive. The first sip left me wondering what the flavour was, second sip.... tasted like black tea leaves. Odd.
W. T. S. C.
Hidden gem off Luton street. Bakery come cafe with great coffee and a selection of breads and pastries. A very cool open space - old factory renovated to house the bakery and cafe. Plenty of seats inside and out and very friendly staff. Worth a visit.
D. N.
So many vegan, egg free and dairy free options. The gochuchang tofu baguette was excellent
T. S.
Really excellent coffee despite not having almond milk. Food is delicious too!
C. H.
Excellent, attentive service. Excellent coffee that was made super fast considering the size of the venue. Food was great although the bread was a little bit tough or dense.. I can't think of the word. "Sharp" was the term my companion mentioned.
Points lost for me due to the long wait and loud echo in the place, that comes with building a cafe in a warehouse with all that concrete although the decore was nice.
K. E.
Another winner for the Melbourne food experience, with great food and fantastic coffee. We had the Brown Rice Bowl and the Chicken Salad, both of which were excellent with a great spicy backing with kim chi and chillies. Service was great and while the decor is simple, it suits the industrial location and vibe. Menu includes a great range of sandwich options and light meals, with great bread baked on site. Winner!
L. L.
Came by on bike in the morning and found a short queue, everyone was politely spaced and clearly some good rapport with regular customers and staff :)
Service was efficient and friendly, the space is beautiful too.
Was recommended the croissants and they didnt disappoint! If you like soft, crispy and light in your pastries, this is one for you. Enjoyed at home with avo, sauerkraut and pesto and pepper, for all the delicious textures and flavors. Thanks Wild Life team!
F. C.
Awesome place, I love the ambiance, the coffee is good and the service is great too.
I keep coming back every other week, it's become my favourite cafe nearby.
The flower decoration got me hocked since day one.
Try the baggetes, you won't regret it.
C. S.
Fantastic coffee, delicious food despite being takeaway food. Friendly and polite cafe staffs who worked busily! Can’t wait to come back when life is back to normal
S.
Great food. Table was dirty and not wiped down. Probably will go back for take away just for their morning buns!
H. K.
Brunswick's cafe culture off the main streets is thriving, love the concept our warehouses that once thrived with manufacturing are now changing into cafes, eateries and been preserved in this way. They also blend in with the new apartment developments. We are spoilt for choices. This airy clean minimalist lines, large voids up above spaces, that is " Wild Life Bakery " has plenty of room to move, had breakfast with my son, we love trying different places in our suburb. This one ticks our boxes friendly staff, food delicious, my love is good bread and crunchy on the outside is how they make theirs, cakes are for our next visit they present amazingly....Our food pics have bites out of them... a good sign... We will be back.....
A. G.
Excellent quality products! From croissants to sandwiches to sweet treats, no shortcuts are taken.
C. C.
Hidden from the crowds of Brunswick street, this cafe / bakery serves locals out of an large industrial designed old garage. Would skip Collingwood and Fitzroy next time ... this is an overall better experience.
S. Z. (.
This fruity loaf is so delicious!! It’s crispy on the outside and soft & moist inside. I’ll definitely come back to try out everything on the menu.
M. B.
Wonderful bakery in a nice part of town. Friendly staff and delicious treats and coffee. Can get busy at times but worth the short wait :-)
D. C.
Kind of like a northside Woodfrog bakery with a restaurant attached. Top of the line pastries and bread and coffee in a beautiful space.
V.
Yum, lovely quality goodies - great place for lunch. Would recommend the pear pancakes, and I'm not really a sweet fan...
N. R. (.
The absolute pinnacle of quality food and hospitality in Brunswick. An impressive range of both classic (top 3 croissants in Melbourne, robust and flavourful baguettes) and innovative baked goods (try the salted caramel tart or famous morning buns!). Beautiful breezy vibes plus welcoming and switched-on staff, tucked away just off Lygon street. An oasis of all-round goodness. Highly recommended.
M.
Bread, yum. Cakes, inspired. Coffee, delicious! Also the eggs, coffee, kim chi and other groceries have been great to source locally. The egg and greens pesto roll is delicious. Staff are always kind and professional. Hope to be back in for brunch soon (crosses fingers)
C. F.
I find this place a bit hit and miss.
It's relatively expensive and some of the staff seem to resent working there/appear a bit miserable, feels like they are doing you a favour by producing a hot drink. Others more friendly.
.
Overall the place seems a bit pretentious which puts me off visiting, furthermore I reckon you'd get better service and product of equal quality at other places.
.
Hot chocolate is awesome though, best I've had locally. Haven't ate alot here but hear the bread is awesome.
I. W.
Great coffee and delicious sandwiches & toasties - focusing on the essentials and doing them right.
L. N.
Great coffee, amazing bread, friendly staff. A bit pricey.
E. F.
Amazing coffee, my all-time favourite.
Friendly staff. Bakery goods are to die for! Always good, only serving the best. Personally I love the pastries as they are so fresh - generally still warm as they sell out fast!
N. T.
Quite an excellent folded egg and creamed greens sandwich.
S. C.
It’s a nice cafe in my local community. The food is fresh and delicious. Their coffee also nice and taste good. You can also get some great local products such as St David milk, Market Lane coffee beans in store. Highly recommend
N. C.
The treats and breads are fresh and delicious. Try the chocolate croissants!
E. D.
Sourdough bread is incredible, nice coffee, great atmosphere. The only critic would be the coffee was a little milky.
K.
Good bakery - with great service. I enjoy the morning buns!
A. M.
This french style bakery is tucked away down a quiet part of Albert st but it's a real little gem! The interior is large and spacious and there are windows into where the bakers are doing their magic with dough, so you can watch them at work. There is also a great outdoor area at the front with plenty of seating and it catches the morning sun. There is a lovely range of french style sour dough breads, baguettes and pastries on offer as well as a breakfast and lunch menu. I had the baguette with egg, creamed greens and rocket. The baguette had that distinct sour dough flavour and a lovely crunchy crust. The fillings were fresh and tasty and made to order. It was a substantial size and more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The coffee and service was also great! I also bought a Pain au Chocolat pastry to take home for afternoon tea. It did not disappoint! I will certainly be returning to this delightful place!
J. M. B.
The coffee and the food was good but the place is too hot in summer. There was only one small fan in one corner of the local. Not enough to ventilate all the area.
J. Y.
Been wanting to try the Kimchi and Comte toastie for ages and did not disappoint! Loved the chill vibe and open space at lunch time today. Thanks for the awesome takeaway pastries too. Day made.
H. S.
I tried many things, all of them are good, especially the cheesecake.
K. X.
Cheesecake were sold out by the time we arrived
S. L.
The bread is delicious, but can't comment on much else so the five stars are for that. It was a nice change, they are more expensive than others though, but they're also larger in size so it works out. The seeded sourdough is yumm. Had to line up on a Saturday morning around 9, but didn't take too long.
A. T.
Excellent cafe, centrally located and always a pleasure to visit. Coffee is near perfect and the kimchi and cheese crossaint is a real treat.
A. R.
Best breakfast/lunch/coffee spot PERIOD! The food is always fresh, the coffee is always perfect and the service is next level.
I don't even live in the suburb and try and go once a week and always seem to leave with 4 loaves of the sourdough bread (if I can even get my hands on that many, personally I think it rivals Baker Bleu for best sourdough). Very baby friendly and the staff MY GOD! They are amazing - Wildlife Bakery youve done well.
J.
Great place to have breakfast, I've tried the bread and it is a big loaf, moist and really good bread. The French toast are to die for. I would recommend you try it ! I've been there a few times now and always been great service. Always quite busy
D. T. (.
The bread is tip top! Amazing freshly baked bread, no one compares.
T. F.
The egg scramble baguette with haloumi is unreal. And the fresh bread and croissants are some of the best in Melbourne. Good coffee too. 👌 It can get pretty busy on weekends but that's the price you pay for going to a good place on the weekend.
H. F.
A beautiful bakery in the backstreets of Brunswick. Delicious toasted sandwiches filled with gooey cheese and caramelised onion. Prices are pretty reasonable. Fantastic coffee, too. We left with some takeaway loaves which were delicious for breakfast the next day.
K. A.
Very tasty pain au chocolate and baguettes.
H. R.
Big high ceiling, open spaces, bakery and cafe, nice atmosphere.
L. V.
Wonderful bakery, the beard is some of the best I’ve had, Also has great meals ! Staff are friendly and service was great . Highly recommend checking it out
M. R.
You have not lived until you have eaten the Wild Life Bakery Olive bread. Annoyingly, it's only available to buy on Sundays. I need it all day, every day. The various bread loaves are frequently sold out by 11am on weekends so get in quick (or make more please bakers!)
The breakfast scroll is like a cinnamon donut but larger and not shaped like a donut so you can tell yourself it's healthier than a donut.
If you stop by to eat in, the sandwiches are huge and delicious.
E. S.
I went here because it was on a Melbourne “cheap eats” list. I didn’t find it cheap. $15 for a basic toasted sandwich I could have made better at home. Way too much bread and not enough filling. Couldn’t taste any mustard butter and was far too bread heavy for the amount of filling. Not seasoned well enough, no sauce or relish to get through all the bread and no salt on the table. My wife got French toast with ricotta and jam and the jam tasted like marmalade and had tomatoes in it...also it was very small on one piece of brioche. Mostly friendly but slow service, wouldn’t go back.
E. M.
The best bakery I know. The fruit bread is sensational. Coffee is fabulous also.
k. w.
This place is awesome! Amazing baked goods, bread and brekkie menu too! Coffee is fantastic and staff are friendly. I only wish the outdoor area was more protected from the elements as we always sit out the front with our doggies.
k. d.
Lovely cafe friendly staff, make their own bread, nice open feel to the place. Coffee was good but not as strong as some also no chocolate on the cappuccino. 4 out of 5 from me only because I like choc on my cap and also I think if you do toasted sandwich you should have tomatoes option with your ham n cheese toastie (they dont have tomatoes) but then again just a personal thing. Deff try this place,is nice.
D. H.
Good coffee and croissants, but no atmosphere (feels like a spacious, minimalist airport lounge). Do all new fitouts need to be so sterile? No colour, no art, no plants. I guess you could just get takeaway and in the park across the street. Very popular on the weekend.
L. N. M.
This could possible be the best food I ever had, the bread is just amazing. Great filter coffee too, but it takes a little long, maybe a batch brew would be better. Staff are very nice
K. H.
Loved the almond croissant. Thanks for fast tracking our ham and mustard butter sandwich and coffee so we could get to next appt. Next time we'll linger longer. Friendly, modern atmosphere.
A. C.
Awesome food! Put the sourdough polenta on the permanent menu please! 😍😍
W.
I've just moved in around the corner and this is my new favourite spot. The coffee is consistently great, the food is well worth a visit. I highly recommend 👌
S. Q.
1. Very very basic menu and everything is vegetarian but in saying that the baked eggs were delicious and we're the redeeming quality of the café.
If your going to have a small menu you need some standout dishes that people come for but there were no standout dishes to draw you back.
2. Coffee average - long black was on the burnt side but partner said his latte was okay
3. Poor service. No direction whether we wait to be seated. Were handed menus but not asked if we wanted to order coffee. Took ages for our order to be taken.
With so many other cafes around there is no reason to come back
A. P.
Has gone downhill since head baker left. Pastries are not quite like they used to be and slightly lacking in comparison.
Wait staff are not very "on the ball" and have to flag them down (of which you don't get much of a window to grab their attention from chatting to each other or cleaning - not scanning the room for empty or nearly empty drinks or meals to ask if you want something more).
The wire chairs are super uncomfortable. Look cool but awful to sit on.
The lamb shakuska is amazing I must give credit where credit it due and the stone backed sour dough is pretty good too.
R. S.
Keep going back for kimchi croissants and batch brew. Customer service can be hit and miss.
S. H.
Good coffee, tasty food and delicious bread. The staff and owner are also very kind. My friend spilt her soup all over herself and they got her a replacement and were very nice about it. I even smashed some of their glassware and they didn’t make a fuss.
S. S.
Sensational coffee and sourdough, delicious and inventive breakfasts.
Thank god Wild Life isn't just another gross bacon-and-eggs joint serving the same old tired menu. Genuine artisans making excellent bread and coffee in a gracious and attractive space.
R. B.
Look, I can't fault the food. We had a ham and cheese toastie and a cinnamon scroll with coffees.
However, the service is terrible. I've been here with my partner three times now because it's her local, but every time, we have been ignored by staff and had to wait for ages to be served! We even tried taking away to the park instead, but the same story.
The last time was particularly bad though.
We sat unattended for easily 20 mins before we managed to flag a staff member down, and after I'd already found myself a menu. It wasn't even particularly busy but there was just nobody on the floor.
All the staff were behind the counter, talking and laughing amongst themselves.
I'm all for fun, but not when I'm hangry...
I doubt that I'll be back a fourth time. It's expensive and pretentious.
A. S.
Great bakery/Cafe. There is a minimalistic inside and a no fuss outside. The latter is generally always containing dogs due to its close proximity to flemming Park. Can Highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant, and the bread is also delicious
T. C.
Average coffee and found a foreign hair in the cup...
Sourdough toast that came with the shakshuka was tab bit dry. Service was okay but took a while for us to be acknowledged and seated.
C. H.
Awesome bakery and great cafe! Kid friendly with heaps of high chairs and room for prams.
Coffee always hits the spot and the pain au chocolat is so good! Love the shakshuka as well as the creamed greens baguette.
Can get busy on weekends but staff always try their best to accommodate.
S. H.
Mouth-wateringly good croissants, amazing coffee by Market Lane, and my favourite fruit bread to take home. Always impeccable – just remember to arrive early before the pastries sell out!
G. L.
I have eaten croissants all across France and the croissants here are the best that I have ever eaten. The coffee and variety of cakes as well is next level. Keep up the great work!
S. R.
Excellent sourdough, cakes by the slice, croissants and great grocery basics now too. Try the take home cookie dough, it's dangerous in the best way.
J. M.
Hands down the best baguette in Melbourne. Absolutely melts in your mouth. A bit on the pricier side but the bread is worth it.
C. L.
Great little bakery tucked away up the side street.
B. B.
Great selection of truly yummy sandwiches in a bright and airy warehouse setting.
T. R.
Café and in-house bakery, located in the middle of Brunswick East opposite Fleming Park - a definite winner for those with prams due to the well spaced out tables.
Service is always friendly with an interesting breakfast and lunch menu. The ham & Comté sambo is a winner for sure.
Nice outside space on a warm day with ample room for dogs
r. a.
Nice atmosphere. I just tried their seeds bread. I found it at another place better. It is unfair to give them less than because I haven’t tried anything else.
E. M.
Fabulous bread, can't fault it at all - really delicious! Better coffee at other places in the area, cheaper too. I paid $4.50 for a small flat white, AND I brought my own keep cup - for shame.
E. B.
Good, delicious Bakery my recommendation is the almond croissant and helpful staff.
L. J.
Menu is interesting and the bread is delicious but the staff are slow, unpleasant and seem to only be able to smile while gossiping amongst themselves.
Not the atmosphere you expect for a Sunday breakfast.
H. C.
My local bakery - I frequently stop in here for a loaf of bread or to treat myself to a delicious pastry and coffee. Get in early - they frequently run out of the sourdough at the weekend due to high demand!
J. T.
7/10 $5.00 Croissant, 8/10 $7.00 Danish
D. C.
Insanely good sourdough loaves. No decaf coffee but available at Ten Tables a short walk away.
M. R.
Great bread and coffee to take away. Weekend waiting times are long if you are unlucky or order stuff other than sandwiches that needs to be made to order.
E. T.
Great playlist. Beaut coffee. The bread is obviously delicious too. Keen to come back and try the rest of the menu with a friend
A. “. G.
Good Coffee, well detailed, warehouse fit -out,
Know when not to act.. not to interfere.. see second photo,,
Good bluestone, matches the red brick well I think, but I am not too serious a critic I like everything if someone has a go
C. G.
Being a local I use to love coming here, unfortunately this is the second time where I haven't been acknowledged or a menu/water placed on the table. I was about to place my order at the counter to save them coming over but decided to go elsewhere, as looking around they had minimum staff on the floor and other tables awaiting the same thing.
D.
Really nice bakery, amazing coffee, the baked goods and dishes are just as good, nice outdoor area, dog friendly, one of the best cafes in very competitive brunswick full of amazing cafes.
E. B.
Excellent bread, good coffee and possibly the best cheese toastie around (get it with caramelized onion)
H. T.
Enjoy the spacious seating & high ceiling with sun rays streaming into the atmosphere. Dishes sampled were exciting & enjoyed the strong flavoured chai ...
H. B.
Coffee, baguettes, atmosphere 😙
J. A.
Comfortable and pleasant. Efficient though not intrusive service. A small and tasty brunch menu.
Z. M.
Only veg options. Sometimes takes a while to order. But good place and very good coffee
R. J.
Great bread, please more vegan options for takeout and decaf coffee would be a great addition too! ♥ always insanely busy but VERY efficient staff
S. B.

Came here reading about the sour dough, but when I asked it was just half sour dough. Hope it'll get there!
A. H.
Amazing bread and coffee - i wish the brekky menu was slightly better.
The Kimchi cheese toastie is delicious but the Shakshouka is too watery 😪.
T. K.
Bread is the best I've had in Melbourne, lovely place for a coffee, really nice kombucha too, good staff.
M. M.
Lovely selection of baked goods. Coffee is good but not great. Excellent French toast almost more of a light pain perdu.
P. E.
Wanted to compare the kimchi toasted sandwich with the similar sandwich at Kines. It was fairly tasty. Second place. 4 star tasty.
P. N.

This place is a hit & miss. The coffee and food is usually good, but on busy days it seems to be overwhelmed and understaffed, and the food/service quality disappointing.
D. A.

B. S.
The pastries are next level out of this world, coffee is excellent breakfast is good but honestly it's all about the pastries!

Their pastries are to die for - every day is a new awesome combination (Rhubarb and thyme, anyone?). Great coffee too.

Nice design, good vibe, but too hot in summer due to lack of fan/air-conditioning and pastries way too expensive for what you get.
J. W.
Some of the best sandwiches you can get anywhere. The egg one is deluxe.
