Situated on Angove Street, North Perth, Angove Kitchen & Expresso Bar is a real delight! Lovely Irish Lass & her sidekick are always greeting customer's, as they seem to know everyone who enters the ambient Kitchen Cafe. They are always busy and are on the job 100%. The array of food on display is outstanding I went for the baked Portuguese tart and latte in a glass. Seating inside & outside with daily newspapers to read and a lovely decor surrounding you this place is real life in action, loved it & I'll be back..

Fabulous little cafe in North Perth. Really friendly service and the food came out quickly and was delicious. We had the breaky stack, mango chicken salad and the pork belly salad each was well cooked salads well dressed and great balance of flavour.

Nice café overlooking Angove Street strip. The breakfast/brunch is excellent – well-cooked, fresh produce and decent portions. The menu offers creative selections and good combinations. Coffee is good but it could have more flavour. Staff are always warm, relaxed yet efficient.

Small comfortable cafe with interesting decor . Impersonal and disinterested staff. Average food and service on the slow side. Visited again today. Service was polite efficient prompt and food was very good. We ordered the mushroom bruschetta which was on the board and the waffles with mixed berries together with coffees and a smoothie. Great that the place serves an all day breakfast menu. Will definitely return

Decided to drop in to Angove Kitchen as I hadn't been here since it changed ownership a while ago now. The cafe looked amazing and very different from what it used to be. The lady taking people orders, serving and making coffees was very friendly and polite. The service was prompt and order received was correct. They have lactose free milk which is a bonus for lactose intolerant people. I ordered a large long mac topped up (3 shots standard) and a slice of carrot cake..coffee was great and just how i like it and although the carrot cake was yummy, it did seem a little over moist and sloppy as though it had been frozen and thawed out. Regardless of this I enjoyed my visit to Angove Kitchen & espresso Bar and would visit again and maybe sample the lunch or breakfasts. Rated 5 stars

Cafe and restaurant set in the Angove Street cafe strip with indoor and al fresco seating. Service is generally friendly with the occasional staff being cold at times. Coffee is ok here, and I tried a few of the cakes which were a little bit hit and miss - some of the cakes on the dry side for my liking. Food, otherwise, is generally ok throughout the day. Breakfast and then mains served throughout the day, as well as rolls, cakes, pastries on top of the drinks from this licensed venue.

...super friendly staff, very efficient and magnificent food, served quickly even though it was busy! What else do you want? I then ordered a takeaway mocha coffee on the way out and it was done within minutes and tasted fantastic. All the other eateries on the strip were quiet, no wonder why. Well done guys, good to see good old fashioned service, done with a smile and top notch home cooked tasting food. I also asked as to where they bought the sour dough bread from as it was delicious, only to be informed that it’s made on site by the Chef! Will definitely be a regular here from now on.

Living locally I’ve tried all the coffee shops on Angove street and Angove Kitchen is by far the best. Food and coffee are amazing but it’s the friendly service and welcoming environment that wins for me.

Went with wife for lunch today as we thought we'd try another local in the Entertainment Book. Wasn't busy unlike Fiorentina on the corner so we didn't know what to expect. My steak sandwich in Turkish bread was yummy with a twist on the caramelised onion and seeded mustard spread. Wife's fish was good but panic crust was a bit too thick. Her salad was very good and the red onion had been soaked in a vinaigrette too. Chips were OK but nothing special. Got the long black coffee with pouring cream on the side and that was very good. Service was very friendly, attentive enough and quick. Cakes homemade on premises they told us but we didn't;t have room. The hummingbird, the carrot and the GF orange with cream cheese frosting cakes all looked very yummy. Worth a visit if you're in the locale.

Portion sizes weren't as generous as I'd hope for the prices.$5 for a side of mushrooms but it was probably about a small handful of field mushrooms that went with my scrambled eggs which were a little dry.

Friendly and efficient service. Attentive but not intrusive. Wide selection on the menu- something for everyone. We weren't rushed out when we'd finished eating- we were encouraged to relax and stay, although only one of us ordered another coffee. I am in a wheelchair- this wasn't an issue, they quickly and discretely made room for me and my chair. This isn't always easy, and I appreciate it.
